Rooms are overall clean. Breakfast is not included. Bathrooms are pretty small. Location is walking distance to downtown area. Not the nicest area though and a lot closest to early around the hotel. Service isn't great. When I asked about a pin for the peloton the front desk could have cared less they didn't offer any help or to go check it out.

Catered food at the Doubletree featuring cheese and crackers.

Went there for a catered happy hour event. Wonderful service and great food. Plenty of cheese, bread, meatballs, and veggies. Decent draft beer selection (about 6 beers, 3 local).

Everything was nice and good ..the housekeeping staff are really nice and there to help in any way possible .. the restaurant food is good too .. restaurant and the lobby area are large ..

I had no interaction with the hotel staff (concierge, restaurant and housekeeping) due to digital check-in, fee breakfast and a short length of stay. I normally stay at the Hampton Inn on State Street when I am in the area for work and felt this hotel was more modern but not a more comfortable stay. Breakfast not being complimentary is a huge negative and the bathroom is SMALL. Additionally, the shower has a metal plate to cover the drain which yields the most obnoxious noise when trying to unwind in a shower after arriving from a long day of travel. The Keurig in the room is an upgrade from the nearby Hampton Inn with Green Mountain Coffee. Overall it was a comfortable stay but I think on my future trips to Schenectady I will opt for the Hampton Inn.

Very elegant and upgraded, staff was great.

Eggs, bacon, cereal, juice the usual. Gym: Nice size, bunch of equipment, and amazingly nothing was broken!? Pool/Spa: whirlpool was down, and the swimming pool was a little small. Dinning Area: Large area, and plenty of seating. Prices: A little on the expensive side, really much more than expected and for a standard King room $121 a night is steep. Parking: Plenty of space, side and back private lots. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and decent in size. Atmosphere: During the winter, pretty slow. I did not wait long at the desk, Christmas tree and menorah up in the lobby. Nice electric fireplace gave it elegance. Staff/Attendants: Staff was Great, Lady at the front counter was nice, and respectful. Nice experience! 8/10

Room was not as picture described. Paid for a King room pictures showed working desk and chair. My…read moreroom had a wobbly round desk and a fabric covered chair. I am a working photographer with a deadline for pictures so I called the front desk and was told by whoever answered she was new and they were booked so she couldn't offer help or a room switch. The internet wouldn't connect (got an IP address but never got a login page popup in my browser) either via the Wifi and again she had no answers for me other than come down to the lobby. I spent 90 minutes debugging the problem with chatGPT and ultimately got the phone number from there to call Hilton tech support and they whitelisted my IP address meaning they put no restrictions on it to login etc it just started working. There were only enough linens for one person and there was no bath mat in the bathroom. The power plugs by the bed didn't work, and I have a CPAP machine so I had to pull the bed away from the wall and unplug the wall lights to plug it in there. I plugged my iphone into the USB-C plug by the bed and in the morning my phone was dead so that didn't work either. I parked in a handicap spot (I have a placard) and between me on the end and the next car was an access aisle which is hatched with diagonal lines. Some over privileged yahoo decided to wedge his car in between illegally on top of the access aisle. I ultimately had to call the town police to get them come down to the hotel to make the patron move their car because it was so close to my door I couldn't open it. I called the front desk before checking out and again no manager was available. I called again an hour later and still no manager. I wrote an email to the address on my invoice and it took 48 hours to get a response that they were offering me 10000 honors points for my trouble. I found that unacceptable and called and spoke to Ms. Carrie Friello who was rude to me said that's all they were offering back was the points said have a nice day and then hung up on me. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

The owners of this Best Western should be ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!…read more We booked the room for Thurs. night. Graduations were going on so getting a room anywhere was difficult. The reviews and rating didn't seem too bad so we weren't expecting this many issues. As soon as we opened the door the smell hit us. Cigarettes, body odor, a dank moldy smell, and food. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom was filthy with urine and pubic hairs all over the floor. MY SHOES STUCK TO THE BATHROOM FLOOR. THE BED WAS MADE DIRTY. There were disgusting stains on the bedskirt and hairs on the pillows. Broken furniture, dusty lamps with wiring and cords poorly stretched and exposed. Filthy fridge and microwave. A sticky film on the television. Did not even touch the remote. Went downstairs to see if there was a different room available and had to wait while two separate guests chewed out the poor front desk guy for the same reasons we were needing a different room! I've worked in hotels for years. I know that you have to keep up with housekeeping hiring and FIRINGS! Hotels are not "at the mercy of their housekeeping staff" if they pay fair wages and hire good people. This room and the overall condition of the hotel is a direct result of HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Message to management: Get out of the hotel business because this is BEYOND FAILURE. When your front desk agent gives you a nearly empty can of room deodorizer there is a MAJOR PROBLEM. We took our chances and resigned to sleeping in our vehicle and informed the agent we could not stay in that room. Fortunately he helped us with a refund (which has yet to show up). If we do not see the refund in our account soon we will be pursuing further action because this room was hazardous to health and safety. We couldn't even stay five mins in that room and were lucky to get one elsewhere. The front desk agent was embarrassed and really maintained a professional demeanor while dealing with multiple complaints. This hotel would be lucky to keep him but something tells me he will find a better employer and better working conditions. Additional information: No elevator (not handicap friendly). New pool, old everything else. Parking lot damage (potholes). Key fobs on exterior entrances don't always work.

I'm shocked in even writing this review trying to think if I could've been wrong about something…read moresomewhere , somehow???But NOPE!! My stay was a nightmare from hell. The cost of us staying was over $200 and our room key and toilet was unusable. Our toliet was clogged from when we entered the room, had to get someone fix that but while waiting on an short line I found out that this issue effected other guests and had also not been fixed the first time around. We weren't able to use our own toilet at this point we decided , it may be best to leave at midnight. Too tired we decided to stay and checkout as early as possible. I was in this bed trying to find other open hotels because of how bad this was. The phone in our room was broken, some of the lighting fixtures were broken as well. Avoid avoid AVOID! There's much nicer hotels for the same price in the same 2 mile radius.
