Our expected bill was not sent to me. I was not told we were out of network and then the woman on the phone sat there and argued with me saying I was told about it. Essentially not believing me. When I had absolutely no idea and it was never brought to my attention. No accountability was taken. All that to say we spent over $700 on 2 kids teeth cleaning. Absolutely absurd. We have dental insurance that covers 100% of what we had done. I would have never gone here if we were told it was out of network!

We received a tour of the facilities before heading back to meet with the dentist. Everything was thoroughly explained which put me at ease as well as my 2 year old that had only had one previous experience with a dentist that was very traumatic. I am excited to switch over my other children to this practice to continue their oral care. They are out of network for insurances but will submit on your behalf. You wind up paying a little extra but honestly it is not that much of a difference, but of course check with your insurance to be sure.

After getting teeth cleaned and convinced to get unnecessary x-rays, then asked to get further consultstion from a visiting periodontist, for a large fee, a bite guard was recommended. We were assured the high and full cost would be covered by insurance and anything over would be discounted, so any out of pocket cost would be zero. A month later we started getting harassing calls from some rude lady at John's Creek Dental Excellence for $75, she claimed was still owed for the non-discounted price. She said that the $75 amount would be sent to collections. I explained the price agreement promised at time of service. She didn't care, and we never received a statement itemizing their claim. So, after spending hundreds of dollars this rude dental office would rather send $75 to collections instead of keeping a family for future dental care. Pretty pathetic. They lost all future care from us, obviously. The owners here are poor examples of what it means to care for a patient. I'd certainly not trust their clinical skills. We won't ever return and will warn our friends and family about the unprofessionalism and lack of care we experienced. Just goes to show that the name of a business on the building doesn't always reflect the integrity of the owners inside.

I had zero discomfort in my mouth. She was also very kind, efficient, and up front about the costs of additional imaging and screenings. (Thank you!!!) All the Dentist are excellent; however, Sydney has helped me with multiple dental problems and she somehow exceeds expectations every time! Here's the thing... I've been ignoring the fact that my front teeth needed to be fixed bad due to a bad dentist's experience. Until one day, I had to take my kids for their dentist appt and met with Dr. Cesar who have so much passion on what he does. Never once I felt like he pressured me that I "should" do this or that for my kids' teeth, but he suggested some thing and helped us planning it out. He was very friendly, gentle and patience with my kids especially with my autistic son Colin. He did not want to stay in the chair, but somehow Dr. Cesar and his team helped to calm him down and stayed there. I just knew that I wanted him to be our family's dentist, and to look over my teeth. :) Well, I'm glad he did! Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The way my pain and concerns were handled was extremely upsetting. I felt that my pain was not taken seriously, and I did not feel that the practice genuinely cared about my well-being after such a significant financial investment. As a Spanish-speaking patient, I also felt that I was treated differently and with less respect because of my language and background. I felt discriminated against as a Hispanic/Spanish-speaking patient, which made an already difficult experience even worse. When a patient spends more than $16,000 on dental treatment, they should be able to expect quality care, proper communication, compassion, and respect--not to feel ignored when they are experiencing pain. I would strongly encourage anyone considering extensive treatment here to ask detailed questions, get everything in writing, and consider getting a second opinion before spending a significant amount of money. This review reflects my personal experience and how I was treated as a patient.
