My family had three separate rooms here during our trip to Ocean City. I would choose to stay here again. Everyone liked their room. Front desk workers were friendly. I can see staff works hard here. Decent amenities-- there were three pools (2 outdoor, 1 indoor), a very beautiful outside area, small gym, restaurant and shop in the hotel. Rooms were nice . Free cookies. Had to knock off a star because it was not as clean as it could be. The deadbolt had some weird harden substance on it. The baseboards and ceiling above shower needed to be cleaned as well. Additionally, the hot tub was more a lukewarm tub. We did stay on a Monday-Tuesday so don't know how the hotel holds up on busier days. Parking is $10 a night and property is right in front of the beach read more

We had an almost perfect stay at the doubletree Hilton. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. The pool looked fun as there was always people in there or the hot tub. The hot cookies were amazing and made check in nice lol The balcony was big enough and great views for a partial view but close when your neighbor is out on there balcony and smoking makes it so you don't want to be out there any. Plus late one night they were out smoking and you could hear their conversation from your bed while trying to sleep. One issue we had was at 5:30am the one morning the Hilton next door may have been doing renovations and a truck came to empty/pick up the flatbed dumpsters and of course that was extremely loud and woke us up. And it didn't stop there. Tons of deliveries until atleast 7:30am with the trucks backing up and constantly beeping. Again it's not the hotels fault but that made the whole day for us just miserable to the point we left that evening so we knew we could get a good nights sleep. It would just be nice if deliveries could start at the earliest 7am and I get it's off season but they should be respecting people who are there vacationing and still spending good money. I just know in the future to book an ocean front room hoping that won't wake us up again. read more

This is a nice Hotel on the Beach. Up farther from the Boardwalk if you don't want all the noise. It has a mini Kitchenette that serves its purpose and a Bathroom and a half, 2 Toilets and Sinks which is a plus. One Toilet has its own separate closet and the other is in a regular Bathroom with a Sink and Tub/ Shower. So that's good if you are sharing a room they can have their own for more privacy. The Room was clean and the Beds comfortable. The Hotel has an indoor and outdoor Pool, a Restaurant, Gift Shop, and Lounge areas. The Staff is friendly and greets you each time you enter the Building. Highly recommend this place. read more

Wonderful Ocean Front Resort Hotel! One of my oldest friends reserved this "perfect place" for our reunion of four old men. We have all been friends since the 1960s! We try to get to gather annually now. The location is central in Ocean City. Our rooms were beach front and very well priced. The restaurant in the hotel offers a delicious happy Hour! I can't recommend it enough! The food was outstanding and the service was first class. We partied out on the patio as the sun set. We enjoyed a short walk to a variety of touristy restaurants and and activities. The liquor store next door has an excellent deli for lunch on the beach! The Double Tree offers top quality amenities, and wonderful, attentive service. Since the hotel is significantly smaller than the adjacent properties our beach was less crowded and the atmosphere was more chill. I would be delighted to come here every year! read more

We had a good time at this hotel. Despite there was a cheerleaders tournament going on. We were told by someone here. It didn't disturb us. We had a top level floor room away from it all. We were actually in town for a Mardi Gra themed Dinner concert in Salisbury. Which is about thirty minutes away. I wanted to stay in Ocean city and we selected an oceanfront room. The views were amazing. This room was fully equipped with cooking equipment. A stove full size refrigerator, microwave. Coffee was great in the room each morning. The bed was comfortable. The room was cleaned to my standards so I was impressed there. We also had a sofa and table to watch TV while winding down. Pretty good cable channel selections but who comes to Ocean City to watch a lot of tv right? Not with the balcony view here. This location also provides an indoor ramped parking garage. Which was free. Not sure if that works in season but we stayed off season and it was definitely free. The restaurant located in the hotel breakfast was very good. It was a separate fee for breakfast. They also have a Starbucks located in the lobby. I could see myself returning to this location again if I wanted to stay in OCMD. Lots of nearby eateries within walking distance. read more

