Front: Twisted Club Back Left: Custom 4 Topping Pizza Back Right: Electric Avenue

I went here for dinner with a few friends and we decided to order ahead! We got the Twisted Club, the Electric Avenue, and two four topping custom pizzas! Unfortunately, our order came out late since I believe they forgot to punch it in in their system. They also forgot to put spinach on the pizza pictured in the back, but gave us a side container of it after I asked. They DID give us a 10% off our next order coupon to make up for it though! I don't believe that this is a common occurrence here though, since my friends have gotten food from here a couple times before! ANYWAY, despite all this the pizzas were so delicious, my favourite was 100% the Twisted Club! They were all so flavourful and the crust was so good- I'll definitely be visiting again soon!

Probably one of the best take out pizzas I have ever had. Even tasted good cold the next morning, was still soft. Store was clean and staff were friendly. Prices were decent! I would totally recommend!

Terrible service. We did pick up and they messed up our pizza three times! My pasta bowl was so small and considering it was a vegetable Primavera where was the vegetables? An hour it took to get it and when we did the pizza was still burnt and quality pitiful!!

    Pizza and pasta!

This relatively new spot in Hamilton is great! Don't know where to grab food after visiting friends, your university student children, or you just happen to be in the area? This is it. It isn't just pizza and pasta because it's made to your liking, and the possibilities are endless! One of the classic examples of you could make this at home, but do you have all the ingredients to do so? My sister brought me here telling me it's similar to other fast-fired pizza places that've cropped up in various cities. I thought sure - pizza is always good, she's got a discount coupon, and it'll be quick service so we can eat fast and be on our drive back to downtown Toronto. Firstly, I was excited for pasta options! It may seem odd, but I do believe the best accompaniment to pizza is pasta. I expected some small box that fits in my palm to be loaded up with the "alfredo" or "marinara"...but I was happily greeted by a well-sized portion that looked freshly cooked and tossed to fit my order. In terms of taste - it was a classic comfort food kind of pasta - nothing in particular to write home about, but definitely a safe choice. Second, the pizza. We went with a custom build which let us throw as many toppings on as we wanted. If you've never been to a place like this, my one recommendation is RESIST the urge to just ask for everything. You normally wouldn't even like everything, so it makes no sense to do that to your pizza. But all the concerns of picking either this or that for your 3-topping special? NOT HERE. You can get both, all three, all four, all five...the options are also super diverse beyond that of a normal pizza place, and even exceeding options at other fast-fired pizza joints I've been to! Lots of cheese, lots of meat, lots of veggies! Think about what kind of pizza you normally enjoy, and then go for the deluxe version of that - basically can't go wrong. The service was pretty quick and friendly and they rang me through speedily. I would skip on the drinks and just ask for water, that seemed to be more cost-effective and with an unusually-full topping pizza, hydration is important. And don't let those leftover slices go to waste! Take it with you in the takeout boxes available! One down side is that even dining in the cutlery is all disposable, but I guess they've got probably an even split of take-out and dine-in. Another downer is the lack of parking space - the side streets do allow for street parking, or if you're a McMaster student take the bus! Despite all these points, I'll be back!

Wood fried pizza does not get better than. The fair sized line that was present even at 9pm was a good indication of the great food that you're sure to have at DoughBox. This pizza is nothing alike to any delivery, with an abundance of fresh ingrediants and the option to customize your pizza with unlimited toppings for $12.95! DoughBox isn't for a quick takeaway, but definitley a filling and large sized sit down meal; plus leftovers for the next day. My friend and I both got unlimited topping pizzas which was amazing. Theres no limitation on the wide demographic of toppings they have to offer; from classics like tomato sauce, pepperoni, and mushroom, to their more artisanal options like salami, arugula, and pancetta. I would say that 95% of their toppings are fresh, but I was pretty dissappinted to see canned mushrooms and pineapple thrown onto my pizza. There's enough topping options that everyone can find something they'll enjoy. And if you're not up for the effort associated with choosing all your toppings, there are a number of preset specials, as well as pastas salads. The new interior is big with lots of seating, and the ordering system is super efficient. With such a wide variety to choose from, you really can't go wrong with the quality offers. Great for a late might bite, a study break, or large groups!

Alfredo pizza with goat cheese, spinach, bacon, Spicy buffalo pizza sausage spinach ricotta Pesto with spinach pepperoni, mozzarella
    Gary L.

Came here on opening day when they had the free pizza/ pasta special for posting on social media! It is very much like a subway/burrito place deal where you pick your base then pick your sauces and toppings. There is a wide selection of sauces ranging from spicy to creamy, I decided to go with a white sauce which to my surprise wasn't as overly creamy as I would have expected but it still tasted good. The cheese selection is also very amazing especially when they had goat cheese I settled on having spinach and bacon on a goat cheese and Alfredo sauce pizza As mentioned it wasn't overly creamy but it was still good My friend had gotten the spicy buffalo sauce which was pretty good (it reminded me of eating chicken wings on a pizza) Overall a nice place for a more luxurious pizza without having to go to a super fancy place

We eat at a lot of Italian restaurants, but this one stands out. It feels like everything is homemade and prepared with genuine love. All four of us ordered the chicken parmigiana, each with a different pasta pairing. My wife chose gnocchi with red sauce, while I went for penne with the lemon vodka sauce. That lemon vodka sauce was unbelievably rich and creamy. I'm still talking about it! I almost ordered some to go, but honestly, I doubt it would have made it home without me picking at it on the way home. This place is truly a hidden gem, a cozy hole-in-the-wall worth discovering. The waitstaff was warm, friendly, and attentive, and there's plenty of parking right outside. We can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. A definite 10/10 !

