Amazing family owned business with fantastic pizza. Our family loves Sunnyside Pizza!

This was my third attempt at Sunnyside Pizza and although this visit was the best as far as the taste of the pizza goes, I don't think I'll give it another shot. I think three stars is being generous. My husband ordered so I can't speak for the service. It was a Saturday night when we went so they were busy so I understood the long wait. We ordered two medium pizzas for the family (we split one, the kids split the other). The fact that we finished both pizzas and left hungry was disappointing. If you're looking for an old fashioned pizza parlor, this isn't the place for you. It's bright with fluorescent lighting and not a comfy environment. It seemed messy and nothing really flowed, kind of dirty actually. They have their following and that's great but I was underwhelmed. read more

Terrible customer service! We orser here regularly. I placed an order for, what I thought was delivery. When I realized it was pick up, we called over and over to confirm we could still pick up since pick up time showed 8:18 and they close at 8. No answer! When I called for a refund, they declined. They would rather lose business. So disappointing! read more

This popular, family-owned pizza parlor is clearly a hit-and-miss when it comes to both the food and service. I have ordered their Combination - with pepperoni, mushroom, olives, bell peppers, bacon, sausage, ground beef, and linguica - on a few occasions now and, despite the curious choice to use jarred mushrooms as a topping, I have been generally pleased each time I have ordered it. That is a lot of meat toppings for a combination, and anything more like their Meat Lovers is a bit too much for me. Additionally, I felt the meats were dry and too salty. I would not order the Meat Lovers again from here. Sometimes, less is more. Whenever the owners are present, you can expect warm hospitality. They should do a better job, however, in training their young staff to be more customer-focused and pay more attention to the details of processing orders. Making mistakes on orders, bad judgment on the time the food would be ready, an apparent lack of concern, and no apologies for the mistakes appear to be business as usual when it is mostly these young workers taking orders. My last two visits here were particularly bad. There is too much competition nearby and better options locally to tolerate this nonsense here. read more

Great pizza with a crispy flakey crus, loaded toppings, and great prices. They have family specials with family size pizza, 8 wings, four fountain drinks for $31 and other options. They customize any pizza for you, can do half and half, special sauces, etc with a great variety of standard pizza combinations and excellent selection of beer, wine, and sangria. 6/7/23 The worker was very nice and said they have a lunch special. Personal pizza, salad and drink. Veggie pizza ordered with chicken added. The worker said it would be ready in 25 minutes. I went in to get it. The restaurant is very nice! Clean, safe and practiced. Very open atmosphere! They also have some arcade games. TVs up on the wall too! The worker was very kind. I paid for the order. Got the drink and the worker brought it to a bar table to take and was kind. Lunchtime! Order split. Smelled delicious! 1/2 of the pizza was delicious! Cheesy with fresh veggies and a good amount of chicken each. 1/2 of the salad was fresh and delicious! Tomatoes, cheese, black olives & croutons. Sunnyside Pizza is one of the best pizza places in town. Their food is great. Their crust is like a cross between Roundtable and Me&Ed's. They are generous with their toppings and their prices are very reasonable. It's one of the last family owned pizza parlors in town. The parlor is very neat and clean with plenty of seating and the T.V.'s always have some type of sporting event playing. The service is very fast and friendly, and they don't over charge for ranch or Jalapeños. Actually, they gave me 4 ranch dressings, 4 Jalapeños, and 4 Parmasian cheese for no charge. After not having pizza for quite some time, we had the local competition (ME) a couple of weeks ago and we were so disappointed I thought I was going to swear off "delivery" pizza forever. I was excited to try this place. I've read great reviews and heard they have cracker crust. We ordered the family special with a 2 topping family size pizza, wings and a 2 liter of soda. The wait time for pick up was 45 minutes. This is a bit long for carry out, so next time I'll plan better. The prices are very reasonable. For the family special and a large combination pizza it was $42 including tax. I enjoyed the wings. They're a bit on the small size, but, they are very flavorful. Not too spicy either. The pizza has plenty of toppings and is light on the sauce. I like this style. This reminds me of Me N Ed's. However, the crust is not as crispy or cracker like. I would compare the pizza to Dominion Pizza (not Dominos, Dominion) Although we ordered carry out, they have a canopy outside for "dine in" during Covid. I also noticed a nice selection of beers on draft. The ranch and jalapeños are free, yay! read more

When Big Al from bible study recommends an eating establishment, you just have to give it a try. This place didn't disappoint. The only reason that I didn't give it five stars was because it was a little hard to figure out how to order because they are on FaceBook, but don't have a website and because the order wasn't correct. I ordered a family sized pepperoni and medium Mexican pizza and got two family sized pizzas and the pepperoni that had bacon on it. While I am of the belief that everything is better with bacon, my kids weren't thrilled. As for the pizzas, I thought that they were great. The pepperoni and bacon pizza was perfect with just the right amount of sauce and the Mexican pizza was excellent with the mix of flavors including chorizo. My only issue was picking off some of the jalapeños, then rubbing my eyes later that night and paying for it. Fortunately these places don't get judging on customer stupidity. The crust is very similar to Me N Ed's, but their ingredients just seem to be of a much higher quality. We also ordered some hot wings for my wife and son, which they both really liked. All in all, I would absolutely order from them again. read more

Stopped by this place after getting a massage next door and we were so happy we did! The customer service, food and drink selections were all top notch.
