We had come here at 12:00 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Upon being greeted at the door, we were given a table in the second room, which was near the bar area. The restaurant was very loud, making it difficult to hear across the table. The decor was modern, yet different, as it didn't fit the Italian vibe per se. I loved the teal chairs; added an ounce of flair that is not present at most restaurants. We had settled on the garlic knots to start, which came out piping hot, and were delicious. We then settled on the fig and prosciutto pizza, along with the tomato and basil as well. The pizzas were well-prepared, and tasted fresh with a diverse set of ingredients. Size was large as well, which wasn't all finished, and had to be taken home. Service was attentive, with our server coming to check-in on us often. We did find that the food took long to arrive, with us waiting at least fifteen minutes to receive water. Great spot for delicious pizza in Downtown Burlington! We were a group of 5 and ordered a variety of pizzas and their garlic knots and Caesar salad to share. Total with drinks and tips came up to about $50/person. We loved every bite of it! The food was fresh and flavourful. Portions are quite large and easily shareable! The drinks weren't the best I've had but still offered an interesting take of some of the standard cocktail options. They also have a small patio area, so that's nice on warm summer evenings. Best quality pizza and easily the best bang for your buck pizza between Hamilton and Mississauga. The atmosphere and venue is really nice with a good outdoor seating option. Feels slightly like a Mediterranean sort of style with the design of the place. Super friendly and helpful staff as well. It consisted of tomato sauce, smoked bacon strips, shaved ham, pineapple and pickled jalapeño peppers. It tasted good fresh, though underwhelming in flavour. Something is missing. Whether it is the type of cheese, lack of sweetness from the pineapple, or the Smokey bacon. Not satisfied with this one. The second pizza I tried was the squash and kale. This one was surprisingly tasteful. Light and flavourful. Definitely filling and the squash is pretty dense. I would order this again. In it was roasted garlic ricotta, kale, purée squash, red onions, balsamic reduction and goat cheese. As for the dough, low par. I always stand with the notion that the best part of the pizza is the crust. You can def taste the flavour and quality from its crust. That's my ideology. So this place is a pizzeria alongside they have a few appetizers on their menu.The restaurant is beautifully tucked in a semi-busy street of downtown Burlington. The quality of food and service is good and I had no issues.A small pizza can easily feed 2 and large is pretty big I would say ask the server before ordering.With the pizza do request their chili oil it's da bomb.DO NOT FORGET TO ORDER THEIR PEACH ICE TEA! It had a variety of different meats on it such as pepperoni, salami, bacon, and ham. The pizza suited my taste perfectly. It wasn't too oily and the crust was crispy and airy. Skip the bruschetta (unless you like maple syrup flavors with your tomatoes). Salads are good, but nothing too special. We've tried a few of their gourmet pizzas, but surprisingly, the simple pepperoni is out favorite. It's everything you want in a pepperoni pizza--great crust, mild but flavorful sauce, lots of mini pepperonis that stay pliable but get crispy on the edges. Calamari as appetizers. Good enough to share amongst 6 people. It wasn't overly fried or too oily, so it gives it a good healthy taste. But I do wish the pieces were a little bigger. Pizzas as main. 3 of them to be exact. Ordered the medium size (around 8") and it was enough for each person to have one slice (I think they cut it to the number of people in the party). Recommend the mushroom pizza as it was juicy and blended well with the sauce. The all meat pizza was also different, with a small kick of spice. Overall it was a randomly good find. This bothered my grandfather and my daughter. Something to consider if you are hard of hearing or sensitive to noise. It didn't bother the middle aged adults at the table. There are a few vegetarian options but most pizzas have meat in them. I'm vegetarian and was happy with my selection but I know some vegetarians may expect more than 3 pizzas to choose from. They do their pizzas in a giant pizza oven that you can see from their dining space. Great visually, and probably great in the winter too, but in the summer, made the dining area a bit hot. They also offer things like burgers and wings on their menu. I ordered the tomato & mozzarella pizza, and the hubby got the burger. The burger came first and it looked great. The burger patty was made in house using locally raised top sirloin and brisket blend (which gives it the fatty juiciness), topped with house candied maple bacon. The bun I thought was a bit too soft for all the meaty goodness, was a house made sourdough brioche bun. I think in general brioche buns are too soft for burgers. I loved the salt & vinegar taro chips that were served on the side. The hubby found them too vinegary for him. The pizza, was a good size, had minimal toppings on it since I ordered tomato & mozzarella. The crust was good, thin, and had a good amount of chew and char. I loved the amount of fresh basil sprinkled on top. I just wish that they used fresh mozzarella instead of their house-smoked mozzarella. That's just a personal preference though. read more

When i oredered fried mozzarella, I expected mozzarella sticks but it wasn't. It literally fried sliced mozzarella. It was really crispy and cheesy(some places don't put enough cheese). The wait like I've read for others does take long so it's probably best not to go at the point where you're super hungry. The food is delicious and worth the wait.
