Went in for pickup a few minutes after the time and no one was there to greet me. They only had two tables to work and one other person for takeout. Had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to talk to me. The whole time a phone was ringing and they didn't even pick up until after they talked to me. A woman came out from the back and told me the pizza was still cooking and had to wait another 8 minutes. Woman working the register didn't say have a good day or anything. Obviously didn't want to be there and they had a single highschool girl working the entire front of the store/ pizza oven. On a Friday night The pizza is soggy and the cheese falls right off. The crust is burnt and hard. My significant other got the cheese bread and it literally had black bubbles from being burnt. If you like crunchy burnt tasting pizza that falls apart go at it. My s.o. said he would rather have little Caesar's. Very nice on the inside of the store but two pizza and an appetizer from here is definitely not worth $50. Given all the ingredients on the pizza you think it would taste good but it doesn't. The food even gave me an upset stomach half an hour after eating it. Do not eat the vegan pizza not worth it at all. Couldn't even finish the my food before feeling sick. read more

Ok... this place is amazing. Husband and I stopped by when passing through that part of town.. got a small pizza and wings. WOW. Just wow. Food was delicious. Tried Dough Boy$ for first time last night. We recent moved (back) into town and haven't moved in fully yet so we have been trying a lot of take out and delivery food lately. Most have been just okay... Dough Boy$ last night? Was outstanding. Ordered a plain cheese pizza for the kids and when I opened it up I thought... hmmm I might just eat this myself! Cheese was tasty and was obviously not the grocery store bag-o-cheese variety you get at some pizza joints. Wife and I tried the Hitman 16" and it was awesome... wife normally likes thin crust, which this definitely is not, but it was cooked properly and was just good dough. Meats were high quality and added a lot of flavor. We both loved it. Great pie. This is NOT your average delivery type pizza. This is a very high quality pizza and I hope their choice of ingredients does not change as that would be a shame. read more

There is definitely room for improvement. This place has the potential be one of the best pizza places in Fresno/Clovis. The crust is fantastic and their sauces are great too. Anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with pizza. I've lived all around the country and have had my fair share of amazing pizza. The first time we tried this place (about a week and a half ago) everything was great. There were so many toppings, pizza was cooked perfectly, was ready on time. However, the second, third, and fourth times we tried it (this past Thursday, Saturday, and today) have not been great. On Thursday, I customized one of the menu pizzas. I had the lady repeat the order back to me to make sure it was right. The pizza took about 45 minutes after we were quoted 20-25. On top of that, the pizza had the wrong sauce and was missing toppings. They did offer to remake it, but messed it up a second time (forgot to add bacon). At that point we were just hungry so we settled. The third time ordering, we again customized the pizza. This time we ordered online so that everything would be in writing. Pizza was burnt and there were hardly any toppings on it. I'm talking like maybe 10 pieces of chicken and 4 pieces of bacon. The dough was flat and burnt. Very disappointing. We also noticed that prices increased about $2 per pizza. Today my pizza was very burnt and almost too crispy to eat. I just can't justify spending $18 on a small. I know this place is new and with any new restaurant, there are kinks to work out. We would like to continue to support them, but there is quite a bit of quality control need to happen. read more

