    A roach on the bed
    Kemani W.

The hotel looks nice from the outside, but has roaches on the inside. My room was switched three times I asked for a refund and the police were called on me. Please do not waste your money at this hotel. I'm attaching pictures as well.

Just a quick update: I stay here once or twice a month. Been doing that for two years. It is an older building but they've renovated and keep it very clean. The room service is tasty and well priced. The best part is the staff. Sylvia and Joseph at the front desk make you feel like you've come home. Robert and Moe in the restaurant remember your name and coffee preferences. Sure there are fancier hotels, but none will beat this location for kindness and courtesy... aren't those traits sorely missed these days?

Closet door just filthy. This is months of housekeeping and room inspections seeing this and thinking this is ok.

I checked into the Doubletree by Hilton Atlanta North Druid Hills when I got into my room. I went to the front desk, as I wanted to give them a chance to do the right thing. Spoke with Parshen she advised that she would have to see it'll they are sold out and if not they would be able to more me.. otherwise it wouldn't be until tomorrow. Instead of taking 10 min to look in the system so see if they were sold out, she said she would call up to the room. After 45 min I went back to the front desk and she still didn't have an answer. The issues: Bathroom door frame and hinges rusted Tub drain rusted Closer door frame and wall filthy and Grimm ( months of not being clean) Shower head plate not secured Photos posted My advise STAY AWAY

Worst stay I've ever had, they have cockroaches in their room and didn't even accommodate me to stay somewhere. Don't stay at this place, unsanitary.

    ROACHES!!!

Worst customer service!!! Booked an extra night so I would have a room when I arrived at 8am.... Mind you, I had checked in the night before ...room was given away!! I'll had to wait till 1pm to get my room that I paid for in advance. While waiting in the lobby I found some friends running around, ROACHES!!!! Finally get my room and wake up and o roommates, again ROACHES!!! NOW HERES THE KICKER.... When I told the front desk I got eye rolls and , " what do you want me to do about it"! LOL Um... get me a new room with roaches, apologize for the inconvenience, don't act like it's my fault!! Lol!! HILTON YIU HAVE FAIL ME !!

Very accommodating. Note: Renovation Project just starting. It's an older property but the bed is the same! Buffet was fresh and hot. Ask service elements were attended to a guests. That's why ... my hotel will always be Hilton

I booked 2 rooms on July 25th, 2022 for the weekend of 8/12 - 8/13 for my brother's bday. On check-in day, I put my card in the machine for what I thought was for having one on file for the stay just incase we order breakfast or something, but the desk clerk, Josh, charged my account for the first room for $445. I told him that I prepaid for my rooms. He was so rude. He said that that they didn't have a record of it so it isn't paid for. I then showed him my printed confirmation email and showed him the charge on my bank app. He told me that because it said Memphis, it wasn't for this hotel. I showed him on the reservation their address and the dates for the reservation. He said he didn't see it, but he would take my word for it, then gave me my other set of room keys. I asked for a refund or cancellation confirmation and he told me when he gets the line down, he would process my refund. I said ok and proceeded to my rooms. In one room, One of the beds was unmade with the bedding on the chair and the counter area wasn't fixed up. In the other room, it had water damage on the ceiling, no end table, broken phone cord, mold in the bathroom, etc. And then I got an email notification that ANOTHER $445 hold had been put on my account. That means I now did not have access to about $890 on my trip. I immediately went down to the lobby, waited in line AGAIN and told them about the charge and asked for a refund confirmation. The male desk clerk told me I would have to talk to the female clerk to get it resolved. When she was finally ready, I explained to her the issue with the double charges and showed her my reservation and my bank statement. She acted as if I didn't know what I was talking about because of the bank statement saying Memphis instead of Atlanta. I once again showed her the confirmation with their address for my reservation. She tried to tell me that the prices didn't even match so it can't be correct and asked if I booked through a third-party. I told her that the price I paid was for the discounted rate I chose on the Hilton website and showed her the HILTON WEBSITE CONFIRMATION PAGE. I then asked for her to get a manager. She was unavailable. So I asked her to call Hilton. She advised me that their phones were down so I had to call from my phone. I made the call and the customer service representative advised me that he saw my payment noted on the 26th of July and they sent it to this hotel on the 28th of July. After hanging up with Hilton, I was told that I wouldn't be charged and that they now have my prepayment noted. I asked for a confirmation for my record and he told me he couldn't print it and to get it in the morning. The next morning, the morning shift, which were very respectful and helpful, advised that she would pass my all the information along to the manager. When we got back that afternoon, the manager guaranteed I wouldn't be charged and apologized for the hold. The next day after I checked out, I was in fact charged for a total of $711.18. I was embarrassed enough dealing with the rude night shift, but the rooms were nothing like the pictures and were completely unacceptable to Hilton standards, the night staff were unprofessional. I went my whole trip without access to $890 of my own money, and then was still double charged. It is September 1st And I still don't have my full refund yet. My whole weekend and Atlanta experience was ruined. The only good thing about this experience was the cookies. It is 9/1/22 and I am STILL waiting on my FULL REFUND. Customer service keeps giving me the runaround it seems between reaching out to the property and "investigating" the complaint. I love DoubleTree hotels, but I will NEVER stay there in ATL again.

