Dear Bloomingdale's Customer Relations,…read more I am writing to formally express my disappointment with how my gift return has been handled and with the customer service I have received throughout this process. I received a pair of Tory Burch sandals as a birthday gift from a close friend. Since the size was incorrect, I followed Bloomingdale's return instructions and mailed the item back using the prepaid return label provided by Bloomingdale's. The original gift receipt was enclosed in the return package, as instructed. After weeks of trying to resolve the matter, I was repeatedly told that Bloomingdale's could not locate my returned item. I spent a significant amount of time contacting customer service, explaining the situation over and over, yet no one was able to provide a satisfactory answer or resolution. I have now learned something even more upsetting. Instead of issuing the merchandise credit to me, the gift recipient, Bloomingdale's refunded the value of the item to the original purchaser--my friend who gave me the birthday gift. This mistake has put me in an incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing position. Not only have I lost the approximately $200 merchandise credit that rightfully belonged to me, but Bloomingdale's actions also risk damaging a personal friendship. My friend may now believe that I intentionally returned their birthday gift, which is both hurtful and completely contrary to what actually happened. This situation was created solely because Bloomingdale's mishandled my return. I trusted Bloomingdale's to process a standard gift return correctly. Instead, I have experienced poor customer service, a lack of accountability, and an outcome that has caused both financial loss and unnecessary personal distress. I respectfully request that Bloomingdale's immediately investigate this matter and issue the appropriate merchandise credit to me. I also ask for an explanation of how a properly submitted gift return was processed in a way that refunded the original purchaser rather than the gift recipient. I have always expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer care from Bloomingdale's. I sincerely hope this matter can be resolved promptly and fairly. I look forward to your response. Bloomingdale's has been around since 1861, opening their first location in New York City. This world has definitely changed so much since 1861 and we have seen a shift to online purchases in the last few decades, so it is good to see Bloomingdale's still here on the Mall at Millenia. This Bloomingdale's has a good selection (which you would expect from a department store) and the store is clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this particular location of Bloomingdale's.

I have always found shopping for work clothes very stressful, especially when you are new employee and your goal is to make a good impression. This little jewel of a place alleviated the stress with its rows of gorgeous clothing (that actually had the size I needed), and excellent employees that went above and beyond (one came up with a strategy combining my coupons with sales, even ringing them up in separate transactions to save me money!). I'm incredibly picky with what I wear in my professional life, and it speaks volumes that I walked out with bags of beautiful new clothing to wear that were just right for the office! It was also a timesaver to be shopping in a woman-only themed store, which eliminates the need to locate the women's section like in other stores. Additionally, I love that this is located in a mall that is smaller and friendlier as opposed to other Florida malls. Parking is a breeze, and the free samples of delicious food offered on the way to Express are a bonus!

She was unaware that the water fountains were in an employee only area. An employee rudely told her that she wasn't allowed back there. We aren't upset about that. We understand that. It was the fact that she was called sir when she's not a sir. I get mistakes happen, but it was really upsetting for her. We will most likely not be returning to this location.

They did not try to sell me on a different style or different color way that I clearly was not looking for which I appreciated immensely. I am not a big TB shopper so the information was very helpful especially as they were aware up front that I would not be purchasing in store or even from TB online - the items I went in for were on sale on ShopBop but not at Tory Burch, so there was no chance of a commission for them. As someone who did the rounds of retail both low end and luxury, I like to be upfront about this. That's good customer service and goes a long way with me personally. I will be back to shop at this location in future with this experience in mind.

TB is a smaller store & can only fit so many due to Covid. They greeted me & I told them I had shoes on hold. The process was pretty quick. Customer Service was awesome! I wasn't in need of luggage for me or anyone on my list so thank goodness their display showed some other clever and neat travel items they offered. When I entered I was warmly greeted by a lady and gentleman working there who quickly presented me with several varieties of an item I wished to see. There was no pressure sales but showing me all the options and answering any questions I had. After selecting one I liked I started towards the register and many other, well placed for spontaneous sale, items caught my eye which I then added a few to my growing pile of gifts. They have some really neat things for travel and being one that loves to travel I'll for sure be back here again. Added now was another large bag to those I was already toting around and leaving I wondered if I really should have bought something with wheels to tote all this and more back to the car on the other side of the mall parked what seemed like miles away because of the crowds. Great little shop and I would recommend you swing in and check it out.
