Love this place since I started coming here based Ina recommendation from a friend. The coffee is always great, as they do their own roasting on the premises. I have also tried their matcha which is amazing. Wish they could somehow make the sink very hot, as it turns lukewarm quickly. The selection process of their pastries and morning rolls are amazing and we truly enjoy them. The pistachio croissant is a favorite and we grab one if they have them as they run out of them rather quickly! We were coming back from our Tahoe trip and decided to stop by this place and charge the car. I'm so glad we did! It such a nice space and it's also a brewery. There's plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. We walked in to see the bar first and kept walking to find the coffee bar. The guy was very welcoming and we order coffee and breakfast burritos(veg and chorizo) and the kids had the cute little bluey drinks they were offering and shared a croissant. Everything was delicious, we especially enjoyed the breakfast burritos and I don't usually like breakfast burritos! A friend told me about this spot so we made the 30+ minute drive from Elk Grove to check it out. We went early on a Sunday morning so it was empty besides a couple other groups. This coffee shop is inside the brewery in the mornings which is a smart use of their space. They even roast their own beans! I liked their seasonal drink menu and definitely wanted to try something from there. I picked the berry pie mocha with oatmilk. It tasted like chocolate milk with the strawberry powder on top, so it's good if you like sweeter drinks and don't want too much of the coffee flavor. I would have liked a latte version instead without the chocolate, and even a fresh strawberry puree could level up this drink. I preferred my husband's earl grey latte, which was very creamy! It took a little while to get the drinks considering we didn't wait in line to order, but otherwise service was friendly. The space is huge inside and outside, there is no shortage of seating but I imagine it gets busy when the brewery opens. My favorite part is the playground outside, absolutely perfect for parents!! They definitely have the space to do a bigger play structure but I guess beggars can't be choosy. Wish more coffee shops/breweries had play areas for kids like this one! read more

Stopped here on the way home from camping and tried the iced guava latte. It was really good and unique, I would definitely order it again and/or try new things here. They also have a brewery/restaurant that I would check out as well. Next time I'm on the way to/from Ice House I'll stop by here again. The coffee wasn't great BUT the breakfast croissant was delicious, I would go again for that haha Maybe next time we will go to the restaurant since the food is good but the coffee was nothing to right home about. Moonraker has been on my list to try for quite some time and it did not disappoint! I visited for coffee on a Saturday morning. It's quite a large space. Both indoors and outside. Dog friendly patio. Kid friendly too. A great place to meet a small or large group or have an event! Large patio and outdoor seating as you approach the entrance and another smaller patio on the back side. The bar looks inviting. Some yummy wines listed in addition to beers on tap. I ordered a flat white and a warmed croissant. It was a little bit of a wait but you could see the staff working hard. It's a good place to slow down and think of who you'd want to invite to join you next time. lots of photo ops inside. Hops & greenery on the wall. Sweet little "Love you to the moon & back" sign. Even the merch was so cute. Dog collars and T shirts and stickers and more. It looks like there's a different food truck visiting daily. I can't wait to come back! read more

The Moonraker complex is just stunning. Beautifully designed, so many places to sit inside and out, and overall a great vibe. The coffee shop is tucked in the back and they have a big bar with a beautiful espresso machine and an impressive pour over setup like I've never seen. And they roast their own beans! Definitely 5 stars for the coffee. Servers were super friendly and helpful too. My only gripe was the food. The pumpkin muffin was fab but the chorizo burritos are pre-made and microwaved. Compared to their lunch/dinner food it was pretty disappointing. It looks like the breakfast sandwich is the same way. It appears the kitchen is not staffed for breakfast but if I wanted microwaved stuff I could go to Starbucks. I'd come back for coffee and pastries but wait for lunch or dinner to get food. read more

The way Moonraker is set up, there's a beer section in the middle, flanked by the cafe on one side and the eatery on the other. We ended up ordering and sitting at the cafe (which worked out for us since business was slow when we went in). That being said, the cafe was beautifully decorated; it was giving bohemian beach vibes. The staff were so kind and accommodating, and the barista whipped up a really yummy matcha! read more

It's too bad this place is only open for a short period of time, since their coffee bar is so good. I had their matcha and it was dynamite. It's a terrific physical plant. Huge airy spaces, parking , plenty of seating inside and out, Beer bar , good menu, full on coffee bar. Opens early! Prices are very good. Young staff is friendly and the Beer dude I talked with totally knew his stuff. I've gone pretty much during off hours and it's been 5 stars. If as mobbed as its size will allow I would probably take a pass , but that's me. Background music tracks are good choices for its target audience. It's set a bit loud for me. They have made a clear choice for no TV's so as to not be a " sports bar". Classy. This is best of breed operation I suspect they are gonna kill it. Definitely will return!! read more

i've been anxiously awaiting moonraker coffee and the day was FINALLY come! it's the first day of the soft opening so it wasn't slammed -- but with how cute this spot is, i can only imagine how packed this place will be! the current hours are 7:00am - 11:00am which is the perfect time to grab a coffee before work, grab a book and read, or have a coffee then a beer after ;) the staff immediately greeted us when we walked in. everyone is super kind and friendly -- which is on brand for moonraker staff! Helen was such a gem! the decorations and vibe are SO cute. absolutely love that they roast their own coffee, and for good reason, it's absolutely delicious. no burnt or bitter flavor here. if they're selling the prosciutto egg sammy when you're there, just do yourself a favor and order it. the married flavors of the egg, prosciutto, aioli, and arugula are truly *chefs kiss*. i absolutely love that we have a new coffee shop in the area that isn't corporate! run don't walk to Moonraker Coffee Roasters.. actually sprint ;) read more
