What a fun place for birthday parties! My daughter has had her birthday party here twice now, for age 5 and 6. They had a handful of inflatables for climbing/jumping on, plus the children loved the trampolines and foam pit. For the 6 year old party I chose the add on for the glow in the dark theme and the kids had a blast with the glow in the dark paint and bracelets and throwing the glowing balls around. The staff is always so helpful and attentive and kept the party running smoothly and on time, serving the pizza and cake. They also deliver the presents to your car and clean up the party room. Such a great gym for the active kiddos! During the school year they have free play for kids from 10AM-12PM on Mondays and Fridays. But during the summer they have only been doing this on Fridays due to them hosting summer camps. The gym is a nice big open space with bouncy mats on the whole floor, a couple of trampolines, a foam but, inflatables, and more. My almost two year old loves it and I wish I found out about it sooner! Your first child is $10, second is $9, and every child after that is $8. All ages are welcome and kids 2 and under are free. You will need to sign a waiver for your kiddo your first time attending but only the one time. You can bring snacks as they have picnic tables outside of the gym off to the side where I assume they do birthday party events. It's a fun place and a great indoor alternative to this summer heat! read more

We have only been here for birthday parties but I question why I have never been here for open play days. It's perfect for my two energy-driven boys. However, I do not seen that currently available on their website so I assume that stopped that? For birthdays, however, we really enjoy it here. You get ample time to play on their equipment in the space (with no other parties) and then a private room for food, cake and gifts. The air conditioning is SPOT ON and I never felt hot. Surprisingly it didn't smell like feet in there. LOL If you have ever been to a gym you know what I mean. I am definitely considering hosting my own party here in the future. read more

Don't waste your money or time with this place if you are looking to have a party for your child. Overpriced and took many rules. Adults now can't play with their kids and only get to watch them. If the equipment is that delicate then it's too dangerous for your kid. They watch your every move while sitting in their chair doing nothing but talking and it's a money making rushed experience. Take your kid to the park for a better experience or better yet go to Disney, it's cheaper and actually fun. read more

I mostly have come here for birthday parties or open play days. It's such a great play for kids to release all their energy in jumping, bouncing and running around. They have a running trampoline as well as another one to jump on that lead to a foam bit. They have a few different inflatables with one being an obstacle course, another with slides and one made for the younger kids. Price is fair as well for open play days, $8 for 1 child and a $1 off for additional sibling and $2 off for 2 or more siblings. I love this place. We come here all the time for kids birthday parties. My son gets sweaty here and has so much fun. I have taken him to the open play days on Friday mornings also. We had our child's birthday party here in 2018. This is a great kids birthday party place since it is indoors away from the heat or rain. They recently expanded the birthday party table area to now have 2 table areas setup simultaneously. It is much more efficient. I had a great birthday party experience here. The employees here were very helpful. This place does have a slight smell of feet or sweat. It is a busy place though for cheerleaders during the week and kids birthday parties on the weekends. Maybe it just needs some Febreeze or deodorizer? The bathrooms could use some updating also. read more

I came here for a six year old's birthday party. It was great for the kids. They had a blast. They had inflatables for the children to slide and climb on. There were ropes that hung from the ceiling where the kids could either swing on or climb up the rope. The children enjoyed the trampolines and running around. The parents also joined in with the children to help them on the slides or the ropes. read more

I've been to Double Down Athletics a couple times with my daughter for birthday parties and it is always a lot of fun. For birthdays the kids get 2 hours of time in the gym with several inflatable slides, bounce houses, trampolines, etc. Everyone goes home tired. The prices seem fair for the parties. My friend hosting the party said for the number of kids they had attending (more than 20) the rate was very good. She also said the convenience of it was great because all she had to do was bring a cake and goody bags, everything else was done for her. The staff seems really good. They do a good job of monitoring the kids while they are playing. Of course accidents always happen, but they were quick with ice packs and had the kids back to playing right away. read more

One of the best gyms in Orlando. Can't best their prices and employees. The design of the building is just gorgeous. Cj is definitely one of the nicest dudes you will ever meet, excellent tumbler with great advice. Occasionally you will have the opportunity to witness the UCF cheerleaders practice their routines and stunts. They will do some incredible stunts at open gym! Going to this gym just during open gym hours to watch is worth it. It could keep you entertained for hours Tricking and parkour is held at open gym hours. This is primarily a chear and tumbling center for kids. Our family is more interested in Gymnastics classes which they offer but do not have a lot of gymnastics equipment. The reason for my review is the open gym on fridays. They offer a open gym time for stuff like inflatable slides, trampolines, spring floor, and a foam pit. It is from 6-9 and is $15 per child. A great way to tire the kids out and possibly get them to sleep in on Saturday morning. read more

I took my daughter last Friday to find out about the lesson. They told me to come back Wednesday at 3:45 for a trial class. Today I called to make sure I could take my daughter, the first call someone told me that the classes are at 5:30 and to register online. I went online to register but the classes were 3:45, so I called again and they told me that the class was at 3:45 and that I was all set for the class. I took my daughter there (she was beyond excited) and after waiting for 20 minutes the receptionist told us that the coach was not schedule to come for that class today to come back next week. My daughter was super upset and so do I that took time from work to take her and after calling a few times. read more

Chosen for Birthday Party- Great Venue...Horrible Customer Service!! We chose this as my son's birthday party venue 3 months in advance. Let me say that the venue has a lot of fun activities for the kids. The two girls working at the front desk were awful. They were very rude and unhelpful. They let the previous party stay over their time by an extra 20 minutes which delayed our party. Our guests were hungry and thirsty but we had nowhere to even put out drinks or snacks for them because the previous party was still there even though they were supposed to be out. The front desk girls ordered the wrong amount of pizza and our entire party was greeted with a rude and teenage attitude. There was no manager or owner on premises so 2 teenage girls were in charge of my sons $250+ birthday party. We were disappointed by the service and upon exiting I asked for a number for the manager or owner a blonde girl just simply told me to call back at another time next week. I am disappointed that the parties overlap, there is no time for cleanup or setup and if another party goes over there time, there is no one to tell them to please leave. The saving grace was our party host, Alexa, who was proactive and helpful. She helped hand out food, play with the kids and did so with a great and positive attitude. All the while the other two girls sat on their Iphones at the front desk and did nothing to help. read more

If I could rate Double Down Athletics a zero, I would have. I paid for my two sons to attend a week of summer camp at Double Down Gymnastics. My four year old son was hit by another child in the stomach. I have taught my children to defend themselves. So my four year old punched the older child in the face. The teenage counselor took my son and put him in time out for twenty minutes. My older son told the counselor that the other older child started the confrontation. She didnt want to hear it. My older son wanted to sit with his younger brother while he was in time out for twenty minutes. The staff there refused to let my older brother sit with his little brother. After my younger son was finished with his timeout, they initially refused to let him have his ice cream, which I paid for by the way. Then on top of that, the staff was talking in a negative manner about my four year old son, in front of him, so he heard what they were saying. My two boys were traumatised by this experience. When I called to complain, the supervisor Jenn told me that they stand by their policies. After dealing with the staff at Double Down, I will never send my children back there. They do not know how to handle children. I would not send my poodle there to learn how to jump through a hula hoop. read more