The room we had was very nice , the balcony overlooking the ocean is a great view especially in the winter when it's not so crowded. After staying at the Hilton Oceanfront and suites the last few visits. We decided to try the double tree next to it. Price range here seems 300-500 compared to next door with most standard rooms 600-800 in season. These are prices with diamond guarantee.... Meaning that they are fully booked and save like one or two rooms for Diamond members. I will say that the rooms were nice and spacious. They had full kitchens and a large shower which is great for rinsing off sand! The gym had three cardio machines and dumbbells to 50lbs. The indoor pool has a nice whirlpool and was warm like a sauna. Probably due to the greenhouse effect from the atrium windows. The outdoor pool does the trick and the fire pit with the palms and sand is a nice touch. Marlin moon had solid food and it was nice to use the Hilton honors credit with the 20% off breakfast every morning. The breakfast buffet was great yo get the family fed early for morning beach time. We ordered from the lunch menu one afternoon and it hit the spot! The beach on 33 is great. It is never crazy busy. You can watch the surf events and classes on 36th from a high floor view. The location is prime. Walking distance from the boardwalk and most of the great restaurants. Anthony's for milk, ice cream, alcohol, and sandwiches. If you have young kids carousel, and oceanfront and suites has nice amenities. However both can be very crowded. If you want a smaller crowd and amenities that cater to young adults on up. Doubletree is definitely the better option. read more

We went for the weekend, made and paid for an OCEANFRONT room and got a side room with a city view... asked the very rude, on the phone constantly, front desk representative and she dismissed our request, said there was nothing available as we asked... we've always liked Doubletree Hotels, NOT THIS ONE... so aware when making reservations here!!! We have stayed here 6 times in the past and always had a wonderful experience. In town for a conference and booked 2 rooms and sadly much has changed. The customer experience/comfort is no longer a priority for this management team. While the price continues to go up, service has declined. In order to cut corners, they set all thermostats at 68 and although they have ability to override, they won't. Update.. they did just bring a fan and offered to discuss with engineers tomorrow so we'll see how it works out. read more

Doing a quick and dirty one night stay is usually not a great judge of a property but at the end of the day, hell, it still happened so it gets reviewed. Parking: The parking lot is fairly narrow and has multiple levels. We were there on a somewhat busy Saturday and parked all the way at the top level. In season there's no way this has enough space. Random security issue/quirk: The 2nd and 3rd levels of the parking lot have direct access via doors to the 2nd and 3rd floor of the hotel. Two problems with that. 1. You need a key and that night nobody's digital key was working on either door. 2. The 3rd floor door does not close all the way if you're heading out to the parking lot. This equaled that once we had to go downstairs and through the lobby for no reason and the second time we came back, the door was sitting open on the latch for anyone to come in. Telling the front desk about both equaled an apathetic stare and when we left in the morning the door was back open on the latch for anyone to come in. Room: Overall very nice. Good size TV, outlets galore and a nice 1.5 bath setup that is very smart. If you get one of the rooms that are fully ocean front they truly can't be beat for the view. A+ on this one. Not to forget the full size fridge, cabinets, microwave and stove. Worth mentioning are the beds. Excellent! Restaurant: While we looked at the menu...it's very narrow in focus with way too many items listed at market price or that are simply hotel priced. Desk: If you like apathy, no cookies like the rest of the DT chain does and no mention of your HH status then this place is for you. No Bueno on any of it. Overall it's a solid room which looks nice and is well appointed for a longer family stay at the beach. Our limited staff interactions leave a bit to be desired as does this properties adherence to HH standards. While nice, I think we'll stick with the Hilton Suites next door going forward. read more

Website photos a little deceiving especially size of pools. Finally made it in However this was a bust and I won't go back. It was not up to the Hilton chain standard of cleanliness. I checked into a very leaky room and it was downhill from there. The good thing was poolside location couldn't have been better for my kid. Bad side is there wasn't a better room available to move to. Management and maintenance WERE very responsive so that was also a good thing. I just returned from OC, the room & view was nice (room 603). The front desk staff aren't welcoming. Ms Grace was very friendly everyday, greeted with a smile & always said enjoy your day. The front desk, they are bothered when asking questions. I wanted a late checkout, why do I need to check back on the day I check out and wait for housekeeping to call to say if it's okay. I never received the call so I just checked out at 11 am. Being a diamond member doesn't matter when you stay here. I wished we could use our F&B voucher at another Hilton property. read more

