I made quote request on Yelp, and made reservation via website on June 4, for a July 10 flight. I called at 4am day of flight to verify payment options. Seems I woke up Sam. In a groggy voice, he listed the payment options. I said great, see you in 30 minutes. He then texted me that he does not have any cars, and that my reservation is for next month. I sent him a screenshot of my confirmation email, listing the specifics: July 10 4:30am pickup for two passengers, a surfboard, a dog, a crate, and six pieces of luggage. I received a response to my request for a quote very quickly. Before I booked, I asked several questions via email that were answered very promptly. When I landed in Orange County, I received a phone call from the driver who identified himself and described the vehicle. He was very friendly and eager to assist. On the day of departure, the driver texted me when he arrived at the hotel to pick me up. He was actually a few minutes early. He was very friendly and helpful as well. I only have one small negative comment. I was picked up in a different vehicle than what was stated in the original quote. It wasn't an issue at all, except it made me second guess who was picking us up. Before my kids and I got in, the driver again stated who he was, the company he was working for, and the destination. He was very understanding that I was apprehensive and offered to wait if I wanted to verify things with the owner. A text notifying me of the change of vehicle ahead of time would have been helpful. I gave 5 stars because the service was amazing! It was easy to book a reservation and communicate with the owner. He answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. *Wedding on 7/11/21* We used Sam's Express on the day of our wedding to transport the wedding party from our hotel to the wedding venue. I cannot recommend Sam's Express enough! We were traveling to LAX as a group of 7 and needed to go to Anaheim. I texted Sam's number asking if he could give us a quote and within 10 minutes he responded with the best price out of any service. We would have needed 2 Uber's and the prices seemed to vary. Other shuttle services were not working out or were way too expensive. He confirmed he would pick us up after giving him the flight info and where we were going in Anaheim. I double checked with him the day of via text and nothing needed pre-paid. I received a text when we landed that he was nearby and to let him know when we had our bags. Less than 10 minutes after sending the info, he had us loaded up and on our way which was incredible after seeing the chaos at the terminal. Sam is very kind and a skilled driver for the LA traffic and we were at our location quick. It was nice to have everything handled and be at our rooms so quickly after a long day of travel.
