They also were very pet friendly and even advertised a pet wash station which I was never able to find but seemed nice from the description. They were also close to Canyonlands and Arches, but not to close to the road where you would get traffic or anything.

It's a great RV campground in Utah, there's so many amazing offloading trails. One of the trails…read morethat we went on had beautiful rock, scenery, and water to go through. Another one we found dinosaur footprints. And I love how they're marked off so we can get out of the cars to go see the dinosaur footprints. We got to see lizards and enjoy sunsets. It was full hook ups. And there was so many activities for the kids to do like go swimming play cornhole connect for horseshoes. They had activity nights, definitely kid, friendly, and family friendly. They have bathrooms and showers The staff was very friendly. Loved all the fire pits around the pool. Wish we could've hit more of the offloading trails, but they were all day trips. Definitely a good experience.

Now, it was a partially due to a storm that caused a power outage, and I know this isn't the KOA's fault whatsoever, but the way things were handled were terrible and communication was very poor. They simply didn't care or try to do anything to make the stay a better experience. We spent two days in the heat with no pool access, no power to our campsite, and they only texted about an activity on Saturday that would have cost us $45 for our 3 kids to color on some t shirts. They let us know Saturday that the pool was probably going to remain closed for the rest of our visit, which was the main reason we stayed here. And somehow they could accept payment for the t shirt activity but they couldn't sell us some propane from the office. Definitely looking at other options for RV parks in Moab for the future.

The woman at the desk was very polite but informed me since I paid for both nights in advance, she couldn't refund me the one night. It's honestly not about the money, it's that i was already an emotional wreck and it was just the cherry on top. The only facility I used was the washers. $2 was the advertised price so I put in the quarters and it kept asking me for more. I was pleasantly surprised the dryer ran longer than advertised. My site was not level and although my dog enjoyed touching grass his last day on earth, I kept waiting for someone to complain. The price was high for a highway view but it is what it is. And no, I will never come back.

This is not a remote campsite . Bottom line you want to be close to Main Street and downtown this is the place for you . If you are a full timer who pays to stay in town for the WiFi this is not for you

They're also the perfect amount of comfort for those who plan to spend most of their time doing adventures in the spectacular surroundings of Arches and Canyonland. We stayed here two nights and slept terribly. Even with the free earplugs, we couldn't get a good nights sleep. Everything is so close together you also have no space from your neighbors. When we arrived someone else was encroaching in our site. The shared kitchen and bathroom facilities are nice, hence the 2 instead of 1 star.

Pros: we stayed in D1 cottage and the set up is homey and cute. Two person table, love seat pull…read moreout couch, two queen beds, a bath tub, coffee pot, mini fridge, toaster, etc. Each room contains a mini split which works great at heating and cooling the rooms. The mattresses are what you'd expect for staying off somewhere, not too hard but not too soft. We brought our own pillows so I can't speak to those. The bathroom has hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We didn't use the community areas, but the setup looks great and it has a grill. Cons: Cleanliness is lacking, there are cobwebs throughout. The floor needs a good vacuuming and a heavy mopping done. It looks like only spot cleaning is done when guests leave the property. Seeing the lack of cleanliness made me question if our sheets had actually been washed and that's a gross feeling. The bath tub has no stopper, but using a wash rag worked just fine. The hot water is lacking. A quarter of the way filling the tub the water turned cold, and it took a good 45 minutes for the water to heat back up. With three people needing to bathe/shower, it was problematic and very disappointing after a long day of being out in Arches N.P. Be sure to watch a YouTube video on the Hamilton Beach Brew Station coffee pot before using or you will have watered down cold coffee. Unfortunately, I did this after making our coffee, and wasted the coffee grounds and collagen powder I had brought. There is a lot of road noise, so if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. I don't think we will be back here again for the price we paid.
