Had a great experience with Tri Shuttle this past week! We needed to get to LAX from north Orange County and didn't want to take an Uber, deal with the hassle of driving/parking at the airport, or burden a family member with the stress of LAX. We decided to try Tri Shuttle after seeing the positive reviews, and we were glad we did! Unlike Uber, this is a small business, and so it's much easier to be in direct contact with your driver. Tien was our driver both ways. He was friendly, prompt, and a good driver. He texted to confirm our pickups both times, and when we were coming back, he had tracked our flight so he was ready to pick us up at the curb. Getting a rideshare pickup at the airport can be a big hassle, and you usually have to go to a separate area. Then you have to wait for your ride, which your driver may cancel for whatever reason. But with Tri Shuttle, you get picked up in Arrivals as if you're having a friend or family member pick you up. Their customer service and professionalism were excellent (if you use rideshare, you know those qualities can be REALLY hit-or-miss), giving us more peace of mind to enjoy our trip. I was notified while overseas that my original pickup plan was not going to work out less than 4 hours before taking off. Even worse, my original driver had my car seats in storage so I needed to find a shuttle company that could provide car seats for my two toddlers. I booked at 4 am in Japan and my minivan with two car seats was confirmed less than 30 min later via Whatsapp. I landed at LAX and received a text from my driver, Ken. He arrived within 2 min of notifying him that we were out curbside with our luggage. The minivan and car seats were absolutely spotless. Just OK. I was reading reviews because I needed a shuttle for me and my sons as we were going to stay in Buena Park and needed to get to the airport in Los Angeles. I booked this solely on the reservation cost and reviews. The first ride was a little bit confusing because it seemed like the driver was waiting for us, but we ended up having to wait 10 minutes for him. I don't really understand why he wasn't in the vicinity, knowing that our plane was close by and all we had to do was get our bags. He said something about traffic outside of the airport, but I was wondering why he wasn't circling around where people get dropped off. I think his name is Ken and he was not very talkative or friendly and for over $100 I expected a little bit more. Maybe even a bottle of water? Or a simple good morning would've been OK. On the way back the driver Tony was on time and texted some weird photos of his face which is a little bit strange in the morning. He was friendly enough, but he drove a little bit dangerously, which scared me a little bit sitting in the front seat and having my boys in back. I think if you are a professional driver, you should yield to cars and not drive super aggressive. People are honking at him, and he almost swerved into somebody and almost swerved into a curve, heading into the airport. So needless to say, I could not relax.We had plenty of time to make our flight and I didn't need him to drive crazy. Also, I wasn't very appreciative of the fact that after I paid for the return trip, I received a text message thar due to fuel surcharges I was being charged extra. Even after I paid the extra, I was still prompted to continue to pay where I had to waste time calling them, letting them know I already paid the surcharge. I also don't like that. They already include the gratuity. Let me choose how much I want to give you ... all in all. Not sure if I'll use them again. But maybe in a pinch I would. read more

Fantastic shuttle company. We used them to transport our group of 16 for corporate transportation. They were always early and had good communication. One of the days we had them drop off and pick up from Disney. They gave us a great meet up spot to avoid extra wait time. Drivers were very professional and friendly. I used Tri Shuttle on my trip to Disneyland a couple of weeks ago. There's a reason they currently are rated . They were awesome! I've used different car services before, but the others have gotten very pricey over the years. I found Tri Shuttle on Yelp, and with a 5-star rating, I decided to take a chance. The reservation process was easy, and you have a choice of paying now or at the time of pickup. You get a text the day of services informing you who your driver is. We had Kevin for our pickup from LAX to the hotel, and then Vinh for our return back to LAX. Both Kevin and Vinh had good communication with me and the ride itself was enjoyable. Kevin picked us up in a huge Mercedes Sprinter van. Super comfortable, especially sitting through the 1.5 hrs of LA traffic. Vinh picked us up in a nice Toyota Van. Also comfortable! Both had great personalities and we all talked story almost the whole car ride. I will definitely use them again in the future, and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting private car services. read more

We used Tri Shuttle to get from Long Beach airport to the LA cruise terminal and back, and it was a very pleasant and easy experience. We chose them because you can reserve the luxury sprinter vans (cheaper than what the cruise was offering) including car seats!! This was hugely important for us. They confirmed well before the trip, but they also reached out the day before for a final confirmation. We were ready earlier than the previously agreed time, and they found a way to pick us up early, and this was really appreciated! The sprinter vans were immaculate and comfortable. The drivers (Trang and Tom) were incredibly accommodating, kind, and helpful. The second driver that drove us back from the ship to the airport, (I don't remember his name) drove unsafe! Needed a ride to Royal Caribbean for my family. Set it up with Tri Shuttle in literally minute on their web site. Their order process was simple making it easy. We went with the Sprinter and were able to get a rear facing car seat too. They had great communication via texting. The shuttle was very clean and Kevin, our driver was very friendly got us there on time. In addition though our return pick up was set for 10am, Kevin sent a text asking if he needed to be there earlier. That was perfect since we disembarked at 8:30. I planned a family trip for 13 family members to Long Beach. We flew into LAX on the 4th of July and needed a shuttle to Long Beach. I called every company in the LA area, and everyone wanted over $500 because it was a holiday. Tri star was half the price, and i was nervous, but the quality and service we received were above and beyond! Tien picked us up from the airport and he was the best driver I've ever had! This the fifth time I've used Tri-Shuttle to take me to and pick me up from LAX International Airport. Tony was my driver to take me to LAX in the morning. He texted me that traffic is going to be heavy (even on the fast lane) so he asked if he could pick me up a half hour earlier (is I was ready). I'm glad he gave me the heads up for an early pickup because traffic was indeed heavy. He delivered me on time to LAX and showed me how to get to the JAL ticket counter. Met my Tour Director on time. Thank you Tony! Lance was my driver when I arrived at LAX. Traffic at the arrival area outside was terrible. Lance texted me if I could meet him at pillar B8 which was a short distance walk from the arrival exit. He was waiting for me on time and maneuvered safely out of the congested airport .