Three nights, three rooms. Mold, bed bugs and racism. I had a truly terrible experience during my three-night stay. On arrival, I found mold on the bathroom ceiling and in the kitchenette area, along with a leaking toilet. Management moved me to a different room, but the next morning, I discovered a bed bug in my bed and later found multiple bites on my body. Management confirmed they were indeed bed bugs! To make matters worse, while moving my belongings to a third room, one of the staff insinuated that people often plant bed bugs themselves to get free rooms and then asked me, "Where are you from?" I couldn't believe my ears! I ended up having to throw out some clothing and other items to avoid bringing any bugs home. I'm now dealing with bites all over my body and will need medical attention. This place is not worth the hassle. Do yourself a favor and avoid it! read more

Ocean City in the winter time has more to offer than it did once upon a time. We found many good restaurants open even on a freezing cold weekend. This was my first time staying at this particular Doubletree hotel, and I really enjoyed my experience. The rooms felt fresh and clean, our ocean view was beautiful, and I liked having access to an in-room kitchen. The hot tub was large and was a perfect temperature for me. We visited it every day on our four-day weekend. My only complaint was the pool. We were told that it is heated, but it was far too cold to swim in, even for the children in our group. I'm not sure who thought that it was a good idea to place the pool in full view of the lobby, the parking garage, and the street, but I felt a little like a zoo animal on display. However, even that wouldn't have stopped me if the pool was comfortable. I looked longingly at the sparkling water and tried several times to get in, but I just couldn't do it. I would definitely visit this location again, but I might be more insistent next time about asking them to raise the temperature of the pool water. read more

We stayed at this Hilton Oceanfront hotel for one night on Saturday, October 26th, and it was such a delightful experience! The digital check-in through the Hilton app made everything so easy and efficient. We were able to drive straight into the free garage parking and use my phone to open the garage and our room door--no need to stop at the front desk. This modern convenience was a fantastic start to our stay. Our room, number 403, was absolutely beautiful and spotless. The view was incredible, offering stunning sights of the ocean, sunrise, and sunset. The full-size kitchen was an amazing bonus, equipped with everything we could possibly need--utensils, plates, and even a clean baking sheet inside the oven. It was clear the hotel put thought into every detail. Also there is a restaurant inside the hotel, it's bit expensive but very convenient if you don't want to go outside. While we did notice a few flying insects in the room, it didn't detract from our overall experience. We loved our time there and will definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to Ocean City. read more

King room with beach view 8th floor was great for 2 person. Room was about 500 sq. ft with a small kitchen (stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher) Everything was clean. The décor is kind of retro. Bed was ok. The room and bathroom were clean. The view was spectacular at night during the nights (March). Things I like: - It's updated and new looking - The staff was friendly and nice - The room is comfortable with responsive air conditioning - 2 outdoor pools and an indoor pool - beachfront property - AMAZING breakfast!!! - warm cookies at the front desk Things I didn't like: - our bathroom smelled like pee when we got there and the smell didn't go away - the kitchen didn't have any napkins or paper towels. Not practical with a family - we had to call the front desk to get sheets and blankets for the pull out couch at 11:00 p.m. the first night when we realized they weren't in the closet like every other Hilton hotel we stay in. Great view of the ocean and the room is huge! I love the ocean so I would come here even in the winter. Also, the price was super cheap in the winter season. The room had an amazing view. I could hear ocean waves at night and it was so soothing. The room is a lot bigger than I thought. The room has 2 queen beds, 1 bathroom and an additional toilet, small kitchen (pots & pans included), a living room, a couch, and a desk. The beds are pretty comfy and clean. The decor is nice and modern with beach theme. The employees were friendly when I checked in. Two things made me deduct a star. First, the coffee machine filter wasn't clean. The housekeeper needs to do a better job at cleaning. Second, the wall is thin so you can hear noises from the other rooms and upstairs. Overall, it was enjoyable to stay here and I would book this hotel again. read more

