Fantastic experience this place it's absolutely amazing, we ordered quite a few different items and we were impressed with food and drinks. Staff hospitality was great. Bleached Store bought Tortilla's. SteakFajita meal was brought out early and incomplete. Received the other half of the meal with about 8 mins later with the rest of the tables entrees. Fajita was cold. Beautiful restaurant but you would expect homemade from the ambiance; not to be served processed store bought low quality food. El Senor Salsa is genuinely my husband's and my favorite Mexican restaurant. I guess you could say we're semi-regulars. It's the place we bring family when they come visit. The experience and service are always wonderful! The staff is friendly, the queso is truly the best, and they 100% have my favorite margaritas I've ever had at a restaurant. They're also very reasonably priced. I've never ordered anything I didn't like here. They also have a drive-through for call-ahead ordering. We love this for grabbing dinner to take home. The food was awful. My queso was cold. My food came out wrong. When I sent it back and when they brought it back out, I got a smaller portion than I started with. The manager, Juan, came to ask how everything was. Once I said I was having issues he was rude to me and made me feel like I was the problem and not the quality of the food. Won't go back. read more

We were seated right away on a Friday. My husband ordered the enchiladas Mexicanas which was super good. I am going to order that next time. I had the combo fajitas. The chicken and beef was tender and not over cooked the green peppers and onions were not soggy. There were bits that were on the burner a bit longer or it would have been 5 stars. In their defense it was left on a skillet. The tomato was not visible because it was cooked to long. In result, we will eat there again and try more menu items. I will recommend to others. Update: The next time I went with my daughter. She had the chicken taco salad and I had the burrito special. We both ordered margaritas. Everything was great. Ordered a molcajete, personally we thought it was overpriced. I like when the meat is cut up too, its not worth the $28 dollars though. Too overpriced, it's crazy lol. we usually order that at restaurants but have never paid that much for one and they've been bigger too. We aren't cheap, it's just not worth that price and the chicken was the only good part, meat was hard to bite and missing flavor, shrimp not very great. Try something different don't get that. For some tasty Mexican fare in Coweta, visit Señor Salsa's. Starting off with a trio of salsas: they bring two red salsas which are quiet similar to the table with chips. I had been informed of a really good hot salsa which I asked for. It's green and much spicier than the other two and was my favorite of the three. We also ordered the medium bowl of queso ($4.50) which was great as an appetizer and with our entrees. A mini pitcher of margarita is $9.75 and filled each of our glasses twice, which is a great deal in my opinion. They didn't overload it with sweet and sour, and I thought they were nicely balanced in flavor. The Chile rellanos have white cheese inside and you can either have chicken, fajita beef or queso on top. The beef was good and I would order it again unless I opted to try something new. The carnitas dinner was delicious as well - the pork was tender and had great flavor to it. I would recommend this as a great dish as well. If you live in the area or are just passing through, Señor Salsa's is a great choice for lunch or dinner. read more

My waiter did not acknowledge us. Sat us at a table for six when there were only two of us and an empty booth less than a foot away. We again went ignored for fifteen minuting waiting to order. Once we ordered my boyfriend said he saw our waiter leave the establishment completely. We sat without or food or refills for close to fifteen minutes again. By the time we received it, it was cold and gross. The lady that took over our table was kind and underspoken. Maybe at another time this restaurant is pleasant. Been here many times and always felt it was average and certainly acceptable. Recently, appears they have a new manager, things have been trending worse however and I finally got mad enough on Saturday night to do something about it. Paid my tab in full before expressing my disgust as I'm not the type to ask for a discount for a bad experience. I then proceeded to explain to the current manager who sits behind the register (very appropriately I might mention since he seems all about the $$). He didn't ask how I liked my meal or service but I felt compelled to tell him anyway. I was there with my family (8 of us) and was seated in the larger dining area. Unbeknownst to us it was apparently "drunk night" at Sr Salsa as there were 3 tables of rebels who were drinking heavily and unbelievably loud. So much so that the waitress was very shaken and appeared clueless as to how to handle the situation. Our Queso had to be returned twice because it was not hot (barely room temp and just warm next time) and service was slow and dysfunctional. Meanwhile old money grubber (aka the new manager) actually left his post behind the register to keep bringing out the long-necks and mixed drinks to the drunks who only got successively louder with each new round. He was smiling like a cheshire cat as the booze tab was escalating. Numerous other guests however were not so amused or pleased with this continued practice and in short the meal was ruined. After I communicated my angst he apologized and said he was sorry they were out of control to which I responded "it's your fault cause you kept flowing the booze to these people and didn't stop it". I could tell he was more pleased with the size of their drink tab than my $80 bill so all was fair in his book. I left by telling him he needed to decide if he was running a bar or a restaurant but he couldn't have it both ways. Bring back the old manager and get the greedy guy gone. read more

2 days ago, beat tired, I decided to order take out. I've been going for 17 years. They know my order. So my fault I didn't check it. Got home, sure enough not my order. Went back, no longer wanting to eat. Asked for a refund. He gives me cash instead of credit back on card. I said I left a $3 tip and need $3. I was assured he would not enter the tip. I called once home and asked him to remove the tip and he reassured me it won't be added. Well, it was added. Extremely mad on the phone and he actually said "it's only $3 it doesn't matter". WTF? I said it matters to me and I will come get it. Owner didn't bother to put the phone down even when other customers were waiting to pay. I walked in and he handed me a $5, still phone in hand and said nothing. After 17 years of loyalty, less food quality, rudeness & basically in my opinion stealing...I'm done. I will never go back. So that's 2 restaurants in Coweta I no longer will go to. read more