Well it's a shame I have to write this review. Let's start my saying that.... THEY HAVE ROACHES!!! I booked late Friday night after arriving on a late flight from Florida. I checked in with a gentleman named Jason. He was Pleasant. He checked me into room 303 which faced the back parking lot. Since I enjoy the city lights I asked him to move me to another room so I can see something other than a pack parking lot. He then moved me to room 423 and my stay here became a nightmare!! I went out for the night and got back to three property late that night and went straight to bed. Upon waking up that morning and using the bathroom. I glanced something run pass my feet. I turned on all the lights and got a better look! To my utter surprise it was a ROACH!! I immediately called the front desk to tell them out the pest and how disgusted I was. The desk agent Ciera stated " well we'll refund you BUT you booked through a 3rd party" the 3rd party was "HOTEL TONIGHT" and I would have to call them to ask for a refund. Now mind you I didn't ask for a refund but after being told that I was completely displeased because this is a health and cleanliness issue especially in the midst of a pandemic...clearly the right cleaning procedures where not being performed. Moving on, I asked to be moved to another room but had to wait until after 3 when house keeping was done. I then asked to speak to a manager but was quickly dismissed because she was off for the weekend but Ciera was under strict instructions to NOT refund third party booking for whatever made up reasons they set in place. I then asked to speak with the house keeping manager to insure my next room would be spotless so I could continue the rest of my stay comfortably. Once again, I was dismissed! She proceeded to tell me that's an engineer problem not hers! I was so livid and disgusted I called an Uber and took my luggage because I wasn't comfortable leaving it there until another room was available. I gave Ciera my number to call me when the new room was available. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL! Needless to say I didn't respond. I emailed "Hotels Tonight" they reached out to the hotel staff to see how they can mutually accommodate me but was also told that they can't and won't help me due to third party booking. I'll be calling corporate and the general manager after the holiday to file a complaint and as well as Atlanta health department! I worked in hospitality for years and would never treat a guest the way I was treated, especially being a Hilton honor member. I had to get my clothes dry cleaned and sanitized as well as luggage. Just to insure I didn't bring pest back home or to my next destination! This experience was the worst!! I'll never stay book this place again! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNSANITARY! Wouldn't recommend!!!!

I was super excited because I've never been here but have heard nothing less than stellar things and I must say from the time I pulled up to the valet on a Friday at 4:30 in the afternoon, the staff did everything they could to make us feel like we were the only ones in the building. Luckily when I arrived things were fairly calm so getting all settled with the valet service took less than three minutes and he was kind enough to let me know exactly where to go for further assistance after asking me if I knew where I was headed. Starting off with a smile and kindness is always the way to a great experience. Once I made my way inside, I was immediately taken by the grandness of the lobby area and the front desk reception staff member was hilarious and made me feel like royalty even though I wasn't a true guest. I'm just saying, pleasant interactions can go a loooonnngggg way. She called up to my friend's room, walked me to the elevator, asked if I needed any further assistance and told me exactly how to get there. Once I got off the elevator, I fell in love with the calming lavender smell that moved through the hallway and my goodness, this place was just quiet. The room itself was spacious, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the balcony area was a nice retreat to just hang outside and enjoy a nice evening since it wasn't full on stifling GA heat that night. We called to room service several times and it was as though we called and they would just appear with what we needed in a matter of second. Pure magic. We made our way to Bar Margot for apps and drink and enjoyed the DJ for a bit before we made our way back to the room. The service was good. The food was good and they happily validated our parking so that was wonderful. Such an amazing experience here. Now I understand why folks like staying here because you truly feel like your every need is taken care of!

I also stayed here a few years ago while going through a breakup and had a pretty solid stay then as well. One of the biggest positives is the location. It's in a great area as far as accessibility to the city, and there are plenty of places within walking distance. I was even able to walk to a pub that was open late and had some of the best mozzarella sticks right around the corner. I saw some reviews mentioning concerns about the area and people hanging around the hotel, but I personally didn't experience any of that during either of my stays. The main front doors were closed for most of my recent visit, possibly for security, so guests used the side entrance. There were always employees there monitoring that entrance, which I appreciated. The rooms are spacious, and I really like how some of the floors have little study and lounge areas that give the hotel a nice aesthetic. My only real complaint was a leak my mom had reported that was never addressed. It caused a dripping sound throughout the night, but thankfully we were able to close the door and tune it out. I would definitely stay here again. I'm not sure whether they normally offer free breakfast since breakfast was included with the conference, but if they don't, that would be a nice addition. I love the mirrors in the rooms but also the light near the front of our room was on a consistent dim setting like the bulb was about to blow

All the goodies were there, SF syrup, real sugar, fake sugar, creamer, oatmeal creamer. Loved this option and returned fir refills throughout out work day & it was always hot & ready! Another 5 star experience here. Let's get to the overall staff - Callie and Taral - High Five ladies!! The 2 valet guys at the front- awesome work gentlemen!!! So in all- I think a solid 4
