Amazing popcorn!!! Bought a variety pack (I think 10 or 12 bags-not sure because I ate them so quickly) from a friend's child's school fundraiser. The overall experience was so much better than other fundraisers I have purchased from. It was easy to purchase on-line, leave a message for my friend's daughter-wishing her well, and I received the popcorn in a week! I was a little surprised about the price because the bags of popcorn are on the smaller size but once I opened the first bag of popcorn and devoured it, I didn't care about the price at all! In fact, after eating over half the variety pack I purchased, I went on Double Good's website hoping they sold popcorn outside of fundraisers and to my surprise, they do! I ordered the variety pack for my niece fundraiser and decided to try the "holla peno" bag - I ate about 3/4 and stopped it was delicious but right after I noticed my mouth instantly felt weird and off so I drank some water - big mistake - the water made my mouth feel like it was on fire - ... long story short 5 days later and I have no taste buds cuts all over my mouth and throat is completely swollen - this is hands down the worst I have ever felt - - harder pain than strep - so if you read the bag the oils activate the capisitin and that can cause these issues I eat spicy food all the time - and never in my life have I had a reaction like this just wanted to share my story hope it helps another person Thanks read more

In realty, Double Good is a fundraising platform to support your friends and family members. It is not inexpensive, and all of the pricing is clearly stated on the website when you order. So, I kind of shake my head at the critics who feign shock and horror at their costs. Having said that, I made a purchase to support a friend's cause and bought two bags. A 4.37-ounce bag of Chi Town Chowdown was $13 and a 2.55-ounce bag of Little Kettle That Could was $12. Add in the $1.17 tax and $5.45 shipping, and my purchase totaled $31.62 for just under 7 ounces of popcorn. My friend gets a cut of the pricing for his cause. I'm not going to bitch about the price, because I clearly knew what I was getting into, and I clearly knew I was buying to support a friend. Now, as far as the product goes, we were pretty happy with them. We started off with the Kettle corn and it was great. A very tasty, sweet/salty combination with a generous 2-cup serving of 130 calories. The Chi Town is a riff on the famous Garret's of Chicago popcorn mix of caramel and cheese flavors. As can be expected, the calories are greater at 150 for a smaller serving of 1.25 cups. It was a delicious mix of sweet and savory. So, there you have it, obviously you should be an informed consumer when someone's request to support their charity with a popcorn purchase crosses your desk or phone. Very disappointing, will never order it again. My husband bought some for a friend's kid's fundraiser on 2/4/26. It was 3 bags for $33 and $7 shipping to Hawaii. After he purchased it, the shipping increased to $18. Tax was $2.40 so the total was $53.40. He canceled it online through an AI chat, it said "submission confirmed." He didn't get a cancellation email and later got a 2/11 email to advise that the order was shipped. He did the AI chat again and he got an email, they didn't get the first cancellation request and it was already shipped. The popcorn arrived on 2/24, took almost 2 weeks to ship to Hawaii. It tasted alright but don't like the fact that the shipping charge changed after we placed the order and the first cancellation request didn't go through. read more

