    You're so matcha cute!
    Jeff W.

I finally made it on a early morning to rock at society. I went in for the house made pop-tart and renown drummer signature drink, "the Mike Johnston Matcha". Unfortunately the pop-tarts were sold out and I ended up just getting an oat matcha but still had a cozy time on a cold rainy day in April. Service was rad, the new gal on cash was slaying. Barista was friendly and being an owner of a rocket espresso machine, their large rocket machine is pretty sweet too! The vibes here are so good, a legit hidden gem if you will and I hope you visit!

Ambiance: Not the best experience on a Sunday. The space felt small and the lines were long, which made it pretty crowded. Service: The staff was great--very friendly and helpful. Coffee: Excellent quality, though a bit on the expensive side. Food: My daughter said the breakfast tacos were excellent. I had the bowl, which was good but quite spicy. The portion felt a little small for the price.

Cute coffee shop with plenty of options to choose from. Their coffee was delicious and on the stronger side. Also tried their matcha, which personally I wanted more of the matcha taste. Plenty of seating options. Easy to find. Staff was very friendly.

I wasn't really a fan of this place. I ended up ordering a burrito for 18 dollars and a flavorless lemonade that was extremely disappointing. I ended up spending close to 30 dollars for nothing. Food was very flavorless, which is why I needed a sauce. The service was very slow and it was crowded when I came in, don't think the ac was working either. I would suggest saving your money and going somewhere actually worth the price. For the money I spent I could've gotten a really good meal instead of a unflavored meal.

First of all: they don't have a phone!!!!! And I confirmed that when I got there! I wanted to call in an order because I wanted to have it done by a certain time - which you can't do it on their online platform. Getting there I was helped by this girl who clearly didn't want to be there. She was coughing and coughing behind the counter. Super gross and unsanitary. The barista guy was nice and I left a tip because of him mostly. Cute place - I ordered 13 coffees and it took forever to be done. I really wanted to like this place. But I can't back it up. The tesora coffee I ordered was good. Expensive place too. I will not return. But the vibe is cool - it's very San Francisco kind of coffee shop vibe.

The directions to this coffee shop using Waze took us to a lower level parking lot. Sociology is street level so wet has to go up a couple flights of stairs. Consider parking on the street to avoid the stairs. Cute spot. Make sure to ask questions about the menu - they have a cortado but it's not called that. Good luck and enjoy!

Food & Drinks: I ordered the Iced Teddy Graham, which features bourbon vanilla, espresso with iced coffee, chocolate bitters, and oat milk. The drink leaned much more on the bitter side than I expected. I also tried the Avocad-OMG toast. It was a very small and simple slice of toast topped with avocado--no egg or additional toppings. For $13.50, it felt pretty underwhelming in size and presentation. Location & Parking: Parking and locating the shop were both a bit tricky. The front side of the building doesn't have street parking directly in front--only across a busy street. The back side of the building sits on a lower level, so you have to go up to the 3rd level using stairs or an elevator to reach the café. My GPS initially brought me to the backside near other businesses, and there were no signs or directions pointing to the coffee shop, which made it confusing to find. Ambiance: Inside, the shop has an intimate and cozy feel. A few groups were dining in and chatting, giving it a relaxed vibe for a weekday morning. Service: The cashier/barista was very friendly and took my order right away. My drink and food were prepared quickly, which I appreciated since I was on a schedule. Overall: I was in the area for an appointment and decided to try something new. While the service was great, the drink and food didn't quite hit the mark for me, and the parking/location challenges were a downside. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return, but it was an interesting spot to try once.

SERVICE: counter style, kind of clunky when busy due to no pager system to alert you when your order is ready so you either need to cluster up in limited available inside space or constantly pop inside from the patio to check on your order. Not a big deal, but meh. AMBIANCE: small inside, lovely patio FLAVORS: Matcha (3/5) Teddy graham (4/5) Carnitas taco (2/5) - beautiful, but dry and not that flavorful. PORTIONS: reasonable PRICE: pricey, but location and open hours make it worth it

Shop ? On point and cute. Food? Freaking awesome! Hit the spot and tacos are a must if you come here. Drinks ? Duh they were perfect after coming off the lake from SUP. In all this place is a must if you're in the area.. the staff is inviting and personable.

I've had this place bookmarked on my Yelp for awhile. I took advantage of being in the area for the Folsom Farmers Market to check this place out. I was pleasantly surprised to see the menu offering alcoholic beverages. Because it was early in the morning and I didn't want anything like that, I opted for a matcha with oat milk. This tasted great! If I didn't eat already, I would have ordered something. The people who placed a food order and drink order got a breakfast burrito and after looking at it, I am envious that I didn't get one. That's okay, it is my excuse to go next time. I will be back to try other drinks and bites. I definitely recommend this place for dining in because its cute inside and there's also some outdoor seating.

We were looking for a cafe that has a few different coffees and tea drinks. This spot did not disappoint. Such a nice location, ample seating inside and out. We tried the breakfast tacos along with a chocolate chip muffin. We loved the chat on the tortilla, totally added that extra something to the breakfast tacos. Great spot to stop by, when your taking a walk through old Folsom

    Kokonut Karma and Teddy Graham
    Gabby R.

Such a cute and trendy little coffee spot near downtown Folsom! I popped in on a Sunday afternoon after paddle boarding at Black Miners Bar and grabbed the Teddy Graham latte and the Kokonut Karma. Since I signed up for their mailing list, I got a BOGO coupon, but the Kokonut Karma still ran me about $12. The Teddy Graham was solid--sweet and cozy but nothing too crazy, probably a 6/10. The Kokonut Karma, though, totally caught me off guard. It barely tasted like coffee and was super tropical with the pineapple, coconut cream, and lime. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I was drinking coffee or tea, but it was still really yummy and refreshing. Just a heads up, the summer specials are a little pricey. The staff was nice, though a bit distracted chatting with other guests. The vibe here is super chill and relaxed--I can definitely see this place being packed with students or people coworking. I'd for sure come back to try their food and other drinks next time I'm in the area.

