Our hot pots, closer is Miso, further is Korean Kimchi. Also visible are dipping sauces we made at the sauce station!

This was my first hot pot experience and Double 10 made sure I had a great time. I was new at eating hot pot style but the employees were very nice and never made me feel silly. They explained how ordering worked clearly and asked if I needed extra tools to help. I instinctively said I was fine, but thankfully they brought them anyway because I am not great at using chopsticks! I thought the restaurant and table were clean, which is important to me. The food was excellent, I got the miso broth and loved it. I was shocked by how affordable it was too, I thought it would be way more expensive for how much we ate. Thank you Double 10 for the pleasant experience!

This place was actually quite cute and I had a better experience than I expected. Sauce bar had all the right ingredients + noodles and potatoes (and rice chips). Hefty vegetable portions for the price. Taking off a star because the meat was fairly obviously frozen. I got the coconut broth to get fancy, but I'd recommend sticking to tomato or mushroom broth lol (don't get miso either - you won't be able to see your food + you want your sauce to give the flavor, not the broth).

    Sichuan chicken

Sichuan style chicken~ look like the chicken is frozen chicken from Sam's club, just deep fried with some peppers, it's not how is supposed to be AT ALL! Xiao Chao Rou is a Hunan cuisine which supposedly having spicy peppers, leek, garlic and pork belly, at Double 10 it surprised me with very dry pork with celery bamboo shoot, not spicy at all.... It was horrible at its finest!!!!!!! IF YOU LOOK FOR SWEET AND SOUR PANDA EXPRESS STYLE it might be ok. NEVER AGAIN

    44. Sour Cabbage and Lamb Pot

It's a very authentic Northern Chinese restaurant where you can try a variety of dishes. We found their homemade pork rib so good and finished it all at a time. It's flavorful and tender and served with good portions. The source cabbage lamb pot is nice to have in the winter. It's easy to park your car in front of the restaurant and it's right next to the downtown. We're told that this restaurant has been here for more than 10 years and you can chat with the friendly and welcoming owner there. Dine in experience was nice and the place is clean too. Come and check out this place: you can choose either mini hot pots or regular menus.

I took out lunch on a weekday. The place was not too busy. There was sufficient parking lots available around the building. I went for a cumin spicy lamb. It came with rice. The dish had a lot of flavors. Also it was spicy enough for me.

Double 10 is a wonderful place for hot pot! It's individual servings, which I prefer. They have a few vegan broths and plenty of vegetables, tofu, and noodles to choose from. There are even some free noodles and potatoes by the sauce counter. It's a spacious place with fast and friendly service. If you get green tea it comes in a pot with free refills. You don't have to worry about parking because there's a lot out front. I also love that this place stays open later than a lot of restaurants in madison. I only wish there was vegetable combo. They only have meat and vegetable combos so you have buy the vegetables a La carte if you don't eat meat.

Good price. I like the personal pot so you don't have to negotiate which broths people do or don't like.

I cannot recommend the house-made noodles enough. I could have eaten plates of just the noodle bunches. We tried the miso broth, and enjoyed it. The sauce bar was wonderful, as usual, although it took us a minute to realize we also needed to use the sauce mini bowls as serving bowls for our soup. The service was wonderful, friendly and fast. Next time I would love to try their meals a la carte, and also a different broth. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We are happy to have such a great hot pot restaurant in Madison.

Highly recommend! The owner and cook were so kind! We never had hot pot before but they showed us the ropes and it was rather easy! You also can take whatever you don't eat home. Big portions for your money. Will def come back again soon. A fun experience!

We were looking for a unique and memorable dining experience and we found it!! Double 10 Mini Hot Pot is a great date night or with a group of friends. They have the traditional Asian type food but if you are looking for something a little different than definitely try a Hot Pot. They will bring your choice of protein to the table along with the broth you choose and a plate of raw vegetables that you will cook in your broth. They also have a sauce/noodle bar that you can dip your cooked food into and then eat. Create your own sauce or use the recipes provided. This was our first time to do a hot pot restaurant and the owner was so nice and helpful. She could tell we had no clue what we were doing and she was very helpful in explaining how it all worked and showing us how to mix up our sauces. It was a fun night and a memorable experience and we will definitely be back.