It was definitely catering to girls night out. We started with the crispy polenta fries - these were the clear winner of the night. It came with a marinara and aioli sauce, and was perfectly crispy, salty, and flavorful. I wish there was a bigger version of this because it could have easily been a meal substitute. The Arugula salad was also well-balanced and bright - a food combination of sweet, salty, peppery, and crunchy. We got the potato Bianco pizza - would not recommend this. It was very bland and burnt on the bottom. I wish we had tried a different pizza because they looked good! We also had the Short Rib Rigatoni. The flavors of this pasta were stellar! I would highly recommend getting this - the pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was very flavorful, and there was a generous serving of short rib. We lastly finished off with the Tiramisu, which was tasty, but not a traditional "tiramisu" flavor. I'd come back again to try some of their other pizzas and pastas. Drinks were pretty good, too!

Had brunch with a small group of girlfriends here Caro was well accommodated for the group. We had reservations at 10:30 am but it didn't seem like we needed them. It did start getting busy closer to lunch. The atmosphere/attire is very casual and laid back while having a top quality brunch. There's a small paid parking lot a street over from the restaurant.

If it' happens to be full, there is a very large municipal parking lot less than a block away on Elizabeth Street. Paradiso is located in Village Square but faces the street the only place to the west of it that separates it from the Municipal Parking is the nice little boutique style LCBO on the corner of Elizabeth and Pine Streets. We have been going here for many years I'm going to say it's been 20 years or very close maybe more for the ever changing menu. The Chef changes it by the seasons so you are always in for a delicious surprise and selections. The only minus I'd say is their wine list by the bottle it is seriously overpriced. The least expensive bottle of Cab-is $55 ( $14.95 @ The LCBO). Although it hasn't kept us away. My husband ordered it regardless he enjoys a bottle of wine with his dinner. I don't drink so I'm a Perrier or similar gal. Our dinners were outstanding and well priced. They start you off with the most delicious yellow bread it reminded me of cornbread but no corn it's thick like cake cut in wide 1" strips and just as high. It's served with a balsamic vinaigrette for dipping. I could keep eating that . I must ask what type it is on our next visit My husband had the Seafood Pasta which Spaghettini Pescatore consisting of Spaghettini with a white wine cream sauce, shrimp (3 large) , calamari and Atlantic salmon. Not a lot of seafood however only $32 so I'm not complaining. I had the Pickled Beet Salad- basil whipped feta, mixed greens, pickled beets, spice toasted almond crumble with a balsamic vinaigrette $16 and I added a marinated chicken skewer $9 extra. Other choices were garlic shrimp, oven baked salmon ,, grilled sirloin and seared ahi tuna - all $9 to $16 (salmon). All very well priced . For dessert I had the Aftgiuto $9 - also delicious - a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream with a side of espresso to pour over it so yummy! My husband's was huge- Salted Pecan Caramel Tart $14 ( more like a pie than a tart,I had to take pictures. Topped with French Vanilla Ice Cream, warm caramel sauce. I tried it, absolutely amazing . We had a great table for two at the very back of the restaurant it was quiet and quaint. Also extremely close to the restrooms which is always handy. We highly recommend Paradiso for lunch or dinner but remember reservations are a must. Keep in mind that the kitchen closes at 9:00p.m.. They won't kick you out but reserve accordingly. We were there two weeks ago Saturday and were shocked that it was completely full right after Christmas in early January and in this economy but as I mentioned earlier it is really affordable. I was also shocked that we had 6:30 reservations and it was 9:00 when we were leaving after our lovely leisurely dinner. We will be back very soon. Below is my husband with his amazing salted caramel pecan tart topped with French vanilla ice cream and warm caramel sauce. The picture I took of it looking down on it you can see what I mean how it is more of a pie than a tart, it's huge. I had a bite of it and even just one bite is so satisfying and beyond delicious it convinces you it's worth every penny . I'd love to order it however it is far too large for me. I wish my husband would share but he loved it far too much to share. Who can blame him? When you go you must try it. We are really into salted caramel desserts but believe me when I say "this the very best salted caramel anything that we ever had, it dances on your tastebuds and I truly mean that". Don't think about it just make your reservations on YELP or call today. Remember Valentine's is just 4 weeks away if you want to take your Sweetheart there for Valentine's you had better make your reservations now.... If it's not too late already. You don't need to thank me just go and enjoy a wonderful affordable dinner. And if you haven't been there before I know that you will become a regular even after just one visit !

Along the way, the sommelier came by to introduce herself and make some wine pairing recommendations based on our orders. For appetizers we shared the arancini (a second choice since the polenta fries weren't available), the calamari with shishito peppers, and the cheese with figs I can't remember which. All were very good! My favourite was the cheese. For my entree I had the soup of the day which was a tomato bisque with some fennel, topped with croutons, tomatoes, and cheese. They pour it table side. I loved it. I also had the spicy rigatoni pasta which the server recommended. I was choosing between that and the lasagna but my partner ordered the lasagna so I could try it. It was very good but I was happier with my pasta.
