I have closed two estates before this and have never had such a hard time, ever! It is hard enough to be an executor and you are paying A LOT of money for an attorney to make it less stressful, not more. Her staff is beyond rude, they never answered any question we had asked and when we called it was we'll get back to you but never did. Then they refused to talk to me, even though they had permission to. We previously used an that did a fantastic job just they are in Chicago and we wanted local. That was one of the biggest mistakes we have ever made. Now I have a final bill that is charging us for reading our questions and never answering any of them! Any time we asked they made up more questions for us like we weren't giving them what they needed, it was beyond frustrating and utterly ridiculous. The topper of it all was they absolutely treated us like dirt and implied at every turn that we were trying to do something shady because we wanted to know what they were doing. We pay you to do a job and that is our right to know. Thank god we are back with our original highly competent lawyer who answered every question I asked Lisa's office in about 20 minutes AND didn't charge me for it. They were completely incompetent. We had her do our personal wills which I am now having redone for fear they are not done right. Do yourself a favor and run to anyone and I mean anyone else.
