Recently, I returned to Lowe's with a challenge and as always they were up to the task. I have a medal I have worn on a chain around my neck for over 53 years. It was removed for boot camp and for medical procedures and tests other than that it remained around my neck. Needless to say, the sterling silver was worn and I was afraid that the jump ring and or bail would be giving way soon, as even with the naked eye one could see the wearing of the silver. Brian, looked at this personal treasure as his own and with an expression of respect and dignity offered several options to repair and replace portions of the medal without altering my lifelong treasure, which was gifted to me by my wife before our wedding.
