It's a great place to stop for great coffee, AND FOOD! I ordered an oatmeal latte with vanilla, iced. It was made perfectly. I also ordered the club sandwich. The sourdough was TOP QUALITY! (I'm picky about my bread - this was extra sour! Loved it.) Great sandwich! Only improvements could be: 1) The plastic cup was very flimsy. A thicker product would be better because I could see someone grabbing this cup and accidentally squeezing it too hard and spilling. The top almost came off when I grabbed it by the top to move it. 2) $9.00 is a good price for the sandwich, but it was served in a piece of foil like a burrito. For people eating "in", I'd suggest a wax paper and a paper boat. For ToGo orders, wrap it a little cleaner or in a large wax paper with a sticker to seal it. The foil was bunched up and not even covering the whole sandwich. (Training issue?) However, the service was excellent. The restaurant was clean. It's decorated very nicely. Clean bathrooms. I left a coffee shop from down the street on a hunt to find more coffee and a breakfast sandwich because the previous place did not satisfy my craving. I had a two hour drive to get home so I was on a hunt. First impression, typical coffee shop vibes, they had a large pastry display and menu right above of all the breakfast sandwich options. The girl working there didn't seem to be in a good mood or understand the basics of service. However the bagel sandwich did hit the spot, the coffee was OKAY, certainly better than the spot down the street. Would I go back?...probably not. Thanks for the sandwich though. read more

Love Cafe Santoro! It's my go-to for breakfast pastries on the way to work. The staff is awesome, the food is good, it's fun to watch the traffic go by out of the window. They're pretty quick, but allow yourself 15 minutes wait if you order a breakfast sandwich (in other words, get just a pastry if you're late to work). read more

What a great little find I came across today on my driving adventure today. Hung out for quite some time on a great patio with good seating. The menu has more options than many chain coffeehouses and I appreciate that. Welcoming, this place is cozy inside and out. I chose a large iced green tea as well as terrific pecan cinnamon roll. Far too often such rolls are dry; not in this case. It was soft and a taste that I didn't know I have missed for years. There is some seating inside but its the patio in the back that was a joy. There tables for two to five. Some umbrellas for some shade are available. The sky and sun are great today and while it is next to the main road of this smaller town, it is not too noisy. The openness of this area is just wonderful. Consistently busy, there are clearly usual customers that also like it here. If you are in the area, definitely check this coffeehouse. I am likely to return on my adventurous days. It is about 30 minutes from my usual haunts. read more

The food here is great and always tastes good plus the coffee is delicious. They also have a beautiful space. However, it does take a while which is a bummer on the way to work and they have totally forgotten my order once. I'd still recommend just don't be expecting Starbucks speed. read more

First off the customer service was amazing, patient and friendly. The coffee in my opinion was a little bit on the sweeter side and to much milk. As for the sandwich, if you like spicy food this is the one for you, It was perfectly crispy and crunchy. For my husband and I the total was $40 that includes two breakfast sandwich and two lattes. We stumbled upon this nice little cafe on our way home from the Sierras. The staff was very friendly and the Americano was perfect in every way... temperature, aroma, potency, and flavor. We also ordered the coffee cake (warmed up per the staff recommendation), which was very good as well. I'd written a longer review but I've changed my mind, I am not interested in a fight and I know this topic gets people heated. Bottom line though, I take community health and safety seriously, and I don't patronize businesses that refuse to do so, especially in a global pandemic. I stumbled across this small, inconspicuous little coffee shop in the Cameron Park area while working nearby. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the interior is cozy and welcoming. They have a variety of tables and chairs, board games, and books. It's the perfect little spot to bring a book and relax, or bring some work to get done. Their menu offers a nice variety of breakfast items: muffins, sandwiches, etc. And they have an extensive coffee and beverage menu. I opted for a simple cup of coffee and it hit the spot (and provided me with a much needed caffeine kick). I love to support small, local businesses like this. I was in Placerville for two weeks for work, I stopped here the most in the mornings because of the bagel Sammie's. I had the cinnamon roll once and it was phenomenal, but I never saw them ready again. The bagel sandwiches and pastries were great, but again, no cinnamon rolls after the first day. It was noticeably some of the best customer service I have received in a coffee shop or anywhere for that matter. They do milkshakes and smoothies. They also have limited but fun and delicious treats. Prices are excellent. What I really loved was my mocha tasting like coffee. I find so many mochas that just taste like hot chocolate. We were just wandering around waiting for our dentist appointment and stumbled in thankfully. They satisfied our needs with good hot coffee, made us immediately feel welcome and fed our hungry bellies. Short and sweet, what more do you want and need? Took some in house baked goods to go, got muffins, scones and a giant cinnamon roll. These guys are doing the best at keeping a small friendly business the way they should be!
