Little hole in the wall pizza casino. Their garlic bread was good their pizza wasn't bad. It is very laid back. We ordered water extra ice. Their water in a self dispenser that has water and ice in it. So we got water, no ice. Dont know how their root beer float was since they were out of root beer. I am giving it three stars because I really wanted Ice water, not no ice water. Pizza wasn't bad, yet I have had better. We don't gamble so don't know anything about that.

I love this little casino! You can play games at the bar, get comped beers they make in house and have a fresh made pizza delivered to your game! Everyone is so nice especially the bartender Shaun. We try to stop in this cool little casino whenever we pass by!

Meat lovers pizza, wings, and nice beers.

Great pizza. I mean really great. We got a medium meat lovers. Crust just tight. Took 3 pieces home. The wings were tender and meaty and tasty house brewed beer. I loved the Pub Ale. Service was excellent. Outside patio. Lots of on-site parking.

Got to Blackhawk mid afternoon and there were not many food options open, we hit the trolley and found Dostal Alley, it was seat yourself and order at the window and get a number, so We sat in the booths inside cause the patio was packed. We ordered the wings and a large house pizza with no olives. The workers were super nice, the food did take a while but it was super fresh! Not bad for an afternoon bite

Main Street staple! Casino, brewpub, and pizza joint! We almost always get the house pizza without black olives. It never fails. Nice folks work there and the pizza guy is lightning fast. Super fun place that I recommend to all my friends.

Little hole in the wall brewery/casino. Was passing through Black Hawk and decided to stop in for a quick beer and a bite. Beers were very tasty. Pizza was decent. Didn't get a chance to play any slots!

Hey Players, babies and haters... Head to Dostal Alley for some great food and homemade brew!

Hey Players, babes and haters. Let me just say I love this place, the easy atmosphere, the smell of pizza cooking, the loose machines. Especially love the owners, Steve and Lisa, their real. A local joint with homemade beer, cream soda and root beer, it doesn't try to be anything its not. Cheers!

Great place to enjoy a personal pizza, wings or a Stromboli. Small casino inside to play while you wait for food. Kid friendly unlike the other casinos that won't even let you pass thru to get something to eat. Great local beer too.

    Cream soda.

I have NEVER seen a breakfast burrito look like that. It was HORRIBLE!!!! We scraped the green stuff off and did our best to eat it (I hate wasting food). I picked the egg and some of the hash browns out from the inside and that was all I could stomach.....I'm paying for it today The Manager was RUDE and said that because my husband ate more of his (inside mainly) he wasn't going to take it off.....really?!? He didn't offer us anything else and basically tried blaming us and the Server.....we will NEVER go back. There was a young girl who ordered her food to go and her hash browns were burnt. Back in the day, this place was always packed. Tonight, during the dinner hours, they had SEVEN tables. We paid $4.00 for a glass of soda that we didn't even get a refill on. Avoid this place!!!

The service was fast for removing our plates, and in some cases, maybe even a little too fast! The food is refilled quickly, and the fresher options are out there. Monarch Buffet was recommended as the best in Black Hawk, so we decided to go there for our 42ed anniversary. We used the valet parking that was nice and went directly to the buffet to eat. The wait was about 15 minutes, and we were seated close to all the food that was nice. My wife enjoys lobster so after having some salad we got in line at the buffet to get our food. We were very disappointed in the lobster tails, cut in half, not much to eat and not what we expected. We enjoyed the crab legs but were a little bit soft and hard to split and eat but, very tasty. We ordered a bottle of white wine, but when the waiter brought it to our table, he had difficulty getting the cork out of the bottle. I suggested he get some help. When he went for help, i used the corkscrew and opened the bottle. I know he was just a waiter but tried very hard to get the cork out of the bottle. The bottle of wine was only $35, but the waiter kept come back to our table asking me to pay for the bottle of wine. I told him I would pay for it at the end of our dinner, but he continued to ask, so after about 6 requests I paid him and told him I would add his tip at the end of the end of the dinner. Funny he left and he never returned leaving dirty plates on the table. the service was not what I expected, dirty plates sat on our table and had to ask that they were removed. We did enjoy some of the food on the buffet, but when I went to get some prime rib, they were out but were cooking more of it. Someone came to our table later and offer use some well-done prime rib, who eat well-done prime rib... later the waiter came and told us they would be closing the buffet in 15 minutes, which was a big surprise. We were only about 2/3 done with eating, had wine still left in the bottle. When i went back to the buffet I could see they were starting to put things away. I came back to our table, and I told my wife she needed to get more food if she wanted it. We have taken many of cruises and Las Vegas trips, but this was very surprising to me. I went to get some deserts, but all of them had been removed and they did not offer to get me one for me. Looked like they were closing up to go home. I thought management must be tuff of them if they don't do this. We enjoy going out to eat and travel a lot in our retirement and can afford what we desire. What we experienced at the Monarch was well below our expectations. I had told my wife that we should come up and spend the night, and she could enjoy the SPA. I just kept the $500 I had brought to gamble with, tipped the valet and went home thinking I would never come back again... Walt and Sue

I went on a fairly busy Saturday night, hoping that would lead to a hot, fresh, well replenished experience. It didn't really result in that, sadly. Customer service was pleasant. The chefs were friendly and helpful and our server was great. I thought the iced tea and coffee were both delicious. Taco meat was quite tasty and I appreciated the cookies on the dessert bar were held at a warm temperature. Some things weren't refilled ever during our leisurely visit of 1 1/2 hours: Certain desserts, sides, salsas and accoutrements like chips at the Mexican bar. Each station seemed pretty lacking on variety. Some offerings were kind of lukewarm, like the fried shrimp and mashed potatoes. Would I return? Definitely not during a peak priced meal time. Maybe during lunch or something while visiting the casino. I love variety so I love buffets, even though quality does often lack. However, if you have visited buffets off and on, you learn that some have fresher, hotter, well stocked offerings and others don't. This one wasn't terrible but was pretty meh and disappointing over all. Also a note to this buffet's management. Wynn's buffet in Las Vegas is only $39.99 for a Saturday night. Yours was 34.99. Wynn also didn't have the widest variety but had quite a bit more than yours as well as fresher and gourmet offerings for just $5 more. I feel strongly that you could do better for this price point and I'm rooting for improvements!