Where do I start. When I walked in I was greeted with a nice "hello" by a very kind male employee. I have never been there before so I was hesitant on what to order. The very nice gentlemen, helped me decide what to order, and guided me through their menu. I settled on a the classic calazone and a bbq chicken pizza. EXCELLENT, very cheese, lots of flavor, good amount of topics, the ranch on the side is a must. We came to try this place for the first time. I decided to do take out. We ordered a simple Pepperoni pizza and a what the cluck. We were pretty disappointed. The red sauce was quite sweet, not a fan at all. My kids only had one slice each and they were done. The what the cluck was extremely dry. We couldn't taste the sauce or even the cheese. Went to this local Pizzeria couple a days ago on my day off as a recommended location for local eats on here. First off, there was nobody. I mean I don't if it was a bad or good thing, but waiting for my order wasn't that long. The interior designing of this location was really energetic. It reminds me of a family lounge like a Round Table and Pieology environment. I wouldn't mind dining in. I did order 12 pieces bone in wings. They were really good, slight crunch to the skin and very juicy inside, hence forth why I forgot to take a photo. The only thing about the wings was the seasoning. To me it was slightly over seasoned, but everyone has their own style of seasoning. And If you do decide to get a Calzone from here just remember to have 3 other people with you. The size of the Calzone is like a 16" pizza folded in half stuffed with a bunch of meat. I mean, it was pretty fulfilling but flavor wise was slightly lacking. I mean I did order an "All Meat" calzone... Although, I would say the Roasted Garlic Bread was on point. I would go there again just to order them garlic breads. Overall, I gave them 4 out of 5. These review is for the service only. I wasn't able to try the pizza. I had been wanting to try this place for some time now and I finally got the chance to go. Unfortunately it was by far the worst experience. When we arrive there was just one customer picking up their order so we were able to order right away. We did order to go. We sat down on the first table right next to the register, so we weren't out of sight. Soon after more customers came in, which got me more excited to try it. Well all those customers that came in after me got their food before I did. I went up to them to ask what was going on they said it was cooking. Then the woman that was making them asked me what I ordered, so they weren't making my order they didn't even know what I got. Waited a bit more and after 50 minutes of waiting I was completely fed up. Asked for a refund. The owner or person in charge just said "sorry I wasn't here though" didn't take any responsibility for the terrible service they provided. So I left hungrier than I arrived and without a single apology from the cashier that messed up the order. Don't think I will be going back, and definitely gonna let all my coworkers know about my terrible experience. They were all waiting for me to try it so they can go as well. read more

As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with a friendly smile in the welcome. The service was great very friendly staff. The calzone I ordered was huge let me rephrase that it was HUGE! I came here through a Yelp event but really wanted to give this local pizza shop the recognition it deserves! First, the interior was so aesthetic. The signs, colors, decorations, it was done so nicely. I don't have much pictures but you can check the other reviews that has them (supposedly the bathroom was decorated very nicely too :0). Second, I've never tried their calzones, through the event I received a mini one and boy was that big enough to satisfy you. Imagine the regular size calzone? I got the Italian sausage and smoked bacon for my mini toppings. It was AMAZING. I enjoyed every bite. I noticed on the menu that there's a "All meet Calzone" something along that. I like meat. I really liked my mini so I definitely want to come back to try it and check out the real deal! I also ordered boneless wings flavored teriyaki and it definitely tastes like it! Maybe not my favorite flavor (I did choose it) but I'd like to try the others! It was good, I just want to try the others and I just know something else will top it. Anyways aesthetics are a check, calzones and wings are (I plan on coming back so I'll definitely try pizzas and such). So now what's left? Service? They were amazing. The man at the counter answered all of my questions and you can tell he knows the menu and the place like the back of his mind. I can tell he was tired by looking at him but not by his energy. He was friendly, kind, welcoming, and helpful. I also chatted with a female worker there, asked about her Starbucks drink in which she replied and she was very nice! She recommended me a drink from Starbucks but also a food to try here at Dough boy's so I plan on coming back to try it out thanks to her! It was nice to sit and eat, watch some tv (yes they have some) and have some conversations with the workers. I'd definitely come back and also recommend this place to my friends! I called them and the only option I was given was to bring back the wrong pizza and get what I ordered. I asked for a coupon a little credit and nothing. First time trying, I was very excited to try as I heard great things about this place. I had delivered. My hubby loved the wings! However, the pizza was not to my liking. I liked the crisp crust, but the flavor was off for me. The sauce was sweet, then have a garlicky taste with a bit of a hot/pepper taste. (Canadian bacon) so the pepper taste was odd. Bad combo for me. The sweet was too much. Then had a bad aftertaste. I will not return, but I am still glad I tried it. The flavor was just not for me, but I am sure others will still enjoy. I was so sad to see the original restaurant gone, we loved all of their food. I hesitantly looked over the menu one day and was so excited to see that they carry vegetarian meat substitutes! Being able to order a bbq "chicken" pizza makes me so glad they came to town. I haven't tried the veg meatball options but from the pizza I can tell they know what they are doing and I would encourage anyone to give it a shot. Great food and amazing options. On another note, I ordered DoorDash one day and there was a mixup about how I ordered my pizza because I did not choose a sauce (because I only wanted bbq drizzle) they put sauce on the pizza and it was not the way I wanted it. I called to see what could be done and they were very fair about allowing me to come in and switch it out for the one they remade for me. In all fairness, there is a "no sauce" option but there is also the option to not choose one (as in its not required and you can compete your order having not made a choice) so there was no one at fault and I understand I'm in the weird minority that doesn't like pizza sauce.
