A fantastic locally owned coffee shop in El Dorado Hills is Double Shot Coffee Shop. My wife took me there as she had visited several times and really enjoyed it. The coffee is really good, their sandwiches are fantastic, and excited to go back and try their croissants and other items. The owners are quite a team and have made a great place to visit, socialize, and get some great coffee and food. They are very friendly and responsive to questions and service needs. A great place to check out!

Enjoying a new drink I haven't tried before! I think it's a Dubai chocolate mocha? It was delicious!

My all-time favorite local coffee shop! The owners, Kat and Brendan, are amazing, friendly people, and the quality of their drinks and food are great. I love how cozy their shop is, and how comfortable it is to be able to sit in there and go in coffee dates with friends. I notice a lot of people get their work done here too, which is so nice. One of my favorite items to eat is the Mom's Coffee Cake, which I believe is Brendan's mom's recipe. It's delicious! Definitely a fan of this coffee shop and highly recommend it to everyone!

We hit this local coffee shop at least once a week for delicious coffee, Kat's amazing baked goods, and a really wonderful friendly vibe. You can customize your breakfast sandwich just how you like it and they have a great selection of spicy sauces to add more kick. The scones and muffins are freshly made and delicious, often we get there and there are some just coming out of the oven. I love the ambiance especially the curated music selections. We like the coffee so much that we buy the beans to take home too.

And now the pulled pork sandwich, it's slow cooked for 9 hours and served up on a warm burger bun. Truly Superb!!!! Get in there and give them a shot!

Stopped by here on the way to a friend's house on a weekday morning. It has a very home-y and welcoming feel with plenty of seating inside! It's at the end of a shopping center and parking is super easy. I was greeted upon entering and the two girls working were so nice. I liked that they had several seasonal drink options and they answered all my questions about them! I had the Caramel Apple Pie Latte which they said has apple syrup and caramel syrup. I really didn't taste much of the apple at all but it was a good caramel latte. I love apple flavored coffees so I was just really looking forward to the apple part of it! I'm not in this area super often but it's a good stop near the freeway if you want to drop in!

Double shot coffee bar is the perfect place for a quick bite and really good coffee. Their "build your own" breakfast sandwiches are delicious with multiple options to choose from. Service is great, it's very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Anthonyxibarrax

Finally we have a neighborhood coffee shop! We came to this place because we just needed that coffee fix but didn't want the drive through experience. We were greeted and welcomed in. We were also asked if we had visited the shop and we let them know it was our first time. Everyone was so sweet and they walked us through the menu. When we were told the breakfast sandwiches were made in house, we couldn't resist. While we waited we relaxed on the couch and Jair took everything in. You may not be able to tell but the counter was decorated by the art of kids and other visitors of the shop. The coffee was amazing and our sandwiches were delicious. We will be back, c'mon Bass Lake support local!

This statement applies to all my visits to Milestone which has been quite a few once I discovered this El Dorado Hills Town Center treasure. The cherry on the top of the special atmosphere and delicious food and spirits is of course incredible customer service. We had reservations for dinner at 7 and arrived promptly, and made our way upstairs to where the restaurant is. Seeing it from the outside I thought Sienna was the entire muti-floor establishment, until we went inside and realized they're the top floor of the building. Once we all looked over the menu for a bit we ordered the following: Drinks: Spicy Mango Margarita Appetizers: Bread Kung Pao Calamari Filet Mignon (x2) 16 oz Ribeye Dessert: Hazelnut Cheesecake Drinks were first and then came the appetizers. Both were really good and I really enjoyed the spicy Margarita. My partner paired wine with her Filet Mignon dish. I had the 16 oz Ribeye, I ordered it medium but it was more medium-well/well overall. But the thickest portions were for sure medium, so it was still enjoyable, but a little more cooked than I'd prefer. The desserts were good too, my father got the Hazelnut Cheesecake and my partner got the Blueberry Cheesecake. Overall: Glad to have finally dined here, and enjoyed our food, the seating out on the patio, and our service from our waitress. All made for a really nice Father's Day dinner with family!

