One of the best parts about this place is that you're involved in the process. You aren't surprised at the end and then feel too awkward to say anything. Ryan is a skilled, genuine, and amazing barber. Right when I entered, he offered complimentary snacks and beverages with a smile, and the vibe was very relaxed, unlike many other barbers where the scene is often hectic. He takes as long as needed to ensure every single hair is cut the way you want it. I've been around to multiple "popular" barbers in the area, Gandy's, Chop it Up, Off Main Street, and countless others and Down to Cut was by far the best experience and the best cut I've had. Ryan asked what I wanted, gave his input regarding precisely what I am looking for and how my hair should be cut, and the final product was on point. This barbershop deserves massive amounts of exposure and business for Ryan's dexterity in detail and humble, chill attitude. I will definitely be coming back, and I'm confident he will deliver every time. I'm an extremely picky person when it comes to my hair, but Down to Cut has won me over. The price for a student like myself is decently affordable, as it is very similar to other barbershops. Definitely worth spending the money here compared to other barbers, though. It's worth it. I would highly recommend Ryan to anyone. I think Ryan is the best barber I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. He is the rare example of both a master-skilled barber and a courteous professional that puts his clients first and treats them with respect and kindness. His skills behind the clippers are obvious - his fades are tight and his lines are crisp. I have 3 mixed kids and they each have different hair and Ryan can cut them all with skill and precision. He does my beard and mustache and makes it look better than I possibly ever could. Ryan's shop is family friendly and he is an excellent dude. He's always been great to my children and they love him.
