Rarely do I leave 3 stars or less We came for happy hour which is great that's it's all week at eureka.... Pros: happy hour - my wife's burger was fire ... whatever one she got she asked to add the bacon jalapeño jam and it was a huge boost to the burger. Our drinks were decent and there was no wait. I think outside has misters which is a plus with this heat... Cons: I got the fish tacos which had no flavor at all.. zero... and the tortillas need to go!!! They break super fast and it's not doubled up.. I ate my first taco quickly solely because I didn't want to eat my tacos with a fork. Second Friday in a row for early Happy Hour. The drink of the month, Stcky Sailor should not be missed. The Frachos are really awesome. Had some of my wife's Poke Bowl $13 lunch which was excellent. Had the Pastor Fish Taco which was meh... server was on it, checking in regularly. We tend to eat outside more often than indoors and was plenty cool despite not using misters. I was searching for places and was surprised to see Eureka so close to home, so of course I had to go. I've been to the other location and knew a good night was in store, parking was a snap and upon entering was seated immediately. I chose to sit indoors and was escorted to a table by a window. Service was prompt and courteous and with a clearly defined menu we ordered drinks quickly along with an appetizer (see picture) I do appreciate having a little time to navigate the menu and look for specials. The waitress was considerate and knowledgeable of the menu (I could tell you some stories) with a humorous spirit we ordered and enjoyed our drinks and bites until we were served with our order. I ordered my hamburger medium and it was perfect! I also chose to have onion rings with is not a regular thing for me, some aren't crispy enough, this was the case tonight but good nonetheless. All and all a good experience for sure and the price wasn't a deal breaker for my next visit, give it a try and see if you agree. read more

I've been to the Eureka in Irvine probably 10 times. Now we had a chance to try out the Clovis location and it was phenomenal! The food was incredible, the service was great, the wait time from order to delivery was on point. The best part, the thing that took us to phenomenal was the patio. I love this patio. It was nice and cool out there. Everyone was enjoying themselves. Tables of happy people eating, conversing and laughing together. It was beautiful. I ordered the Cobb salad and it was perfection. Kendall had the seared salmon and devoured it. Amy had the nachos and she couldn't have been happier. My typical go to is the Fresno Fig burger, it's a monster and delicious. This is the best Eureka burger spot. The inside is nice, but the patio is the move. Super relaxing atmosphere with nice greenery and landscaping. The service has always been good and most times the manager has also come out to ask how the experience was, which is a nice touch in my opinion. Definitely makes you feel appreciated for the visit and spending your money at this establishment. The menu is diverse even though it's a "burger" place. We went to Eureka on a Friday evening, and although it was busy, we found two seats at the bar without a problem. The bar staff was incredibly friendly--someone came up to us right away, introduced themselves, and ran through all the offerings for the evening, including happy hour (which we lucked into!). One thing I really appreciated about sitting at the bar was the setup. The seats aren't crammed together, so we had plenty of space. There are hooks underneath for bags and jackets, and even outlets if you need to charge your phone. The bar also has multiple TVs showing different sports, which added to the fun, lively vibe. We ordered off the happy hour menu and were honestly blown away. I got an Old Fashioned, and they even offer a whole burger and fries on happy hour, which is amazing. We also shared the nachos. Everything tasted great, and the drinks were excellent--I ended up ordering another cocktail, the Spa Day Margarita, and loved it just as much as the first one. The food was delicious, the drinks were spot on, and the staff stayed attentive the whole time without hovering. It was a really easy, enjoyable dinner that didn't break the bank. I was super happy to have Eureka in Clovis. My friend and I were able to get reservations a couple of days before our dinner. Reservations were not too hard to get and using the website made it very easy. They sat us down right away. Our server was busy so somebody else came to check in on us and got a drink for my friend. I will say that I felt a little rushed and pushed to get out of there. My friend shared that she felt the same way. I got a Mocktail, which was actually just a blackberry lemonade. And then I got an Ahi tuna salad. The salad was OK. There weren't too many gluten or dairy free options. It was very small and crowded in there. I will say that the ambience is very loud and busy. The tables are kind of close to each other. The bar area is pretty big and can accommodate quite a few people. But I would say there's probably about 10 tables in the whole restaurant. read more