Shipping is always late, check out the BBB complaints. For the exorbinant prices you are paying, check the ingredients!! I learned about Double Good Popcorn through a coworker some years. My coworkers kid was selling popcorn as a fundraiser for her high school choir. At the time Double Good had a Popcorn flavor called waddle you do for cookies. It was there best flavor. I bought a couple of bags the the first year and a couple of jars the second year. When my coworkers kid graduated from high school. I tried to order the Popcorn flavor directly from the company. Unfortunately for me they stopped making Waddle you do for cookies. I have periodically checked to make purchases. However, they have permanently discontinued making that flavor. I think they should restart the production of that flavor. I haven't even received the popcorn yet, and I've already spent nearly $50 (with shipping and handling) for a $33 purchase of three tiny bags of popcorn. Also, I noted that only half of that $33 goes to funding the student's school or other cause. So I have spent nearly $50 to get her credited with about $17. the popcorn is good, but the fundraiser was a rip off, i paid $150 for 12 bags, expecting full size bags of popcorn, and when they arrived they where the small gas station sized bags. If i had went to Jewel and spent $150 on popcorn id have popcorn for a month, this will be gone in a week. I know the price of popcorn kernels, there like 5 cents of kernels in these bags sure the flavoring costs but really? This isn't really a fundraiser, it is a company selling popcorn and charging double for their normal product, the company isn't charitable at ALL. Also the flavor variety kind of sucks, there's 4/5 varieties of caramel almost half of the flavors are sweet, and then you get some plain ass flavors like salt and pepper and butter. When a dear friend alerted me to the Alpha's fundraiser, I did not hesitate. I'm all about supporting efforts to provide educational scholarships for our youth. The link was easy to navigate. The selections are plentiful. And while I know the price is high, it means that 50% of what I spend is going directly to the Alpha's for their scholarship fundraiser. As quick as it was to order, the delivery of fresh popcorn was well received. The ten different flavors came nicely packaged in a sturdy box and I shared it with family and friends. I enjoyed the Butter Believe It! I also tasted the Sergeant Salt & Pepper which was alright. The Little Kettle That Could was pretty good too with a hint of sweetness and saltiness together. My friends devoured the Chi Town Chow Down, In Queso Fire, and Holla Peno. The remaining flavors are sitting patiently as we eat them in moderation with much exercise LOL You'll see the other reviews suggesting that this popcorn is not healthy. There's a shipping fee usually when I order but the product comes in a speedy delivery. Well boxed and popcorn is always fresh . The flavors and names are great and fun. I always get white cheddar which I ate too fast to take a picture of and in Queso fire and holla peno are my favorites . I assumed that Double Good sent one bag of popcorn. To my surprise there were 3 TINY bags on popcorn in this very small box. So, these bags of popcorn are 3.14 oz, white cheddar, 1.41 oz, butter believe it, carameldiem 6.12 oz. Single serving, snack size bags. Excuse me?? I PAID 50.00 for these 3 bags of popcorn???? Total rip off. This company is ripping off their customers. Take my advice do NOT purchase popcorn from this company. My child participated in a fundraiser with Double Good. She did not receive credit from all of her supporters. When I reached out to the company I was told the supporter made their purchase through the consumer website and my child would not receive credit for the purchases. I didn't even know they had a consumer website, I thought it was strictly for fundraising. Our supporters clicked the link we were given but were somehow misdirected to the consumer website. I have been going back and forth with customer service for days about this. The company is trying to keep the fundraising funds for a profit. I thought this was a reputable non profit organization but it appears to be a scam. The company should know no one is buying this expensive popcorn just because! They are purchasing to support a fundraiser. We will never participate in a Double Good fundraiser again. read more

PRICE - 0 stars The popcorn has cute names like "Sweetie You Salty" with "smooth caramel and sea salt" ($12) and "White Cheddar Go Getter" ($10). UPS shipping is mandatory so 2 bags cost $28. Assuming they were large, I planned to take the popcorn to my job to share. Ha! SIZE - 0 stars The popcorn arrived on time but I was shocked that the 6.10 ounce bags were slightly larger than my hand! TASTE - 3.5 stars "White Cheddar" tastes no different than the $3 bag available in the grocery store. But "Sweetie You Salty" is deliciously addictive. I hear it's reminiscent of Garrett's in Chicago, you can taste the (artificially flavored) butter! INGREDIENTS - 2 stars Double Good is not organic and it's not non-GMO. The first ingredient in Sweetie is brown sugar. With ingredients like corn syrup solids, soy lecithin & canola oil, the trendy name and fancier packaging aren't worth the $12 price point, especially not for a tiny bag. I paid $29.45 for two medium sized bags of cheddar popcorn. They say my niece got $12.00, 1/2 of the sale price. The shipping was $5.45. Therefore, the popcorn cost $6.00 a bag. Very expensive. If it wasn't for my niece, I would never do this. They had a minimum purchase of $22.00. I had no choice but to spend almost $30. I would rather hand my niece $10.00 for a donation. read more

Fundraising wise, they seem to be good. When it comes to order delivery and issues I would say they need to go with someone other than fedex in our area at least. Our tracking says delivered, but it was never delivered to our home and trying to contact someone at DoubleGood about it has been not been great. I've called during their business hours, left messages, their bot chat was no help, their ticketing system on the chat has not been helpful. These bags are alittle larger than an individual size bag. I spent almost $80 for 5 tiny bags that came in a tiny box. I would imagine it doesn't cost Double Good more than $1-$2 a bag and they get a 50 percent profit at over a cost of $13 a bag-. I ordered this to help a friend with her children's school as I thought this donation would help. I would have preferred to have just taken the money and directly given it to the school seeing that Double Good sends to you tiny bags of popcorn and charges $13 a bag. It's the advertising that's misleading. It is presented as a large bag. I didn't need the popcorn but it feels like you are being taken advantage of. I would never go through this organization again or support them. I would only support the schools directly. In my opinion, this is an entrepreneur who was trying to figure out how to build a very successful business and have an incredible profit margin for himself under the disguise of fundraisers. I would think that a 50 percent profit for the owner of this business is a much higher profit margin than a regular popcorn manufacturer that sells to supermarkets and they sell bags 3-4x the size for less than half the price.
