I don't give this company any stars. I ordered popcorn from s fundraiser from a co workers daughter. I also got two other family members to order. My family member received their popcorn. I order the pop corn on 07/3/21. It is 08/18/21. I contacted them by email. The contact person name was Liza. She really had the nerve to respond in an email that they would reship my order back out for free and I didn't not need to pay a new shipping amount. The customer service is a joke. I paid shipping at tax at the time of the order. I'm thinking about call my bank and just telling them to give me a refund. This company is doing unmoral and unethical business. Popcorn Palace is now Double Good. That's according to the popcorn bag we received in a mixed gift box. Their Kettle Corn is yummy! I had never heard of them before, so I did a bit of a search online and found this article (https://www.inc.com/magazine/201604/sheila-marikar/popcorn-palace-timothy-heitmann-strategy.html) from which I learned that they not only do they let their fundraising partners keep 50% of sales, but that they were planning to begin donating 50% of sales from non-fundraising products in 2016 as well! read more

Now, I got hold of these popcorns from a fund-raiser a friend of mine did through her daughter's dance school. I ordered a small bag of Spicy Cheese and a small jar of Chicago Style flavors. I like a good ol' regular movie-theatre popcorn -- hold the butter -- salted and maybe a sprinkle of some other seasoning a theatre may have on a counter. But holy cow! These things are so additctive. I can't stop eating them. (Well, I have stopped eating the Spicy Cheese now that it's all gone -- boo-hoo.) Anyway, if you love popcorn, and you can appreciate some nice well-rounded popped kernels, well look no more. Popcorn Palace makes the absolute yummy popcorns. I love popcorn from this place. Funny thing is that I've never been a big popcorn fan until I had Popcorn Palace through a fundraiser. Ever since then, I became hooked. They have so many flavors to choose from. You have your "normal" flavors like white cheddar, caramel, and cheddar. On the flip side, you have flavors like cookies and cream, chocolate drizzle caramel, Chicago style, which combines caramel and cheddar, spicy cheese, sea salt and cracked pepper, rainbow, strawberries and cream, and the list goes on and on. I have a serious sweet tooth, so I always opt for cookies and cream, which comes with real Oreo cookies by the way, or chocolate drizzle. If you're in the Chicago area, you can walk in and purchase. If you don't live anywhere near Chicago like I do, you can always order it online. No other popcorn comes close. read more

The popcorn at this place is the bomb! It is better than any cheese popcorn anywhere. They have so many flavors that one is sure to appeal to anyone (as long as they like popcorn). My favorite is spicy cheese. It has a nice kick to it, but isn't too hot. I've also tried cheese, chipotle cheese, caramel corn, cheesy ranch, cookies 'n cream, dark chocolate cherry, white chocolate cinnamon, jalapeno, white cheddar and sea salt/cracked pepper. Of all of those flavors, the only ones that I wouldn't purchase would be white cheddar and sea salt/cracked pepper. Ordered a variety(6) of flavors. The White Cheddar and Queso Fire was enjoyable however all of the bags of popcorn had entirely to much sodium/salt. Some lacked flavor and texture, like the caramel corn. read more

Well I finally got my popcorn in May 2016. The popcorn was stale and gross when it finally arrived. It looked like the popcorn was left in heat for a very long time. I ended up throwing both bags out. read more

I bought Popcorn Palace with a Groupon and I am glad they ran the promotion because otherwise I would have never heard about them! Their popcorn is fresh, with big fat round crunchy kernels, unbelievably puffed compared to other gourmet popcorn I've ordered. I don't know what variety of popcorn they use but the kernels are out of this world. I ordered a ton of different flavors and every one was true to the description and unbelievably tasty. I loved the jalapeno, chipotle cheese, and the spicy cheese -- fabulous. Tried to stop myself from eating too much but it was too much of a challenge, so I threw in the towel. read more

Company was awful. We ordered in November, and popcorn still isn't here. Horrible customer service, as well. I emailed many times with no response. When I called, I waited for 15 minutes on hold and then got voicemail, even during business hours. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! What happened to free shipping with orders over $499? My total order was $1019 and they want me to pay $99 for shipping and handling. I have been using this as a fundraiser since they were Popcorn Palace at least 3 times a year and never paid for shipping. I am not happy about this, I have referred at least 15 teams in the last 3 years. I am very saddened by this but this just may be my last fundraiser with Double Good unless they bring back the free shipping. I am still thinking about canceling my order and finding something else with free shipping. $99 is a lot of money when you are fundraising and did not expect to pay anything extra. read more

I paid for the 3 business day freight premium when I ordered Dec 17. Now today, Dec 23 evening, I find out the three gift packs won't be delivered until TUESDAY DEC 27. Ordered mine thru school fund raiser, very pricey but ordered for a good cause. The popcorn was stale, since they have a guarantee I called their 800# after twenty minutes they told me I needed the name a fund raiser chair person as they could not find it under school name. What an absolute rip off. I would never buy from them again. If your school picks a fundraiser and you go this route, your customers will feel ripped off. It costs $12.00 for a bag that would fit on a grocery store shelf of just the regular flavored kind. Really? I bought this popcorn through a fund raiser and thought; "this is sure expensive for popcorn". However, once I took the first bite I was hooked and looking for more!
