The shop is conveniently located in downtown Edmonds and I really loved how you can just walk in and get the cut done relatively quickly. He is also very skilled and personable. However, beware. He will charge you way more than what's on the board, if he thinks he can. I took my son several times, and found this out after talking to several friends in the area. This is got to be one of my favorite places to come get a haircut or a cleanup or a shave. This guy is truly an artist and you can see that his customers love him whether they're new or they've been coming in here for years. The prices are just incredible. I needed to shave really bad before I flew back home so I came in and I was lucky enough to be a walk-in and get a spot But I understood why the place started filling up quickly. This guy is incredible. Very well done using the old school, razor to shave and very precise giving you a good clean look a master and being quick comfortable and safe ! The guy is a jerk and you are treated like dirt. Was left waiting forever as past customers with bad haircuts came back to fix damages, jumping the line. No respect & poor experience. It is also expensive. Never going back. read more

Expensive haircut and in and out in 10 mins. First time I was there and looked for a "barber" to get a quick high and tight. It was $40 cash or $45 with a credit card before tip ! I get it. Downtown Edmonds. Hair cut was just average. I won't be back. read more

Great haircut at a fair price. My wife asked me to not go anywhere else. Happy wife, happy life.

This was my second time coming to this barber. Upon arrival, I was greeted with Raad saying, "easy money" to the gentleman in the chair. They had a chuckle and I sat down. Every other customer after me was greeted with a hello and welcome. I was 4th in line so I waited patiently. Raad engaged in conversation with each of his customers which is absolutely expected...he was polite and courteous to them. When it was my turn, he motioned for another gentleman to get in the chair. I said that I was next and they both obliged, simple mistake. When I got in the chair is when everything went wrong. I told him what I wanted and from then on, it was a rush to get me out of the chair. I had to remind him for certain services (straight razor line up around my face) which we had previously discussed. My fade is incomplete, there's still hair on face above my beard line, my beard is uneven, and this haircut looks overall incomplete. I'm not a barber but I'll do my best to clean it up. I paid $55 for this rushed and incomplete haircut. I don't mind the price for professional and complete services. Moreover, he definitely seemed to cater to the white older customers more than me for sure. My first experience of this from a person of color. I guess he didn't expect me to be able to afford my haircut. ‍ haircuts usually make me feel good and boost my confidence...this was a bad experience. If anyone reads this and can suggest a barber that cuts type 4a-c hair, please let me know. I need help. Won't support RAAD ever again. Update: your response was a typical deflection. What you don't understand is that my review was based on my second experience. And reading other reviews, it seems that you do treat customers that are not white, differently. Another person felt the same way. I posted on Google as well because people need to know how you treat people based on race...you rushed me out of the chair without completing my haircut and all you cared about was being paid..not doing a good job. We had a fabulous experience at our first time at Raad's. They squeezed us in at the end of the day last Saturday and added our kiddo in even though the appointment was just for my partner. I travel a lot for work so I've been to a lot of barber shop. This one hands-down Has to be if not one of the best then the best barbershop I've been to. The employees maintain being professional and friendly in the same time. My Barber for that day was Mo he listen to my instructions cut my hair exactly how I wanted it and offered me a suggestion for tapering the back of my neck, which was a very good call. Raad The boss was very friendly and kind with a great taste of art. The Turkish art pieces on the walls brings so much life to the shop. Not to mention the sick chairs that they have. All in all I had a 10/10 experience. I recommend the shop for my friends and family and everyone in town. If you haven't gone there you're missing out these guys are a great team with a lovely shop.
