Water and Dr Pepper I was having fun playing with camera features with the window view.
LeAnn H.

This is our first time coming here. I got the ranch burger - 1/2 pound burger chargrilled to order on a toasted brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle slices. Choice of fries or sweet potato fries. Add cheese + $1 (American/Cheddar/Swiss/Pepper Jack) with Fries The burger was very juicy, I ordered the burger medium rare, and was happy with the cook. (So many times a burger is over cooked) The fries were good, a little over salty to me but I do low salt. The view inside was nice and out the huge windows was the golf course that is beautiful. Staff was amazing, waiter constantly checked to make sure we didn't need anything and things were ok. Automatically filled our drinks anytime he saw them getting low. For burgers, fries and a drink each for 2 people cost without a tip was $28.43. Not bad price at all for good food. Will be back sometime to try the dinner menus.

Fish Friday Special - Sea Bass

We have never not had a great experience at the Ranch House. We especially love to go on "Fish Fridays". My husband and I have tried many dishes on the lunch and dinner menu and were pleasantly surprised with them all! The only knock we have is that every time we want to order a wine bottle, they almost never have the ones we want in stock (even though they are still on the menu). Overall, very friendly staff and fabulous food!

Chicken salad blackened

It's beautifully decorated for the holidays. Service was good. Nice quiet place to have a meeting. Fried chicken on the salad was bland and the breading kept falling off. I wouldn't order it again.

Fly number one!

I have never been more grossed out in my life! A semi fine dining restaurant, with dozens of flies flying around. On your food, getting in your drinks. Why is it not a priority to get rid of these disgusting creatures in a restaurant of this caliber? I had food that tasted pretty good, but, I couldn't eat it because these bugs were everywhere! On my plate, in my food, in my drink and all over the table and in the air zipping by my head! I simply could not enjoy my food and had to leave! What a horrible first visit!

Fresh hand battered onion rings

My wife and I had to give Rocking "R" Ranch House Restaurant a try for lunch today. It is located in the Forest Ridge golf course clubhouse. The restaurant is open to the public with American style food. We arrived at about 1:30 and was a little apprehensive when we found ourselves the only customers. Our waitress was very courteous and attentive during our stay. My wife had the crispy chicken salad, I had the chef salad and we shared an order of onion rings. We both received a very large salad with fresh crisp mixed greens, cherry tomatoes and boiled egg. The chicken was cooked to perfection, crisp coating over a tender and juicy chicken strips. The onion rings were very tasty as well. We were both pleased with our meals and service. We will be back to take advantage of the dinner menu. This restaurant does adhere to local COVID requirements

The fly was promptly dispatched with prejudice! I have not had a really good Club sandwich in years. I was craving one. A club sandwich is one of those safety meals, you order when travelling and stop to eat at an unfamiliar diner. They are pretty hard to screw up. They can be very good or average, but seldom really bad. I was just in the mood for one. The most reliable place to find a Club Sandwich is always at a golf course "club" house restaurant or snack bar. The great waitress delivered a photogenic, diner menu picture, master piece, of a Club Sandwich; on the plate with delicious crispy fries. Excellent! Hankering assuaged! The Crispy Chicken Salad..... My wife was reporting favorably on the fried chicken before she had hardly finished the first bite. The salad was fresh mixed greens with egg, tomato, bacon, cheese, onion and of course, three just out of the fryer, chicken strips. She chose to dress the salad with what appeared to be house made ranch dressing. Great salad. The dining area is large and comfortable with a view of the course. You can enjoy the view or watch whatever sport happens to be on one of the big screen TVs. Very good service A very pleasant lunch experience! Some golfer let a pesky freaking fly into the restaurant. The fly was fast and persistent, but not fast enough......