Every time I dine here I like it more and more! The hot pots are amazing. The corn is so sweet and the beef is z best. I rate the hot pot meal a top 5 eating experience du monde! The traditional Chinese meals are sensational. ( General Tsao Chicken ) A top 5 resto du monde!

Ask the Community - Double 10 Mini Hot Pot

Are there gluten free options for the dinner hot pot? I am wondering if any of the broths contain gluten and if the noodles contain gluten.

I have a fish/Shellfish allergy. Do their broths contain fish sauce?

The most broths made by chicken, there are two vegetarians broths, so no fish add in broths. But in the combo plates, we add in fish balls and shrimp balls. You can let us…

I sat down with my friend expecting what Im used to - I tell her we have to get a tom yum soup base and a beef broth base. They hand us the menu and... yep, beef broth, but no tom yum! I made a remark about it being a bummer it wasnt there, and was about to order the mushroom instead. But this very kind waiter overheard and very excitedly told us he'd be able to do tom yum!! For that - 12 stars. It was delicious. The beef bone broth was also stellar, i even grabbed a few spoonfuls just to drink straight up! Service is split between a waiter and a robo-water, which was interesting. You order your broth, then you can order through the phone app all you want for the table. Dont worry, you can keep ordering as you eat! So dont order it all rightaway. Youll run outta table space, hehe! Theres a small sauce bar and fruit bar and a cooler with drinks. Theres was also mini ice cream but by god we were STUFFED at the end and didnt get a shot at trying them. We ordered lamb, crab sticks, bok choy, enoki, broccoli, more bok choy, some rice, crab sticks, kimchi, more bok choy... you get it. Not my best plunder (i swear im usually adventurous) but i wanted basic GREENS today for some reason. Long winded way to say - good job Fuki!! Im impressed!! Thank you for the tom yum and fun experience.

Especially seafood and less common items ( duck blood , bamboo etc). You use your phone and click on the QR code to order the items you want and a robot comes out and brings them to you. Their broth is also much more varied then most and you can experience up to 4 broth at a time. The broths were superb and you could really tell the different flavor profiles. The only complaint was the edamame- it didnt seem fresh and was pretty fibrous- though I suspect the issue was more with the supplier then the resturaunt - hence 5 stars. Definitely would come here again.

Came here on a Monday, and unfortunately, a handful of the stalls were not open. Bummer, as the Filipino joint happened to be one of the stalls. Didnt stop me from looking. All the different food stalls are on the perimeter of this place, with ample seating in the middle. This place is also connected to a market, so if you happen to need a little something extra to supplement your meal, you could get it from here, though no real prepared food, so I'm thinking more of condiments or drinks. The market itself seemed to have a fairly decent selection of Asian groceries and items, with discounted items right before the checkout lines (genius). I found myself going through the drinks for a good 5-10 minutes alone. I hope this place does well. I was here on a Monday in the summer, so hopefully this wasn't a good representation of their normal traffic, but this place was DEAD. The first thing we noticed was that the restaurant seemed brighter. I don't know if they turned up the lights. Also, there seemed to be fewer tables and slightly more spacious. The second thing that changed was the menu. It was a lot shorter, missing were several Korean entrees since our visit in July. It no longer had Korean BBQ offerings that they show on their website. My daughter was disappointed that they didn't have any soups on their new menu and settled for Fried Chicken. My wife ordered Jop Chae, a noodle stir fry which she had on our last visit but she said that it didn't seem to have the same favor. My son also ordered fried chicken although I don't recall the name but it had 5 different types of spiciness, rated from 1 being mild to 5 which the waitress warned was very hot and recommended 3. Seeing that he likes spicy, he opted for 5, which my son found to be incredibly hot, to the point where couldn't finish eating it. I ordered Loaded Fries with Cali sauce, which was basically a plate of fries topped with sliced up chicken tenders and had a creamy saucy that you might find on Sushi. The meals didn't come with the traditional Banchan which is a side of few different Korean style vegetables that is usually placed on the center of the table for everyone to share. Although my wife's dish did come with a side of diced sweet white radishes. I later ordered Kim Chi which came in a small cup. After our meal, my wife went to the counter to pay and asked the cashier if the restaurant was under a different management. The cashier said that they had reopened and that they had a "soft opening" with the new management and a condensed menu. She also said that they welcomed feedback. Although we left disappointed with the changes, we will be back to give them another chance and hope they offer more of a Korean BBQ style menu.
