I needed an apartment in a hurry (5 days before a lease ended on April 31st). Amanda Woods was able…read moreto meet us early just one day after we first called Miller Real Estate. She was an absolute delight and a great representation of the rest of her firm. She was very responsive to any questions and concerns my roommate and I had (less than 1 hour after any text/call/email). She also guided us through the application process, making it clear and easy, and was more than understanding of our unconventional income. We're both college students making most of our money in summer internships and part-time jobs, so this understanding was SUPER important for us.

Miller tells you to make a portal request (that also goes ignored). They ended up blocking my number when I simply asked for my parking remote deposit back. It has been over a month since the end of my lease, and they never returned my money. Only after I posted a Google review, they said the parking remote was broken. How would I have moved my car out of a gated parking spot without a functioning remote? When living there, I had dirty water filling up my sink and overflowing onto the wooden floors due to a plumbing issue related to another unit in the building. It took Miller two weeks to send a plumber to fix the issue. I was putting towels down to avoid damage to the floors but the water was non-stop. I was washing my dishes in the tub for two weeks. As seen in the attached photos, I warned them that there would be inevitable water damage from this. I quickly noticed the water damage due to their delay in fixing the plumbing issue. I documented this in the portal with pictures. The portal request, texts, calls and emails went unanswered for months. When I finally got ahold of Andrea Miller on the phone, she told me that the water damage was my fault! She told me to contact my renters insurance, saying the repair was my responsibility! When I demanded flooring contractors to inspect the damage, the contractors laughed and said this was fully the responsibility of Miller management. The damage to my flooring was fixed TEN MONTHS after the plumbing issue. My rent was even raised during this time. See photos attached with dates to het a glimpse of how you will be ignored as a tenant. My lease over October 31st, and when I contacted them to return my deposit for the parking remote/ keys that I returned, they BLOCKED my number! Avoid this management nightmare at all costs.

She answered our questions, telling us what we needed to hear, not necessarily what we wanted to hear. She has a long list of reputable service providers needed in selling and moving a household. We have already asked her to help us with another real estate adventure. I highly recommend her services. triciameyer70@gmail.com

After a thorough set of interviews, we selected Tricia. The home sale recently closed. Tricia met and actually exceeded all of our expectations. She was knowledgeable, diligent, dependable, honest, timely, and had a great set of contacts and resources. Most importantly, she was kind. My folks needed help with the processes of emptying their home, updating the property, consolidating their possessions, selling their home and moving two thousand miles away. Tricia took ownership of all of those processes and guided my parents through everything. Without hesitation, I enthusiastically recommend Tricia.

I researched the statue and no where does it indicate the reserve should be 100% of our reserve fund. The reply back was management companies state the reserve should be funded at 100% of the reserve. Reserve funds are not operational daily funds. They are to be used for future expenditures such as maintaining a roof on a structure. Replacing pumps for a pool. Our 45 home community has a grass field, 45 trees and a sign for the subdivision. I was told if a storm came through and destroyed all of the trees and the sign we would need money to replace those item, which is correct. However the community would have larger issues than replacing a sign and trees. I read where a community should have a reserve fund study done every 3 years. To the best of my knowledge we have no had one. The subdivision might be 8 years old and the trees. are not large. I was told it would cost over $900 to remove each tree. The trees are maybe 9 ft tall. I am not trying to cause problems but a rush to fund a reserve fund at 100% of our operation fund without a study or common sense is a disservice to the HOA members.
