They brought two pallets products from newyork to los angeles. And they charged me 2 times more than the quote they gave me. They were saying All dimensions and weight were wrong. Actually we had the pic of when they picked up from the warehouse and bringing to the truck. Doesn't matter what I said they still charged me. Not sure why the customer service person I spoke with still has her job. Rude, accusatory (My fault? Really?) and pretty much insulting. I will be double checking with vendors about who they ship with on all future purchases just to make sure these guys are not the shipper. I am spending way too much time and energy just trying to get information about over-due shipments on goods I have already paid for. Even 1 star is too much. I shipped an item at cost price of $880 (to me) the shipping cost was over $400. They damaged the shipment and reimbursed me $45!!! Not a typo $45 dollars. The service is terrible, they don't take care of your freight and this is what you get when they damage your goods. Avoid at all costs! read more

Same thing that happened to Natalie M also happened to me! My broker tried scheduling these amateurs to do a shipment and the following all occurred: 1. Late pickup 2. Late delivery 3. Products ending up BREAKING!. Filed a claim with a rude and condescending individual named Dave only to have my claims get botched while he blames everyone under the sun. Sent in the defective products and still have not received the money I should be getting DESPITE their admission that they messed up. A lot of freight companies out there. One star JUST so I could write this review. Honestly, I'd give NEGATIVE STARS. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have had all year. This is only about CLAUDIA GONZALES and her ridiculously RUDE behavior. She will place you on hold before you can even get your sentence out and not even ASK "can I place you on a brief hold?" Then the hold time is ridiculously long and then she hangs up on you. She did this to me 4 times. I kept calling back on 2 phones. The office and my cell and she did this repeatedly. When she finally answered again I said "ma'am I just need to track our shipment and you're putting me on hold before I can even get the sentence out of my mouth!" She immediately placed me on hold when I said that without warning and then hung up on me. I finally got a hold of someone else, I believe her name was Dalia or Delia. She was pleasant and told me our shipment was still on time to be delivered today. Someone needs to do something about Claudia. This is still a business and SOME sort of customer service still needs to be displayed. She is by far the RUDEST and most UNPROFESSIONAL person I have EVER spoken to. read more

The most terrible service I have ever experienced. We were tring to deliver a huge piece of expensive furniture to our customer is GA and this company was outstandingly terrible. First of all, they keep the product in their warehouse for couple of days without any reasons and then the driver dropped the vanity in front of the customer. Of course the unit was severally damaged and the customer refused to accept it. So we refunded money to the customer and wanted wanted to receive the damaged product or money back. And they said that in order for us to receive our damaged vanity back we need to pay them for shipping. Such a nonsense! We paid them for shipping $350 (to deliver it to the customer in a good condition), they brake the unit so we have to return money to the customer for the purchase, and after they want more money to bring the broken vanity back to us. We submit a claim and for 6 months already, there are no decision. Terrible company! We will never use their service again. read more

My wife and I will be with Dot-Line Transportation for 2 years in May. We love the company. We get great miles, excellent pay, and dispatch is always willing to work with us when we need to be home! The ladies in the office go out of their way to help us with any issues we may have. We like the fact that the equipment is new and makes being from home so much easier. read more

We ordered some shades from a company in California, they used Dot Line, half the order came smashed. We have sent the proper claims forms, they have refused us because of the boxes. The shades already came all the way from China in the boxes, but could not make it across the country? Plus they sent us the wrong address for themselves on the paperwork. read more

There are a lot of freight carriers with poor service, however, Dot Line is the worst. It took after the 3rd time they screwed me and made no effort to compensate for their mistakes to realize how bad of a carrier they truly are. I have never dealt with such bad service in any industry in my entire life. If you want things to be on time, un-damaged, and cost affective do NOT use Dot-line, even if they offer you the lowest rate it will not be worth it. read more