I liked my lavender iced latte and like the fact that they serve it in a large mug if you plan to drink it at the cafe, it had that extra, comforting touch that I love when hanging at a coffee shop. The room we sat in had a beautiful cherry tree draped in cherry blossoms as well as a cute neon sign, perfect for pics, as well as comfy chairs, a love seat and a table as well as a large window that brought in plenty of sunlight. There's another room on the left side of the cafe but I didn't have a chance to check it out since we left to get lunch at Belly. According to my friend, the room is gorgeous as well; I'll have to check it out next time I visit. They had a lot of scrumptious-looking dessert but they were a little out of my budget. They're beautiful though, and I'd try one for a special occasion (the coffee bean dessert cost $20). The cashier (owner, I'm guessing?) was welcoming and helpful when I said it was my 1st time there and pointed out a list of specials. I'll have to try the cherry blossom and banana drinks in the future! They have private shared parking with a bunch of other businesses; I found a spot easily on a recent Saturday morning. Thank you!

If you are looking for wonderful pictures, wonderful ambience, then this place is totally worth the visit. However if you are looking to eat delicious food, then this place is definitely not it. Their crepes are premade and after visiting them 2 times, the only thing I think they are doing is reheating and serving them. First time we went in, we ordered the Ricotta Crepes. These came in looking beautiful but they were extremely hot on one side and cold (almost from a refrigerator) on other side. Clearly precooked & refrigerated but then microwaved and the whipped cream and fruit compote was added on top. Next time, the same crepe was at least warm overall but the chicken mushroom crepe definitely was reheated in a pan. Coffees are pretty basic as well. But you overall pay a premium for the nice decor. I feel that some other places such as Julian's in Folsom and CT In Cameron Park were much better taste wise and if not for just the decor and ambiance I'd totally avoid this place.

There was plenty of seating on the shady patio, but it was really hot outside, so we opted to wait for a table inside. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect vibe that we were looking for, comfortable, but classy. And the food was high-quality and tasty. We will definitely be back!

While our server was polite, the service was quite slow throughout the meal, despite the restaurant being fairly empty at the time. Overall, the excellent food helped make up for some of the service issues, but the rude greeting and slow service took away from what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner. I hope management addresses these concerns, as the kitchen is clearly doing a great job.

Still had to wait 30 minutes even with a reservation. The restaurant is very large and split into sections. We were seated at a tall table with tall chairs in the bar area. Not very comfortable if you plan to stay a bit and talk or enjoy your meal. The atmosphere was noisy and the more alcohol served, the louder it became. I'm not a morning drinker (don't drink at all anymore actually) but the sparkling wine and champagne menu was very impressive. Lots of choices and ways to flavor your beverage if you like it fruity. Mimosa House is the name of the place afterall and they offer about 30 different flavors. The menu is HUGE. An actual book of pages and pages of breakfast & brunch items. I must have changed my mind 100 times while trying to decide whether to have breakfast or lunch. Our waiter was nice enough and must have thought we were all OK enough for him to drop a few F-bombs while tending to our table. I wasn't offended but a few at our table commented on it. Everyone at our table chose breakfast items, from strawberry French toast to chorizo skillets. I was the odd one and had the Mimosa House Club ($22): It had the third layer of bread which no one takes time with anymore but the "house spread," a cream cheese layer they add was just not right. Lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, avocado, bacon, sliced turkey, & shaved ham were good on the grilled sourdough but I wouldn't order again unless the cream cheese was removed. It was served with fries but I subbed a bowl of fresh fruit. Lots of vegetarian options and even the Kid's menu was decent. Some gluten-free options too. Parking can be hard. All street with nothing directly out front and handicapped spots nearby is sparse. No stairs or steps inside or outside but it is tight and cramped inside the restaurant. They have nice patio seating and I might have chosen that if I were the one making the reservation. Overall a nice place for breakfast & drinks.

The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. I always get and highly suggest Cooter's Country Eggs Benedict. It's Southern biscuits & gravy, but they throw two fried eggs and sausage patties on top of the biscuits before covering it all in gravy and add country fried potatoes on the side. Thankfully, their iced tea is brewed there (none of that awful machine iced tea!), and they serve it in a huge, oversized plastic cup. Best of all, when I was paying my bill, the food server offered to make the tea to go. She got a huge to-go cup and brought it back half-filled with iced tea. Worse for us since our neighboring table decided to watch something on his phone without headphones... The food looked incredible, but flavor simply wasn't there. The best thing I had was the waffle alone and the gravy. The chicken was dry- obviously fried previously and reheated for the order. The waffle had great flavor and texture. The syrup was thick and of good quality. The Sunnyside up eggs were slightly undercooked with the whites runny which left my 11-year old only having a few bites. The hashbrowns we're not crispy and not well seasoned. My over-easy eggs were cooked perfectly, but the ham steak was also shockingly unseasoned (it wasn't even salty, to my surprise). The biscuit was HUGE and looked incredible but when bitten into immediately turned to mush- it felt like eating dough. If it were cooked just a few minutes longer, it would have been the best thing we ordered. The gravy was the best flavored item. Oh, as well as their homemade raspberry jam. Delicious! In all, I'd recommend very basic foods like the waffles, bacon, and eggs. Everything else was mid and be aware of a super loud, small space.
