I visited this local establishment just this past week have the opportunity to go in and a few different menu options and I will tell you The queso with chorizo is the best queso I've had in my life and that is saying a lot cause I love queso The rest of the food we got to enjoy was phenomenal as well. The portion sizes were great whether you get the lunch specials or the dinner specials you were going to be filled either way. They're Mexican street corn was also a really big hit for me. It is not off the cob. It is just corn with all the seasonings mixed in, but it was still really good for what it was so I enjoyed it really well. The only reason why I'm not giving this place a five star review is because the tables in the floor in the aerial is all dirty our table when we came in it will seat yourself, which is fine. We sat down, but there was tables around us that were dirty and then our table we thought it was clean, but the seats that were there had some stuff in them as well as a table and then the floor around us and the other side was dirty as well. The service outside that was excellent. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing very friendly. Everyone who works there did an amazing job. To say this place is terrible is putting it mild. Went here with a friend yesterday and although the colors of the decor caught your eye, the service, food, and cleanliness were seriously lacking. First, we were seated at an insanely sticky table. Gross! Secondly, although our waitress was nice, her skills as a waitress could greatly improve. We waited a very long time just to get napkins, straws, and silverware upon asking. She barely visited our table, and with only just beginning to eat our main dish, she asked if we were ready to look at desserts or needed a "to go" box...like what? We had just gotten our food... we felt very rushed to say the least. Lastly, although the food was decent, immediately upon leaving I got super sick! Like the type of sick that makes you start to think maybe you got food poisoning... I do not recommend eating here at all. The food is not worth the discomfort after. read more

Super cute place, a little small but great location on Main Street in BA. We visited it on 1/30/26 around 6:30pm. Service was outstanding. Waitress went over the entire menu without us asking. We got the shrimp tacos 10/10 and the chimichanga 8.5/10. We also got drinks, one being a Bloody Mary (sorry no picture). The taco and stuffed jalapeño pepper on top was delicious but the Bloody Mary itself wasn't great. We wouldn't order it again. Overall experience 8/10. We would definitely go back. I was there for the first time and ordered a taco salad. Well, when it came out, it literally had a couple of tablespoons of lettuce. So I showed my waitress, and some other lady came out and wanted to charge me more money for more lettuce. I responded by saying "This is a taco salad." meaning that there needs to be lettuce not just what I'm holding between two fingers. She responded by saying "Well that's all it comes with." I've been here a couple of times before doing a review. First and foremost, I have always had really great service from the staff and have sat outside on a nice day which is always a plus. The drinks are really good, but the food is very mediocre in my opinion. I ended up getting the Bandidos style tacos which is steak and shrimp tacos and the wife ended up getting vampiros tacos...think birria style tacos, and of course we had the queso!! The bandidos style tacos were good but not awesome. I was hoping for more flavor from the steak and shrimp combo, but seemed to be missing in these tacos. The barria (vampiros) tacos were difficult to eat. Maybe it's the style that they want to go for, but definitely not something I'm going to get again. The queso was good but that is about it for that. Overall, I had a great experience, awesome atmosphere especially if you are wanting an outside spot in the middle of the rose district, but I won't be coming here for the food, but definitely the drinks. read more

We used to visit the downtown Tulsa location before it closed during COVID, and when asked where he wanted Father's Day dinner, hubs landed on trying their BA location for his favorite burrito, El Donkey. I have had hit or miss meals previously at the old location, but tonight I decided on their house specialty Chipotle Shrimp. The server let us know that there were many side options not on the menu, including boracho beans and elote, which I chose. My son got 2 chicken enchiladas, my daughter had a chicken quesadilla. I loved the shrimp and sides and the portions were very generous. My son noted that the grilled jalapeño sitting on top of the rice made the rice a little too spicy for his preference but he did eat it, so take that review for what it is. My daughter leaves behind a lot of partially eaten quesadillas at other restaurants but decided she wants to bring this one home to eat later. My husband cleared his plate. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The service was great: friendly and attentive but not overly so. My only complaint was something so easily fixable but frustrating: flat soft drinks. Just need to turn up the carbonation. I can say, this will be a repeat for us, and that shrimp is definitely the best meal I've had at Dos Bandidos. read more

I like the fact that Dos Banditos alerts their potential customers that the restaurant's food is Cali-Style. I have avoided the restaurant for years because of that warning. Is it really Cali-Style Mexican food, or is that just a clever marketing ploy to lure displaced west coast migrants? In spite of their assertion, the food was surprisingly delicious. There are two meals that I recommend from the lunch menu. My wife and I have had these meals at real Mexican restaurants before, and in comparison, the Vampiro Tacos and the Alambres were spectacular. The Vampiro tacos were corn tortillas, grilled until the cheese was crispy and then loaded with flavorful tender shredded beef, topped with guacamole and a sprinkle of cilantro. Order the charro beans! The Alambres were made with chopped steak, bacon and fresh onion and red and green bell pepper, then heated until the cheese was melted. Delicious. And a bonus, each plate had a chili toreado. The chips and salsa were fair. The hot being more of a medium level of heat. The mild had a nice flavor. The service was excellent from an energetic young lady, who was managing the entire dining area and bar. I didn't catch her name, but the receipt said Kia. It is a very attractive restaurant, clean and comfortable. The parking in downtown Broken Arrow is a pain. Dos Banditos, a pleasant surprise. Be there for lunch! read more