I especially liked that the menu has enough variety for different tastes without feeling overwhelming. The location is also convenient, and the dining room has a comfortable, relaxed feel. A Great Breakfast Stop After a Hike in Auburn! We came here…read morefor breakfast during the week after a hike in Auburn. We had just finished the Lake Clementine/Dam hike and were very hungry afterward, so we headed into town and ended up at Mario's. First of all, Mario's is a very pretty space. I loved the black-and-white aesthetic and the simple but thoughtful décor. There's bar seating, booths, and tables both inside and outside. Parking is plentiful, so that's definitely not an issue. I started with a regular latte, while my cousin ordered a chai latte. My latte was beautiful and served in a very original, deep, low cup that I absolutely loved. It was delicious and just perfect. Unfortunately, the chai latte wasn't really to our liking. It didn't taste much like chai to us--it had a strong cinnamon flavor and a combination of flavors that made it difficult to tell exactly what we were drinking. So, the chai was definitely not our favorite. For breakfast, I ordered what I would call their breakfast sampler, with eggs, bacon, and hash browns, which also came with a portion of French toast. My cousin ordered their Monte Cristo sandwich. My eggs and hash browns were amazing, and there was plenty of bacon! I chose all bacon, and it was thick-cut, smoky, and cooked to perfection. The plates here are HUGE, and the portions are definitely abundant. My cousin's Monte Cristo was their lighter take on the classic. Instead of being deep-fried, their version is dipped in batter and cooked, which makes it a little less heavy. It looked beautiful and had plenty of ingredients inside, but for us, it was just okay. We've definitely had better Monte Cristo sandwiches. Now, the French toast... WOW. This was easily my favorite part of the meal. The bread had this delicious cinnamon-sugar coating on top that took it to another level. Add the soft, fluffy butter and maple syrup, and it was absolutely superb. That French toast alone would bring me back! I also appreciated the nice, cold ice water that was kept at our table throughout the meal. Service was super nice and pretty quick, especially considering how busy they were. I also loved how many options they give you to customize your meal. I could choose between different types of bacon, sausage, or turkey, and my cousin was able to customize her sandwich and ended up choosing cottage cheese to go with a healthier, higher-protein option. They also have sweet potato fries, regular fries, and plenty of other sides that you can substitute depending on what you're looking for. The ambiance was great, everything was clean and well maintained, and even the bathrooms were in good condition. Overall, this was a very good breakfast experience. Not everything was a home run for us, but the service, atmosphere, generous portions, customization options, and especially that French toast made it a place I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area. And after a hike? Even better!

Same boiled chicken from the kids meal, 4 pieces of shrimp and small pieces of beef. The 36 dollar price tag on this was a joke. How can you have 4 plates and all 4 were so shitty? The food, service, and ambiance were all terrific and made for a comfortable, delicious experience we will be returning to soon. We had tried going there once before about 6 months ago, but the wait was too long for our schedule that day. Yesterday, our party of four showed up at 11, and the wait was only 10 minutes. Our server, Kristin, was amazing. She answered our questions perfectly and without hesitation; she was always there to refill iced tea and bring anything additional we needed - the service was flawless in every way. We were at a booth for four, and the booths are comfortable and clean. The layout of the restaurant is efficient, and perfect for the dining experience FSC is offering. And the food? Off the charts 5/5! I hadn't had pancakes in a long time, so I ordered the blueberry pancakes. The two pancakes were both massive and delicious. Fresh blueberries in the batter and on top, and they were perfectly ripe and flavorful. I can't envision anyone actually finishing all of it, but I was happy to take home leftovers. The pancakes were fluffy and light, among the best I have ever had. I also had a side of the house-cured bacon, which I requested crispy, and which arrived perfectly crispy and delicious. Mrs. K had the blue cheese burger and loved it. I was granted a taste, and I agreed. Juicy, prepared exactly as ordered, and served with exceptional fries that were crispy outside and soft inside. Our friends had various forms of eggs and bacon, including a dish FSC calls Beggin' For Bacon. The egg dishes looked perfect, and our friends confirmed they tasted as perfect as they looked. FSC gets a ton of 5-star reviews, and they deserve every one. We will be returning soon and often, and obviously, I highly recommend FSC for your next breakfast/lunch outing.

I've been here a couple times, both times in a large group. Calling ahead and making reservations…read moreis clutch here, as it can be very busy. When the weather is nice sitting outside is awesome. It's shaded and pleasant. They do allow dogs to sit outside, and I did witness a doggy disagreement, so if you are dog averse maybe ask to be seated inside. The service is wonderful. They are very attentive and all look like they are hustling. It is a wonderful experience to know that they care about their customers. Drinks are constantly refilled, and they constantly check in on you in a non annoying way. The food is where I disagree with most of the reviews here. My first time there I got the corned beef and hash. The corned beef was great, the potatoes could be so much better though. They need to be crisp and well seasoned, they were neither. Maybe you can ask for them extra crispy? The next time I visited I had a BBQ chicken sandwich. The chicken was kinda dry, the sauce tasted good though. I also didn't like how it was assembled, it seemed kinda tossed on the bun and sent out. They are so busy here, and I wish they would just take a little extra time in the kitchen to make the food as great as the service. This is like a 3.5 star, with the great service and the decent food. Would I ever come here out of choice? Probably not. Would I throw up a big fuss if friends wanted to come here? Nah, I'd go without issue. Maybe I haven't found my meal here yet.
