    This was the worst salon service I have personally received. I was aware of the negative reviews but decided to give this place a try because I needed a last min appointment. I booked a pedicure but the service I received consisted only of nail filing, cutting cuticle and polish. There was no exfoliating on feet, no removal of dead skin, no pumice stone, no massage, no moisturizer, or other standard pedicure steps provided. When I arrived, the salon appeared disorganized and unprofessional. The condition of the space looked poorly maintained and the tools used appeared worn and unclean. I knew it was not a place I would return to, but I remained professional during the visit. The following day, I contacted the phone number that had texted me regarding my appointment to let them know about the service I received but I was told that the "polish change" service I received is what they consider a "standard pedicure," which does not align with commonly accepted pedicure services. After leaving a review, the business contacted me directly and stated they would post camera footage in response to my review, extremely unprofessional. I will not recommend this place to anyone!

    The end result was not bad but the process was so painful

    I usually don't leave negative reviews, but my experience at DTF Nail Salon was so concerning that I feel it's important to share in detail. From the very beginning of the service, I was extremely uncomfortable. The vibe was unwelcoming. The technician filed into the skin around my nails until it was raw, and I was even cut with the cuticle scissors. She also aggressively filed away the underside of my natural nails that I had been carefully growing out, which was both painful and unnecessary. On top of that, she used so much alcohol and acetone throughout the process that my skin was literally burning. Despite all this, she did not properly clean or cut my cuticles until after applying the tips, which is not the standard procedure. Instead of regular nail tips, she used full-coverage tips. Not only did these make my normally slim fingers appear bulky and uneven, but several nails were crooked and looked completely unnatural. She applied gel underneath the full-coverage tips, cured it with excess product, and trapped dirt from underneath my nails inside the cured gel. Because she never cleaned underneath before application, I now have hardened dirt and debris literally sealed under my nails, which is unhygienic and unacceptable. When I expressed how painful the process was, the technician dismissed me and said, "What do you want me to do?" instead of showing concern or adjusting her technique. To make matters even more uncomfortable, I was asked to pay mid-service after voicing how much I was hurting. My impression was that she may have been worried I wouldn't pay, but I want to be clear: I am a respectful customer. I still paid in full and even tipped $10 out of courtesy and professionalism, despite the poor service. Unfortunately, the end result is nails that are fat, crooked, and painful, with raw and damaged skin around both my nails and toes. I left feeling not only disappointed but genuinely concerned for my nail health. I will not be returning to this salon, and I cannot recommend it to others. A nail service should never cause this level of pain, damage, or risk of infection.

    THE CONFIRMATION FOR THE ONE SERVICE

    I've had good experiences here in the past, but after what happened on April 24, 2025, I can't let this go unspoken. I booked a regular mani-pedi for my grandmother, and my 13-year-old sister accompanied her. The appointment was booked under my name and fully paid in advance -- service and tip included. But the owner mixed up my information with my sister's in the system. Rather than calmly asking for clarification, the owner began yelling mid-appointment at my grandmother and sister, saying, "YOU DIDN'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. You need two confirmation links." My sister FaceTimed me in tears while I was in class as the owner loudly insisted they didn't pay -- even though we had payment receipts and confirmation links. Even worse -- my sister speaks English, and I've only spoken to the owner in English. But as soon as my sister started talking, the owner switched to Spanish and began acting like she didn't understand her -- which felt like she was avoiding accountability. Thankfully, other clients helped calm the situation and handed her the phone. I explained that my grandmother had the appointment, and it was under my sister's name because of their own mix-up. After I sent proof of payment, she finally acknowledged the mistake -- but never once apologized. To make matters worse, the whole environment felt like it was run in panic. From what I saw and heard, nail techs are rushed, nervous, and seem pressured under management. This kind of customer treatment and internal stress shouldn't exist -- especially when your staff is doing everything right. Again -- the techs are not the problem. They're respectful and kind. But the way the owner handles mistakes, clients, and her own staff is unacceptable. P.S. she says all appointments including regular mani pedi last 2 hours. in the image clearly its one. She lies a lot and does not care for anyone other than herself and taking money.

    Coming for the first time in was greeted as I walked in. I was looking for a color and Yanelis the Nail tech that I had my appointment with saw me and assisted me. She found me such a beautiful color! Yanelis did a great job with my nails, took her time, and informed me more about apres vs acrylic. I went with Apres! Yanelis is a great nail tech and I absolutely loved the way my nails and pedicure came out! Yanelis also added a little touch of glitter to them to help them stand out!

My usual nail tech was on vacation and I came here due to positive reviews on Yelp. I had a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. One of the nails on my left hand was applied in a way that touched the skin on the side, which caused it to lift off the very next day. I had to return to have it fixed, but I was not happy with the repair; as the fixed nail looks noticeably darker than the rest. After that, other nails also began chipping which was frustrating. I was also not impressed with the cleanliness compared to my usual manicure and pedicure salon. For example, a plastic liner was not automatically used in the pedicure tub; I had to request it. I also noticed that nail files appeared to be reused, which made me uncomfortable. Overall, the experience felt like more hassle than it was worth. I've been coming here to Sandy's studio for well over a year now and I'm not stopping anytime soon. She has been the only person who has actually been able to grow out my nails. Also I'm writing this post a week after I got my nails done and 5 of my nails have completely tore off or chipped. Never wasting $50 here again, best if you find another place! Mind you this is 7 days before my wedding day.... I was hoping to have these while family and friends were here , for parties and gatherings before my big day. EPIC FAIL