Food was good. A dry gin martini with Hendricks cost me $22.50. I get that Hendricks is a premium liquor, but this is definitely an overcharge. For only a few more dollars I could have bought an entire bottle. Ambiance was fine I guess. Few people in the place. Came in for a colleague's birthday. The atmosphere of thjs place was welcoming and casual feeling. I have been to the other location in Fresno. I had already known that when I come here I was going to drop some money on a burger. I ordered the Wagyu Bone Marrow burger and asked for it to be cooked medium. That is indeed what I got. It was seasoned well and was juicy. I ordered it with tots which was also cooked just to my liking which is crispy on the outside and you can taste the tiny pieces of potatoes that make up the tot. I just will not say I would comeback again because the portion size and price point don't match. I get that Wagyu is expensive but the tots are not. Give me a lot more and I would justify the price point a little more. Not while the ever so popular burger place is across the way, I would choose that place instead of here. I guess if you say want to bring a date somewhere that not fast food and you want burgers then this would be your place to come. Service was great and ambience is great. You won't get a 5 stars because it wouldn't be a place I would recommend or comeback unless for a certain occasion or a friend/coworker wanted to come here. read more

We was in the area and seen this place was still open since it was a little late we decided to try it cus we didn't wanna settle for fast food. I went with the bone marrow burger with onion rings. Got a side of tomato soup. My bf went with the ribeye Philly cheesesteak and fries. He got Mac and cheese balls on the side. Took this to go. It didn't take too long. They have outdoor seating, it was more poppin than inside. Before I picked up the food I went to go use the rest room. Why tf was the floors inside so damn slippery!! It wasn't just the rest room floor but walking up to the bathroom was also slippery. The waiters must've been wearing non slip shoes cus gawd dayumn! I could've fell and busted my ass but I watched myself. Anyway, finally got to try the food at home and hmm... I was expecting more out of that bone marrow burger. It wasn't bad but it wasn't all that neither. I would not get that again. Even in the pic the burger looked boring. The onions and roasted tomato is under the patty. I've been here a couple of times. Food is decent. Service is average. Ambiance is upscale but not memorable. On my latest visit they had the Double Smash burger for $9 because it was Wednesday. When it arrived I asked the server if this was a small version because of the deal, he said it was the normal size. At $9, it was reasonable. I ordered a nachos through DoorDash. It cost me $30. I got a plate for chips with some cheese some steak that look like it had been there for the whole day a couple little jalapeños on it. I mean Fresno chilies white Bay drizzled some sour cream on the top I could not see any cheese. There's no beans in it. They did not send any salsa. They sent ketchup like 20 packs of ketchup and no salsa and they DoorDash only gave me about $10 and I feel like they owe me all my money back because it's food is terrible. read more

Our service has always been consistently great at the Fresno location and the Clovis location didn't disappoint. We chose to sit out on their patio which is actually a bit bigger than the Fresno location. It would be the perfect spot to grab drinks and appetizers after work. Normally I love their wild child cocktail, but being pregnant I was pleasantly surprised by their mocktail options. It's hard for me to deviate from my usuals, including their fried pickles, truffle fries and blackened salmon Cesar salad. Overall, Eureka never misses in our book. read more

