When my husband accepted a faculty position at IUN, we had exactly one day to tour some homes in Miller and choose one to buy before returning to Missouri to sell our current home. He and his assistant gathered all pertinent information over the phone before we made the trip, and when we arrived in Gary, we saw six very different homes in our price range. I was VERY inexperienced with buying/selling a property. I put my trust in a professional agent to guide me through this process. SUSAN STEVENS was only interested in putting money in her pocket. She did not explain anything with the listing paperwork. The only details disscussed was the listing price and her commission. Absolutely no direction with disclosure forms ect. If you only need an agent to unlock a door and charge commission then hire Susan Stevens. If you are looking for an honest agent who is genuinely instersted in her clients best interest, select another real estate company. If you just want to pay someone to oversee paperwork, hire Susan Stevens. The owner, Tom Boyle, was not any help with fixing the mess his employee (Susan Stevens) could have prevented.
