There's not a lot of choices of Korean food in the area and had a big craving for some kimbap. This place popped up on my search result so I decided to pay it a visit. The café is located in a strip mall. I walked into a cozy cafe, ABBA playing on the speakers, an eclectic mix of Ramen, Korean memorabilia toys, and games. It felt like I was transported into an authentic Korean shop of yesteryear. I think I hit the jackpot! Was hungry and excited so I did not pay attention to any of the signs and just walked up to the register to order . The wonderful aroma coming from behind the counter made my mouth water. Then the lady, in stern grandma fashion asked if I wrote down my order? Dang it, hunger pangs - was not prepared! Should've read the directions. I quickly wrote down "Kimbap and mandu". This was followed by an even sterner "what kind? And you know you should have called this in bc now you have to wait." Shoot double unprepared! Outsiders might find this rude or offensive, but you have to keep an open mind when trying authentic cultural cuisine. I knew that my food was going be amazing! Boy was I correct! Kimbap was one of the best I had! I don't have to drive downtown for some authentic Korean food. Highly recommend the food and great place if you are looking for a quiet lunch. For those who are closed minded and entitled this might not be your scene. Definitely would be back again - this time more prepared of course.

We all cleared our plates! So good!

So good! The beef bulgogi was to notch! Great dinner and portions were a good size. Food was out quick and the kimchi and pickled radishes were so good!

    Dirty Floors!

Food is good, but tables and floors were really dirty. Floor looks like it hasn't been mopped in years!

Dosirak is a hit with my family. The food is delicious and the ambience is cozy and personable. There's always a different snack for us to try when we go. We love getting the Kimbap and cupbap but recently tried the kimchi-jjigae since it's cold out and it's 10/10. The owner Ms.Kim is a gem and knows whats shes doing!

Very lovely mom and pop Korean restaurant! From a first impression, this restaurant is unassuming. Food is served on plastic trays. There's styrofoam water cups. Very simple and straightforward decor. But the food and owners were phenomenal! The food is comforting and tasty. You can tell that it was homemade with care. The ambiance was very inviting, warm, and personable. And I think that is what keeps customers coming back. The Dosirak lunchbox was a great deal! You get a combo of meat, rice, kimchi, tempura, dumplings, and the side dish of the day. The spicy pork was to die for!! Def my favorite! And the portions were very filling. The side of the day we received was a cheesecake eggroll- very interesting but good! We also got an order of dumplings, which were 10 for $8. Amazing deal and very tasty! There's also a mini grocery store inside the restaurant. There's a small selection of Asian snacks, such as ramen, chips, cookies, ice cream. I'm so glad I stumbled across this gem!

Good food and the price is just right for the amount of food you order. I will take my friends and family here without hesitation.

I loved it. Tasted like the sonic lemon cream slushie. I drank the whole thing and it was worth the money for sure. We shared a gyoza appetizer, and it was great. They were perfectly crispy on the bottom with soft texture on top. The sauce was a bit sweeter than a normal gyoza sauce, but it was pretty good, and one member of our party really liked it. I got the Tonkatsu ramen, and it was better quality than your average American ramen! The chashu was perfect with a slight crisp to it, the noodles were springy, and I enjoyed the addition of the bok choy. It was also the perfect amount of food. I'm actually sad this isn't in my local area. I had a great meal here and would highly recommend.

It does come with a sauce which helps, but I wish the chicken itself was also seasoned. As for entree I ordered the spare rib ramen. Again, the fried spare ribs lacked seasoning, but the fry was well done. The ramen was very light, almost too light in my opinion for a true ramen broth. The chili oil they have though is delicious and improved the taste of the soup a lot.

This right here is the most authentic and delicious Korean bites you can get in the Magnolia area!!…read moreWe ordered half Yangyeom(gochujang based sweet and spicy sauce) and Pringle(Korean cheese dry rub seasoning) chicken. The Pringle flavor is not overly sweet and has a balanced cheese flavor which is very addicting!! The Yangyeom flavor was the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and had a nice garlic kick to it. I would recommend asking for the sauce on the side if you're taking it home!! I still enjoyed the wings 100%, but they were a bit soggy. That is 100% on us as we didn't account for the extended period of time to get home due to traffic. Every piece of chicken was super juicy and cooked thoroughly!!! Now the heavy hitter on the menu was the bulgogi fries. The fries were super crispy despite being smothered in bulgogi, kimchi, and sauces. These are possibly the BEST loaded fries I've ever had. The kimchi on these fries was one of the best I've had. It wasn't overly salted, had a perfect crunch, and had a nice spicy kick to it. Overall the bulgogi, kimchi, crispy fries, and the sauces are the perfect combination for that Korean American fusion dish!!! The restaurant itself is pretty small, but they do have a seating area!! When we ordered it was only Mr. Park in the kitchen so please be mindful of that. You'll have to wait a few minutes as each order is made fresh to order and it takes time to cook these items. If you don't want to wait I recommend calling ahead and ordering so that the food will be ready when you arrive. The parking area is also a bit limited so be mindful of that as well!!! Overall I'm so happy there is a great Korean fried chicken spot here in magnolia and I don't have to drive out to Houston or Katy!!!!