Was invited to have dinner here with the cousin in laws. Didn't know that they now have a Eureka in Clovis, last I remembered this was a poki bowl place that closed but didn't know Eureka replaced it. Anyways party of 6 adult and 4 kids. It was a strange service since part of our party arrived late and was going in and out of the restaurant, we ordered at different times but the staff was friendly despite the circumstances. A few members of the team checked on us throughout our dinner. My husband ordered the bone marrow burger with truffle fries and I had the al pastor fish tacos with arugula salsa and we ordered a cheese burger with mac n cheese balls for our toddler. Food came out pretty fast. Beautiful presentation. I felt my fish tacos were okay, perhaps the pineapple threw me off i wasn't a huge fan of the sweetness of the pineapple and the mahi fish was cut cube side which was a bit awkward to eat and not really forming to my taco when I held it. My husband's bone marrow was good the truffle fries was exquisite! My daughter cheese burger was also good the Mac and cheese balls were so delicious. Went to Eureka in Clovis for the $13 lunch special with my wife. I had the chicken club with fries, she had the salmon Cesar salad. For $13 i wasn't sure what to expect, but the food did not disappoint! My sandwich was stacked with chicken, avocado, tomatoes, and bacon. And my wife's salmon salad was very tasty. The salmon was blackened, and the greens were fresh and crispy. We had a nice table on the patio with a ceiling fan, keeping us cool. Our server was very attentive, without being overbearing. But there's a cute dining area, a bar and the bonus patio in the back. Had a great server who helped with some recommendations and he was so right about the brussels sprouts being great. We were served by Demetrio (don't know if I spelled that right) and he was so sweet! 10/10 experience with him. Checked on us often and made sure we were doing good throughout the meal. Anyways, on to the food. Here's what we got: Mac and Cheese Balls: 8/10 Tasty for sure and has a nice kick if you get the chili. Crunchy and fresh so no complaints. Ahi Stack: 7/10 It was okay but I wish I had a whole bowl of wonton chips vs tortilla chips. The wonton chips complement this dish more. Flavors up top are good, but not a fan of the base. Wings: 8/10 Came out hot and crispy. Demetrio recommended the firecracker to me which kind of just tastes like buffalo sauce. Didn't get to try the BBQ wings but my sister seemed to enjoy them. Spinach & Artichoke Dip: 7/10 Warm and served crunchy bread and chips. I enjoyed it enough. Pretty solid but not the best I've had. Cowboy burger:: 7.5/10 Not bad at all. Cooked exactly how I asked. The Eureka burger and fries are always my favorite! i like my burger well done, and unfortunately had to send it back, as it came out medium. My server ordered it correctly, and was on top of correcting the order as soon as she saw it was not cooked. I also ordered a mimosa and it was delicious. The side salad was crisp, had green beans, avocado, and ripe tomatoes. we sat at the bar, as it had been raining, so the outdoor dining was closed. Starter: spinach and Artichoke dip, seasoned well, very creamy and the mix of crostinis and tortilla chips leave you satisfied. Meal: Napa Chicken Sandwich sub Truffle Corn. Beautifully made! I especially enjoyed the roasted tomatoes on the sandwich. The sweetness in the corn was a great balance to the truffle sauce. Dessert: Bourbon Barrel Cake... do not leave this place without having that! The candied pecans add great texture to the dish. The dessert isn't overly sweet, it has just the right amount of richness to it. I enjoyed this so much that I sent an email to the head office requesting they consider opening one in St. Louis. I have been to this Eureka location a few times now. The food is always pretty good. This time, we went for a Father's Day lunch - 10 people total. We had a reservation so we were seated promptly and our waitress was nice and attentive but things fell short for us during this visit. We ordered an appetizer that I assume was forgotten so we reminded the runner to bring it out but it didn't come out until after we all got our meals. A couple of the orders were off: missing sauce, onions when asked for no onions, things like that. I ordered the Fresno Fig burger with truffle fries and felt like the burger was a little dry but the fries were amazing. The kids scarfed down their meals and ordered desserts. My son loved the bourbon cake. The chocolate cake was really odd. I couldn't tell if it was a lava cake or a regular cake that wasn't cooked through because the middle was really gooey. It was topped with whipped cream and what we all assumed were black sprinkles but turned out to be black salt. Food: I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with their house salad on the side. The piece of chicken was rather small for the price, and I didn't particularly like the hot sauce. The side salad was ok. On the plus side, the salad had sliced avocado on top. My husband got a burger and fries, and he said they were good. All in all, it's a nice place to hang out on the patio in great weather and maybe have some drinks or apps, but for me the price to enjoyment of the food wasn't there. read more