With our experience the room was musty, the shower was dirty, the toilet seated was broken and shifting- they came to fix it while we were out and it's the same, the furniture is stained with red stuff. Worst- the heat WONT TURN OFF! The room is like 80+ degrees the only option was to try to kick on the air which worked for just a few minutes to combat the heat of the hotel. During that a few minutes we noticed some stuff flying in the air and realize that the vent ABOVE THE HEADS KF MY CHILDREN hasn't been cleaned and I don't know but looks like years- and was blowing out gross gray fluff. (See pic) from desk didn't seem to be bothered by my vent. When I was out with the kids they came in an cleaned it... come back to gray fluff on the BED. Not until I wrote a review to Hilton.com during the stay do they CALL MY ROOM AT 9 pm to discuss and offer to change my bedsheets (my 3,4,7yo would love to get up and have housekeeping in ot room at 9) Needless to stay we have friends at TRU Hilton across the street-it's cheaper and WAY CLEANER/BETTER. One and done her for us. ($400a night peak season... ) Last night our room was 80 degrees. We slept with the screen door cracked in FEB for temp control. Positives: no bed bugs. On-site restaurant and on-site Starbucks and market; what more could you ask for?? Also off street parking included free Wi-Fi if you're an Hhonors member. This is beachfront bliss. Gigi checked us in and got us our keys and free warm cookies in less than 5 minutes! Bell service got our luggage cart and we were enjoying our room in no time. Stayed at the DoubleTree over three nights in the summer. The staff was friendly. Pros and Cons were as follows: Pros: Double queen rooms with full kitchen, patio looking out onto the beach, steps away from a great beach with warm water and soft sand, close proximity to lots of restaurants, Moon Bar and Restaurant has great drinks, two outdoor pools and one indoor pool. The Starbucks downstairs has beer, deserts and good coffee. There's a convenient parking garage attached the hotel without the need to check in or check out and it's covered. Cons: the hotel is not maintained well with decay showing in the rooms, patios and pools. They feel dirty. The rooms boast Lysol cleaning but you don't feel as though they are clean. The entrance to the hotel is confusing to get to. It's not cheap and we weren't offered chocolate chip cookies. Overall if you can deal with the cons it has a lot to offer with its location and the patios are really wonderful. Also having a kitchen was really important to us and the kitchen was solid. Great waking up and having coffee outside watching surfers. read more

Worst hotel check in experience ever! Terrible! Don't book here! Rooms are not ready and don't look like the website. We booked 2 rooms. I asked them to be next to each other or close to one another, but was told that wasn't possible by one attendant because she said ALL of the king beds are on one floor and All of the double beds are on another floor. What?!? As an experienced traveler w kids, I know that is a load of crap. I'm not going to argue so we figure it out and decide to have one parent stay in room A and the other parent stay in room B, not ideal, but we will manage. In one room the phone didn't work, no toilet paper holder, no trash can, missing bathroom tiles, and AC was malfunctioning and heater was coming on. The poor staff is just apologizing and running around frantically trying to fix things. In the 2nd room, there was a huge bubble from a leak that was slightly dripping and wet. Mold? Of course not they said it's a new hotel. They said that the hotel is waiting for wall to dry, so they can change the dry wall. I'm not an idiot, you can just cut out the wet spot and add dry wall. The truth is that they don't have any other rooms, so they will force us to use this one. The hotel was fully sold out, so they said they couldn't change rooms for us. I looked to book at another hotel because I had enough with the terrible accommodations, but all of the hotels were fully sold out. I am a diamond member with Hilton, but I guess customer service goes out the window when everyone is sold out. I never experienced this with any of the SPG properties. I will not be staying at another Hilton propriety owned by the Hale Harrison group ever again. So we rally and go to the pool. No pool towels and the lady next to us says that it has been that way for hours, people smoking, and the pool looks cloudy and dirty. The kids didn't care, but as a parent it is mortifying. We finally dragged them out of the pool and took them to the beach. This hotel is not ready to be opened and customer service is terrible! I have never been so frustrated to stay at a hotel. As first timers to OC I scoured the internet for reviews of where to stay. This hotel couldn't be more perfect for our family of 6. I was nervous the room would be too small but the additional bathroom (toilet and sink) made it much easier!! If I didn't have to leave this hotel, I didn't. We had an ocean front room on the second floor, previous reviewers said to stay higher but this was perfect for us especially with kids as we were constantly back and forth from room to pools and beach. Was so nice to just listen to ocean from our room and wake up to see the beautiful sunrise from the balcony each morning. We stayed 4th of July week and the hotel/beach never felt over crowded. Always got right on an elevator and when requested anything from front desk we got it immediately. We ordered room service twice (breakfast and dinner) it was delicious! The pool bar was so nice to come to after a day at the beach. Drinks and food were great! (Wish they were open past 7!) there was a sand area next to pool with fire pit, hammocks, picnic tables, games for kids. After spending a night at the boardwalk I am so glad we chose this location. We drove so I'm not sure how far the walk is from hotel to boardwalk but I heard from others that it was short. The beach was literally steps away which makes it so much easier with 4 kids and we always stopped at the snack shop for Starbucks drinks/ice cream mid day. (Sign on the door said only open till 2 but they stay opened till 7 a few of the days) Ended up renting an umbrella and chairs for the week from the company on the beach, the girls working were great & strong! Make sure to get bagels and ice cream from the plaza next door and visit Anthony's liquors! (Subs were great!) Truly can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel and their staff. Everyone was so kind and anytime we called for anything it was brought immediately! If we come back next year for a baseball tournament we would 100 percent stay here again and all of the other baseball families who visited said they would stay here too! One of the cleanest hotels I have ever been at . The staff was very accommodating Marc when we left was so nice he offered us cookies no one else did. I really wanted to spend the weekend but last minute timing is sometimes no I really wish the people that was drying out the floor's hadn't bumped my Jeep and left . We came on Monday afternoon a white utility van was working on the 4 th floor drying the area out. I came out Monday night and the van was gone but left white paint and 2 big scratches on my new 2022 Jeep I did mention it to the staff but was told anything that happens is not their responsibility. I also was informed they have no security cameras which I went out late at night and have been a victim of violence. This concerns me greatly since they are so evolved with our computer age so greatly but neglected security for their customers. Think they treat their customers very well but neglectful of their safety after they are outside of their building. read more

