This was the second time I boarded my dog at this facility, and unfortunately, both visits ended with her coming home sick. After her most recent stay, she developed kennel cough. After her first stay, she came home with kennel cough and an eye infection. While I understand that illnesses can occur in any boarding environment, having it happen both times is extremely concerning. Health Issues This was the second time I boarded my dog at this facility, and unfortunately, both visits ended with her coming home sick. After her most recent stay, she developed kennel cough. After her first stay, she came home with kennel cough and an eye infection. While I understand that illnesses can occur in any boarding environment, having it happen both times is extremely concerning. Care Instructions and Facility Handling I was also disappointed that Duchess's care instructions were not updated during check-in. She is no longer a puppy and no longer chews, yet her paperwork still reflected outdated information. Because of that, she wasn't given the blanket or bed that should have been placed on top of her cot. This should have been caught and corrected by the staff during the check-in process. (I was also told I was unable to leave her blanket and toy from home, which should have been communicated at the time of reservation.) While watching the facility cameras, I also saw another dog placed in Duchess's room for a period of time, although I was never given an explanation as to why. Later, I learned that Duchess had been moved out of her room around midnight because the room needed to be painted. I was never notified that she had been relocated, and I found that very concerning. Communication and Monitoring Concerns To make matters worse, I was unable to access the cameras during the night. Around 3:30 a.m., I became worried because I couldn't see Duchess and had no idea she had been moved. I called the facility, but no one answered. As a pet owner, that was incredibly stressful and upsetting. Customer Service and Response When I called after bringing Duchess home to discuss everything that had happened, I was shocked by the manager's response. Rather than showing concern or empathy, I was told, "Well, you signed a waiver." While I understand that boarding facilities require waivers, a waiver should never be used to dismiss a customer's legitimate concerns or excuse poor communication and preventable issues. That response left me feeling that Duchess's well-being--and my concerns as her owner--were not taken seriously. Overall Experience Any one of these issues might have been understandable on its own, but taken together, they reflect a lack of communication, attention to detail, and accountability. I understand that boarding facilities care for many dogs and that no facility can completely eliminate the risk of contagious illnesses. However, I do expect accurate records, clear communication, transparency when changes are made involving my dog's care, and compassionate customer service when concerns are raised. After two disappointing experiences and two hefty vet bills, I can no longer trust this facility with Duchess and will not be boarding her here again. I hope this review encourages the facility to make meaningful improvements so that other families--and their beloved pets--don't have a similar experience. Our pets can't tell us what happened while they were away, so trust and communication are everything!!

It's outdoors now, and the misting system isn't very strong. It wasn't very cooling, and the dogs are all outdoors. The outdoor area used to be huge - divided into only two sections (large and small dogs) - and now it's all fenced off into multiple sections, and the dog area is much smaller for both sizes. They don't have the run of the land anymore. There's a small house in the back that dogs could go in and out of freely, but it's not used that way anymore. Dogs can't just go inside whenever they want. My dog did spend a day there, but I don't think I'll go back. It's way too hot to subject my dog to this weather.

Last year, I lost my dog Chloe. I had her for 15 years, and losing her completely broke my heart. Afterward, I adopted Lily, a multipoo who had never been out of a cage. She came from a puppy mill and was deeply traumatized. She shook constantly, wouldn't come to me, wouldn't let me touch her, and had severe anxiety. She was peeing and pooping in the house nonstop. I tried everything I knew. I tried love, patience, reassurance. Nothing worked. I was exhausted and completely at a loss. Then life threw me another curveball. A client of mine broke her hip after tripping over her dog and had to move into assisted living. I took in her one-year-old Schipperke named Daisy. If you aren't familiar with this breed, 'the little black devil.' Daisy is the sweetest, smartest dog in the world and also an absolute mischievous chainsaw in a tiny body. Endless energy, barking at people and dogs, running through the house nonstop, biting my neighbor on the ankle and even the gardener, and bullying Lily relentlessly. My house turned into chaos overnight. On top of that, I still had my 13-year-old dog Rocky, who is basically the best-behaved dog on the planet and thankfully not part of the problem. I didn't know what to do anymore. That's when I called Jennifer. Jen took Daisy for a two-week board-and-train, and when Daisy came home, she was a completely different dog. Not perfect, but honestly a million times better. She sleeps in a crate now, no longer bullies Lily, listens extremely well, and while she still barks, it's nothing like before. We're still working on it with Jen, but the transformation was incredible. After that, I sent Lily to Jen. What happened next honestly felt like a miracle. Lily no longer pees or poops in the house. She sleeps in a crate. She comes when I call her. She's happy. She plays. She acts like a dog now, not a scared abuse victim. She still has moments of anxiety and fear, but she is doing a million times better, and the difference is night and day. Jen didn't just train my dogs. She gave them structure, confidence, and safety. She gave me peace in my own home again. She understands dogs on a level that is rare, especially dogs with trauma, anxiety, and behavioral challenges. If you are struggling, overwhelmed, or don't know what else to do, I cannot recommend Jen enough. She is patient, intuitive, honest, and incredibly skilled. She truly changed our lives.