Located right in the heart of the Rose District in BA, Dos Bandidos serves up a delicious assortment of both traditional and modern Mexican dishes. We tried it out for a little Taco Tuesday and loved EVERYTHING about our visit. Their guac was so fresh, and my child was literally eating it with a spoon. We also shared the Crab and Shrimp Nachos and the house-favorite Culichi Shrimp, which had the best flavor with a little kick. And you know our fam had to get dessert, and I'm still dreaming about those Churros and Sopapillas. In addition to their incredible food, the dining room has a gorgeous display of street art and murals, and they've got a great patio space. Dos Bandidos is open 7 days a week, for lunch and dinner (plus a weekend brunch!), and they host a Happy Hour every M-TH with drink and appetizer specials. read more

This place has negative coituses to give for dietary restrictions. Stay far away if you have any dietary restrictions. Recently a friend and I ordered two vegan meals, which they assured they could provide. What we received though was absolutely not vegan, not what was promised and not what we paid for. The containers, were labeled "vegan" (IJBOL) but what we received was certainly not. We each received jack fruit tacos (I'm assuming they were vegan but am not even 15% certain of that as I had horrible heart burn and GI issues after the meal. A scoop of rice and a scoop of beans. As if to make 100% sure we knew Dos Bandidos has negative coituses to give, the beans had a handy sprinkle of cheese atop the bean scoop. Then the rice, I (as well as other vegan friends) have been told several times by several servers at this spot that the rice is cooked with chicken stock. I think this point needs reiteration: This place will tell you they can accommodate dietary restrictions, with a straight face, gladly take your money, and then deliver you absolute horse poopoo. What if I was more severely allergic to dairy? What if we were kosher or halal? Zero coituses given. BTW, the jack fruit tacos taste remarkably like the inside of your mouth; bland af, flavourless, it didn't even look interesting. Even if the vegan tacos were good, who would put lard laden, cheese topped beans and chicken stock boiled rice in a container labeled "vegan?" Showerbags. Only a very mean spirited, ignorant, or lazy person would care so little about their job that they'd have so few coituses to give that they risk allegies, offending religious groups, etc., or the management, supervision, or qc is all or posses a smorgasbord of the qualities listed above. I will not be ordering from this place again. I will make certain that those with dietary restrictions, and those who will have us in attendance, continue to use those caterers who accept our money and in exchange provide that which they've agreed to provide, and accepted US currency in exchange for that provision. read more

My friends and I tried this location for the first time. I've been to the other locations and always liked it but wanted to try out this one since it's close to home. The three of us all tried different meals and each of us really enjoyed it they are a little pricey but I guess that's everywhere. I like that their Mexican food is a little different but fresh made to order and good service. we went on Tuesday so they were having $1 tacos which made things even better. read more

Disappointing experience, bad service. Came here on a Saturday with another couple and had high hopes for some yummy Mexican food but it was disappointing overall. First, even though there were several tables open, they seated us by the door and it was crazy cold. But, ok, it's January, put a margarita in my hand and I'll probably smile and soldier on. Unfortunately, that's when things really went downhill. The waitress came by our table took one drink order and walked away before the rest of us could say a word. Then she disappeared for a long time, finally dropped off the 1 drink saying "back in a minute" and disappeared again so the 3 of us still couldn't order. Once she came back, we quickly ordered drinks and food for fear we'd never get another chance. My husband and my food came pretty quickly, before the drinks even made it to the table. Then his margarita flight showed up. Then a few minutes later, my margarita. A few minutes after that, our friend's drink. About 5 minutes later, the other couple's food. I don't know how if they were understaffed but it felt like 1 person was running back and forth making a drink, then a meal, then another drink, and so forth. I had the chicken chipotle tacos and they were good. My husband liked his red tacos and enjoyed the margarita flight. I thought my house margarita was too sweet and nothing special. All in all, there are a lot of other good Mexican restaurants in the area and we're unlikely to go back here. read more

If I could give a negative star I would! My son and I went here got his birthday, he saw they had good reviews oh how they lied! First off we sat ourselves, their policy, it then took 10 minutes for the server to notice us. And another 10 to get our drinks brought out. He ordered the Chimichanga, which we know is fried, however we did not expect that the first cut into it would pour out grease! Second one ended up squirting grease on his shirt. I ordered the Chile Relleno and boy was that a mistake! I love this dish but they destroyed it. First it says it flourless BATTER! Translation-- is in an egg wrap, which was extremely over cooked and scorched. It was just disgusting. Ended up not eating it and they removed it from the bill, the one thing they did correctly. The staff is incredibly nice from the moment you walk in the door. Ample seating, well spaced out and nicely decorated. The menu and drink menu is small but versatile. I confess I felt badgered to order immediately by the bartender and having not been here before, had no idea what I/we wanted to eat or drink. There was no wait/no line out the door/ like there were maybe 5 other tables going....... I really don't understand the pushiness here in Tulsa/Bixby/Broken Arrow when acquiring food from places???? Like explain this and it's not ALL PLACES, but enough so far that I'm seeing it and noting it in my brain to not go back to these places or take anyone I know there or recommend them. After feeling pushed to just order something to make him stop I ordered a drink and then my husband made up his mind and ordered one as well. He was happy with his, mine was alright. The chips and salsa were ok, nothing to write home about. The crispy tacos were ok, again nothing stands out to return for them. The rice was rice, but I asked for no rice..... but got all rice. I politely explained I didn't want the rice but did want the beans and they were good. My husband had the el donkey burrito, it was good. Starting off with chips and salsa as usual, you can ask for a couple other varieties that dominate the regular you start with. SPICY AND YUM! Okay, back to this gargantuan burrito. If you want a road trip to L.A. without leaving Oklahoma come here. Their take on Cali style Mexican is on par with what I've eaten out west. It's so yummy, big and ya! Yummy and Big! I didn't try any of the margaritas there yet but I want to try a flight when I go back. I've heard the mango is really good here. I loved that they gave each of us our own salsa for the chips & salsa. Very convenient. The nachos were pretty good! Not as smothered as I would have hoped. The bandidos bowl was good.