First, let me start with the reason we chose this hotel. My mother is in the final stages of her cancer and has always wanted to get away to the beach with my daughter (6) and I. We chose an ocean front room so that she can lay in bed with the door open and listen/see the waves crashing on the beach. When I called and booked the room, I spoke with Marc. I explained the situation to him and how important the experience was to me. He ensured he'd make it great for us - which he did. When we checked in, Marc was there. He reserved us a room on the 2nd floor so we were close to the amenities (very thoughtful with mom's health in mind), as well as a great view. The room was pristine and so clean, which made me feel at ease given mom's immune deficiency. We felt like queens staying in such a beautiful room with so much offered (stove, dishwasher, large fridge, ample seating, and my daughters favorite - two toilets! lol). We planned to stay for one night. We happened to be there during a wrestling tournament so there were lots of families. We had trouble with the room above us making lots of noise and banging on the floor (our ceiling) while mom was resting, and then throughout us going to bed (around 10pm). We called down to the front desk and spoke with the overnight Manager who was very quick to handle it. She called us back to confirm resolution which was very sweet. Turns out the parents went to dinner leaving the children in the room without parental supervision, but she got it taken care of for us and was very apologetic. (Hey! If I was a pre-teen in a room like that, I'd also be excited and jumping around!) Mom slept so well and enjoyed just resting in that room with the view, that she asked me if we could stay an extra night. Marc made it happen and that second night (Sunday) was amazing. My daughter and I checked out everything from the pool, hot tub, gym, even did a small load of laundry! The staff was just amazing. Checking out, Chrissy was so kind in sharing her kind thoughts of support with mom. Besides a little noise that first night (which no one could have predicted and was taken care of right away) the stay was honestly magical. The size of the room allowed my daughter and I to spend some time with my mother that we'll cherish forever, while still allowing my mom to stay resting in bed. Thank you, Doubletree staff. Very nice room. Clean and nicely decorated. It seemed warm, we adjusted temp and nothing changed. My husband called the front desk and they said they were in process of adjusting from winter settings to summer settings?! So, we stayed at 77 degrees.....they offered fans. We survived by sleeping with balcony open. The next morning, we couldn't get either shower to produce hot water. We should've said something, but just checked out and headed home. I'd give it a try again, because it was a nice place. However, OC was dead. Barely any restaurants open. read more

Before you even decide to go to sleep request fresh sheets . They need to be alot more cleaner they enforce masks but give you stained towels and don't maintain the pool. They also do not get done with housekeeping until after 4pm so if you ever need to freshen up you can't really access your room. read more

This hotel is comfortable and has such a great vibe. The front desk that checked me on 10/10 was incredible! I booked my reservation on hotels.com but for 10/11. No worries to be had, the front desk checked me in and advised me to cancel my hotel.com reservation and if there were any issues the could handle it for me. Room was great, beds comfortable and cozy. This was a great get away for a family of four. And I forgot the best part, there is a dishwasher, microwave, stove and oven with all the dishes, with cutlery. We are going back for sure!!! read more