We started off with cocktails and both were fantastic. We hit the flow state with fries and the Caesar salad and immediately yes to both. For 7 bucks you get a ton of fries and the Caesar was the perfect touch. We paired these two items with their Savy Blanc and it was crispy and refreshing. Moving on to the mains, the burger (dare I say) might give Tina's a run for their money. It was cooked perfectly and with all the elements of a perfect smash burger. The salmon was fantastic but my greedy self wished it was bigger cause it was that good. As a whole, vintage wine bar is becoming one of my favorite spots in Tulsa. The wine and cocktail list is thoughtfully put together, and there are some interesting choices worth exploring. The small plates were tasty and paired nicely with the drinks, though not everything was especially memorable. Service was friendly and knowledgeable when engaged, but at times it took a bit longer to get attention than expected. Still, its a nice spot to unwind, especially if youre in the mood to try something a little different without too much pressure.

There is an abundance of wine to choose from. Our server was rushed (and they were packed) and I didn't get a lot of direction on the wine so I just ordered a white sampler and just asked for three dry varieties. The first one I tried (Collan) was not dry in my opinion. The Triple was drier but my favorite was the Fume. I really got hints of pinion in this final one and ordered another 5 oz. of it. We tried the avocado bruschetta to start. It was four big pieces of good bread but was more avocado toast than bruschetta. I would probably go with a different appetizer next time. We both tried the burgers. I went with the mushroom-gouda one. It was over done and not seasoned at all. The gouda was nice and gooey and the mushrooms were seasoned well. Fries were OK. The table next to us had a couple of the flatbreads and I would try those next time. Back to the service. It was OK but our server had a tendency to just show up at our table and just stand. I would come back to try more appetizers and a flight of their red offerings. I also want to know more about the winery. Maybe after the busy holidays.

No signs declare its existence. My wife and I found ourselves there for a meeting with her coworkers, one of whom has been a longtime frequenter of this establishment and recommended it as the site for the group's monthly dinner. She had made the reservation (required, for parties of at least 15) and had also been the one to choose our meal. I'm told the business can accommodate for many different allergies or diets and that they have a wide selection of meats, vegetables/sides, and desserts from which you can take your pick. The dining hall is in a nondescript white building across from the main house. It is far from fancy in keeping with the lifestyle of its proprietors. As in tin-metal walls, concrete floor, and gas-powered lights/heat. Metal folding chairs flank two long rows of folding tables covered in plastic tablecloths; our party of 12 sat in one row with a few seats to spare. The atmosphere is that of having a Sunday supper after church with kinfolk at grandma's. The (rather adorable) children of the (hardworking) women preparing and serving our food played along the borders of the room and ran through the doors, the air ringing with their laughter. Drinks (water or unsweetened tea only) were served as we arrived. Once everyone was present the food came out family-style - one large platter or bowl at a time, passed from one person to another. And now what you've all been waiting for: the food! The coleslaw wasn't very good; then again, I'm not a coleslaw fan and so might not be a good judge of it. The green beans could've come from a can for all the good they tasted. And the roast was dry, tasteless. That's where the negatives end. The baked chicken was tender/moist/juicy, all those words that make some people uncomfortable when talking period, let alone about food. The mashed potatoes were creamy, the white gravy perfectly rich, the country noodles expertly flavored, and the turkey dressing pure cheesy goodness. I can't forget the rolls, too, which when paired with homemade apple butter were the best I've ever had. After a brief rest to digest, we were served one kind of coffee and two kinds of pie - cherry and coconut cream. The cherry pie filling reminded me of a Pop-Tart but more intense, which wasn't a bad thing at all. Typically I don't like even the word coconut unless it's followed by "rum and pineapple juice", but that particular pie was delicious. It may have made me a convert. I haven't mentioned the service, but it was fantastic. Glasses never more than half-empty before being refilled. Constant questions of whether we needed anything else. Smiling faces and good conversation. We ate until we were stuffed and several people took home heaping to-go boxes, yet there was still a ton left of each food item. On the way out I picked up a loaf of banana but bread from the bakery side. The damage to my wallet for all of this? $27.59! Yep. All-you-can-eat comfort food for two in a place that feels like home for under $30. I'm definitely going back. Just as soon as I can round up 10-12 likeminded foodies so I can make a reservation.
