This store is one of the oldest LGS's in the Inland Empire, yet it's always been bottom of the barrel compared to the experience at other locations. Spend 15 minutes here, buy what you want and go to Claremont or Riverside for better community.

All of the staff was friendly and helpful, but Eric in particular was very instrumental in getting me excited about re-visiting an old childhood obsession. In the three years since, Pegasus and their staff have been very helpful and supportive. They have never tried to sell me anything I didn't like or want and they've always seemed genuinely happy to see me, greeting me with a smile whenever I entered the store. I once had to exchange an expensive car months after purchasing it and they were happy to oblige, even though I didn't have the receipt. I read a review where one customer called them racist. Not true, I'm African-American. If you want to take up a new hobby or re-visit an old one, there's only one place to go. Pegasus.

I walked in and went to the international travel section and saw travel books but not maps. On the off chance that they might have them, I went to the customer service desk. April quickly looked it up for me and walked me over to the other side of the same shelf, straight to the laminated map that I was looking for. Thanks, April! And thanks staff person in front who helped me out! I like everything about this Barnes & Noble, especially the people working there, but can management do something about the dingy old bathroom? They also have a lot of toys already opened on display so your kids can actually play with them before buying and make sure they like it. The return policy is good too, we were gifted items that we opened but soon realized they were too young for my kid, but we had no issues exchanging items. The downsides to me were the location. We went around 5:30pm, and there was some stuff happening in the shared parking lot and some ..smells wafting into our car lol which didn't bother me but that might bother some folks especially with little ones. The main reason I probably won't go back is the prices. I'm sure the products are quality products and maybe that's why they're a little pricier than normal, but for my family's budget it just wasn't a place we would return. Our experience was better than I could've ever hoped for. There are rows and rows of different comic books, neatly organized, and very easily viewed. It is like a little kids comic book dreamworld. So many cool different things to look at. The staff (maybe owner?) Enrique is so kind and so happy to help. We were able to look at things that were within the age range for my kid to enjoy. There's also a couple rows of really cool vintage pinball games. For a dollar you get to play several rounds. Overall amazing experience, we will be back. I feel like everything we wanted to buy, we went ahead and bought and I still left there for under $30. I noticed that he's selling the current comic books for the price labeled on the book, he's not up selling and gouging. Like another Yelper mentioned, they have a balloon service and yesterday they had at least 5 balloon bouquets ready to be picked up! I wish I had taken a picture. It is a bit of a maze but since I was talking to my daughter on the phone anyway, I walked every aisle and appreciated all the variety of items available, from figurines for DIY dollhouses or dioramas, to fabrics, to dozens of types of yarn, to silk flowers, to frames, to paper products such as the black poster board I needed. Two staff up front helping people, even though you basically use a touchscreen--one was guiding an older customer how to navigate the touchscreen, and the other was helping a young person use her gift card. Michael's is just a place that makes me happy to walk into because it's bright, inviting, and allows people to explore or dive deeper into their creative side.
