I have been made to think that my employer is giving me false information and I have no active insurance. I would have been happy to give over all of the information again or even have them get in contact with my insurance agent or my employer directly because this has been an issue but could not make it to that point before I would get interrupted or told I was wrong. Instead, it was suggested that I would keep paying cash, out of pocket unless I wanted to file my own insurance claims on my own. This is unhelpful and proves they are not willing to look into any of this further but still want my trust and money. I will not be going back to see my favorite Dentist because of the numerous attempts I've made to rectify this situation.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I had been in severe tooth pain for about 2 weeks straight, living off of Ibuprofen and tylenol. On my journey to figure out what was going on with my tooth, I went to 3 different dentists who couldn't figure out the issue. It wasn't until Dr. Dan Smith walked in the room that I felt a rush of reassurance, trust, and kindness. Dr. Dan has an incredibly caring bedside manner mixed in with the utmost professional demeanor in his responses to your questions. He took his time with my care, listened to my complaints until I was done giving him all the information that was important to me, and he reassured me with confidence in his answers. I cannot recommend this establishment and Dr. Dan enough. For the first time I felt cared about and that I was in good hands. It took Dr. Dan no more than a couple minutes to come up with the cause to all my tooth pain / issues. Their pricing is beyond fair compared to the surrounding dental offices. Dr. Caputo was able to see me this morning at 8:00. He was able to save the tooth and put on a temporary crown. Permant crown will be put on next week. I only mention this little experience because sometimes my friends are looking for a dentist for whatever reason. I highly recommend Dr. Caputo. He and his staff are so kind, friendly and professional. He believes that he should try to do anything to save the tooth, rather than pull it. He's a good guy. Give him a try. After two appointments with Generations Dental, I requested my records and transferred to another…read moredentist. The practice used false-color images of my teeth to try and convince me that a patch on the rear of an upper molar needed to be removed due to decay and a crown put in its place. (An expensive procedure not fully covered by my insurance, even 'in-network'.) My first appointment with my new dentist confirmed that there is no actual decay, and that the removing the patch is not necessary...at least not yet. Furthermore, the dentists are not respectful of my hearing disability. My instructions to them of what to do to ensure accurate communication--how to speak to me during procedures when my hearing aids are out--were frequently ignored. It is not acceptable to respond to hearing impaired persons by saying things like: "Don't worry...," "It's OK...," or "...not important." Individuals with hearing disabilities are not to be treated like children. This practice functions like a "dental procedure factory," and I would look around before engaging them as your dentist.
