Okay. Food tasty. Margarita was pretty subpar tho. My complaint easily fixable. Asked for cheese sauce and got a tablespoonful. the salsa was ok but needed a kick so thought about using Chalula added but asked for some hot sauce. I used a tablespoon to spice up the salsa. They charged me $ 2.50 for the hot sauce. Really??? Really folks? No one does that Fixable but really insulting. You can do most things right but why piss off a customer ?:). Good luck read more

Overpriced I swear I saw a dead fly in my food it was chunky and gross super soggy I went there 2 times to give it a second chance but this is pigs slop I took it home the dog wouldn't eat it not even my pigs did I mention how bland it is the cheese dip is runny and has no flavor it's YELLOW if in not mistaken there was spit in my food idk the cheese dip had white bubbles in it I now have food poisoning and I threw up in there bathroom for 30 minutes and when I got home let me say there was runny brown poop in my toilet runnier then the cheese dip and I called the plumber bc it was clogged and he couldn't even fix it so I had to replace my toilet and the sewer system 10k down the drain but my drain doesn't work when they took the toilet out the poop when all over my new bathroom $200 for cleaners they charged extra for the cleaners since it was so bad my bathroom flooded I then had diarrhea for the next three weeks!!! I couldn't even drink my beer without crapping myself! This food nasty!!! read more

Friendly and efficient service featured our stop here. The portions were a great value for the price. My burrito loco was very good. If you get the nachos appetizer, you'll have a bigger meal than anyone at the table. It doesn't look like much from the outside (although nicely decorated), but it's a gem inside. read more

It was pretty good. I had the papa fajitas, which was decent until I hit a major mold spot that took up almost half the potato. It was visible on the outside of the skin so that was a little off putting. The toppings were good. My son's fries had a huge amount of seasoned salt on them, and by the time I got him a plain cheese quesadilla, he wasn't hungry any more. (Three year olds aren't great at being reasonable..) The mixed drink was good but kind of watered down. All in all, pretty good. They do need to work on their salsa. It's underwhelming. read more

This is a great little gem that we visited while enjoying Echo Bluff State Park a few miles north of here. We found very friendly service and very good food and really enjoyed the surprise of a solid Mexican restaurant in this small river town. We got the guacamole (prepared table side - cool!) and the "number one ordered thing on the menu" Arroz Rios. (From the menu: "our delicious fajitas steak, chicken, shrimp and grilled veggies served over a bed of rice and covered in cheese dip".) both were made with fresh ingredients and I would definitely order again. Any constructive criticism I have would be directed to the house salsa as it was definitely uninspired. Although the ingredients were fresh it was basically giant chunks of chopped tomato swimming in the watery tomato runoff. There was very little seasoning if any. Overall, while it's certainly not a 'five-star restaurant' it is definitely a five star review in it's category. read more

First off we pulled up in outlaw country which should've been a sign to turn around because what genuine Mexican restaurant is going to be back in "outlaw" country.. cheese dip was $9 and not only was that bad ENOUGH we paid CASH and got charged CARD pricing. My husband and I ate here on a Sunday at dinner time. There were two large groups, but the restaurant was mostly empty besides that. Both of our dishes were cold, even the queso, beans, and rice. It seems like they just threw cold food on a plate and served it to us. We received our meals within 3 min of ordering, so that had to be the case. I had a margarita and it tasted entirely like marg mix with no alcohol. A local told us that the food is hit or miss depending on who's cooking. I recommend eating at the Dairy Shack down the road. read more

Visited during the festival last weekend and was pretty satisfied. I believe my Chile relleno had been previously frozen due to its softness and freezer taste. Everything else was pretty good. We ordered the carnitas also and they were good. Morgan was our server and she was fantastic. Very attentive and very knowledgeable. She answered every tourist question we threw her way. Awful... Unfortunately we had little choice for dining as we were in the middle of nowhere. The cheese dip we ordered was cold, however we had just come off the river from canoeing so we were starving and we ate the cheese dip anyways. I ordered a single chicken burrito, which was average at best. He ordered the T-bone steak, a ribeye was delivered, we sent it back. We ordered it medium rare, it arrived at our table medium well because it was paper thin. It was tough and barely edible. We also ordered coffee, it was army green in color, which was a first for us... The atmosphere was fun and festive, the food was terrible. But it's that or Ruby's T & T on up the road, we also ate there, I'd say it was much better but not too much... read more

We walked in the door with our children and it took several agonizing minutes for any employee to acknowledge that we were waiting to be seated (like the sign said). While we waited, what I assumed were locals, seemed to be glancing at us and talking and laughing about us. Maybe I'm wrong about this. We did get fair service and good food after the horrible first impression. I drink a lot of tea with my dinner and only got one refill. Needless to say I finished off my kids water. To summarize, if you want customer service with good food go somewhere else. If you don't care about the service and you just want good Mexican food, go for it. read more

I have eaten here many times. Friendly service and great food! They have an outdoor patio and tie-ups out front for your horse. This is a horse friendly area!!!! Would highly recommend it for families, horse riders, campers, river floaters and just plane hungry people!!!! I think it's the best restaurant in Eminence!!!! read more
