We went on Sunday afternoon close to 1pm. The place was pretty packed but we were able get seats at the bar immediately. We were greeted immediately and we ordered two mimosas which came out promptly and very tasty. The place was filled with lively charter and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. The menu had a nice variety and it was difficult to choose. Originally I wanted a waffle but I love eggs benedict and I love smoked salmon. So I ended up getting that dish. The man got the chicken and waffles. My dish was good except the hollandaise sauce was a little off (kind of had a slightly bitter taste) the salmon was good and eggs were perfect. The man said the waffles were good but the chicken was meh (kind of dry and flavorless); I concur because I always taste hi food. The hash browns were good and again the mimosas were great. I'm glad Forney has another breakfast/brunch spot. We'll go back and try out other dishes (the burgers looked amazing) and more mimosas. We spent about $75 with tip. read more

Eh. It was OK. Had the steak Benedict with brunch potatoes and a side of sausage patties. Eggs were poached perfectly the steak was cooked to my desired temp. The potatoes were just fried diced potatoes nothing special. Wish they put a sear on the sausage patties and not just baked. Service was good and the restaurant was clean and neat. Probably try it again after seeing the other breakfast places in Forney. read more

Great new brunch place in town. Glad there is finally another one to help alleviate from the only other place in town. I expected a wait for how new it is, but there was no wait at all! Great friendly and speedy staff! Food is good too! Very similar to other places in town. Their menu isn't very large, but they for sure cover all the necessary breakfast and lunch items. This place was so good! The service, food and drinks were all amazing. We def stayed here for hours until they closed and tried so many drinks. The espresso martini was very good and so was the breakfast shot. I ordered the chorizo skillet and it was so good. The service was great and the vibes were everything. Pleasantly surprised by this new brunch/lunch spot in Forney! We came on a Saturday- prime time- and I can see this place getting crazy soon once the word gets out more. Kinda like nearby Nina's- wish they would do something to the ceiling perhaps to improve the ambient noise. We shared the chicken fried chicken with a light scramble and crispy hashbrowns and a bagel egg sammich with several espresso aka cappuccino martini and the abulelita cafe with (Tito's not tequila). All of our food came out fast and as requested; we liked the homemade "30 brunch" hot sauce (very mild but good flavor) we bought a bottle for $7. Reminded Lorenzo it's important to introduce himself as the bartender- young kid did a great job overall and we chose to sit at the bar despite available seating. The atmosphere is great, the food was tasty and on par with plenty of other brunch places. Giving it 3 stars though because the service was very slow. I think we got unlucky but my wife and I sat for an hour for our food. (Came in around 9:45 to try and beat the church crowd) I saw 3 different tables of 3-4 people come in, order, get their food and eat before we got ours. The food is good. We've been there 5 times. We went to the other breakfast joint in Forney & got in a discussion with 4 families that we're waiting. We & two other families all mentioned how hot it is in 30. It wasn't one day; everyone has noticed it. I told our waitress & she agreed. Every time we go there we leave sweating. I don't think leaving the thermostats up so much is saving them as much as they think. I was there the day they opened & was hoping it would improve, but the place is pretty warm. Enough that three famil didn't go back. On Sundays, people go eat after Church. I'm actually hoping the restaurant addresses this b/c they Would do much better. The location is great. If you fix it; word will get back around. read more

Fresh and tasty. I am a big fan of tzatziki sauce and theirs was very good. The owner Emmanuel came by and we chatted for a bit about the food. He seems to take great care in how the food is prepared and takes an interest in his guest experiences. He recommended for dessert we try the Galaktoboureko.
