But Dr. Karen Jahimiak has always been friendly and gentle with her exams. I'm not sure when they moved to their current location in Waukesha, but I remember being more excited about seeing the dentist. "They have TVs now!" Which, when I was younger was awesome. I was able to watch a tv show while the dentists worked on my teeth. Cartoons with teeth cleaning somehow seems more fun! There have also been more gains from the sunglasses while you're laying under the bright light. To the technology gains with better reminders for your appointment makes the whole experience more convenient - because an appointment once every 6 months can be easily forgotten. Now, yes, I've seen Dr. Karen Jahimiak basically my whole life (visits home from college always included a trip to Complete Family Denstistry) - but I remember other dentist that had inspected my teeth quite aggressively (no fun!) they are no longer there. But my last visit I had another new dentist inspect my teeth, Dr. Cathy Raz and I was a little nervous. But she was super friendly and knew she never worked with me before and lightened the mood quite effortlessly. Oh and she had a very gentle touch too! I wouldn't mind her work with me again. I would recommend anyone to try the Complete Family Dentistry, especially families with kids. I have had cavities filled when I was younger and remember the experience to be as pleasant as that process can be. Lidocaine is a kid's best friend too... no shot in the gums, and it numbs you up. Just don't drink out of a straw until you get your feeling back!

Dr. Caputo was able to see me this morning at 8:00. He was able to save the tooth and put on a temporary crown. Permant crown will be put on next week. I only mention this little experience because sometimes my friends are looking for a dentist for whatever reason. I highly recommend Dr. Caputo. He and his staff are so kind, friendly and professional. He believes that he should try to do anything to save the tooth, rather than pull it. He's a good guy. Give him a try.
