As for the service, some of the staff were really nice and welcoming, but I did feel a little uncomfortable toward the end. When I asked if I could pay with cash instead of card, I got the impression that the person seating us assumed I was going to leave a tip and seemed disappointed when I clarified that I was just paying cash. I also felt like some of the servers were giving us an attitude afterward because we didn't tip. Overall, tipping is a personal choice, and I don't think customers should feel judged or pressured because of it. Some of the staff were genuinely kind, but unfortunately the food and the experience weren't enough for me to want to come back.

I've had the fish tacos, which are a great healthier alternative because the fish is not deep-fried. I also have had their salads which are amazing and you can customize them depending on what kind of dressings and proteins you'd like. I've never had any of their alcoholic beverages, but they look and sound really good. They also always have wines and beer selections that appear to be from different areas in California. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is that they always seem a little understaffed when I'm there. Usually, I notice one server sometimes to taking care of most of the tables.

Very disappointing service…read more This review has nothing to do with the food and everything to do with the service and experience we had today. We were promptly seated on the patio, but after 15-20 minutes we left without ever being served. Not one staff member acknowledged us. We still had all our menus on the table, no water, and even had a highchair brought to our table after we asked our server to bring it to us when we were seated--so it was obvious we were there and had not been helped. What made it worse was that the tables around us were seated after us and received water, drinks, and even an appetizer from the same server, while we were completely ignored. When I spoke to the manager on the way out, instead taking ownership, her first response was an apology followed by, "The host must not have told the server." That may explain it, but it doesn't excuse it. The manager had a great opportunity to own the mistake and try to make things right. Instead, she offered an excuse. Very disappointing experience.
