Staff here is super professional and helpful. Came here after having a bad experience somewhere else and my nose ring fell out. Jessica Bone looked at the area and tried to get the ring back in for free! She ended up doing my navel and nostril a month later and I've had no issues. I had another piercing done with Eli too! I was so nervous to go in, but he made me feel so comfortable and made my experience so pleasant. He was so understanding, friendly, and professional! Now that my tattoo is fully healed, I figured it was time to post a review. I got my very first tattoo here when I turned 18, and Jessica did a magnificent job. It still looks great 3 years on. Due to that experience, I returned here to get another tattoo for my 21st. Eli was a fantastic artist. He took my simple reference pictures and transformed them into a beautiful piece that I loved. The appointment went well and he was super understanding and accommodating whenever I was feeling uncomfortable. Went in to get a new nose stud. They keep the door locked which is weird since there's absolutely nothing to steal in the front area. When I called to asked to be let in, they wouldn't unlock the door until it was my turn even though they had seating inside. The person who put my piercing in was very unfriendly, never even told me her name or told me to have a good day. They also make you pay beforehand so you don't have the option not to tip because they could mess with your piercing or tattoo if you don't. Definitely the most unpleasant experience I've had with a piercer. Would recommend driving a bit out of your way to go elsewhere if you care about customer service. read more

The only reason I am even thinking about giving this place a one star is because my tattoo artist yesterday was amazing and did a great job on the tattoo they did for me. Other then that I just called yelled at and accused for making a page trying to hack their face book when really all I did was make my own post on my own page and tag them in it of the art work they did for me yesterday. The guy that just called me yelled at me to take down my post and said it was not okay to tag them in it even tho I was promoting their business and for the art work they did. Very rude and disrespectful for calling me and coming at me for something I didn't do. I'll try to make this short but here goes: I hadn't gotten a tattoo for a while and decided to come here. It had good reviews and was in the area. I spoke with Eli. He asked me what I wanted and asked for my budget. I liked a few of his tattoos on instagram so he could see the style I was going for and showed a few reference images, but apparently someone else manages his account so who knows if he ever saw my other images? The day of: * He came with 3 stencils. Honestly none of them were as I had specified but I did fall in love with one, it was really nice and I didn't want him to have to rework a drawing because he was ALREADY complaining about how clients come in, ask for so much detail in a tiny space, ask for constant edits, etc. I somewhat empathized and was like OK, I trust you, you have a beautiful stencil, let's get this thing done. Keep in mind he does not allow you to take photos of the stencils, Im assuming because of stuff like this. Anyway, the whole thing looks beautiful on paper. Only issue is it was double my already pretty large budget. Why did he present something double my budget? Beats me, but it was the only one I liked and I figured the more expensive, the better quality, right? Not always the case. * He charges my card, shortly after takes me back, and then tells me he just smoked. I don't care what you do in your spare time, but why are you telling me you just smoked bud when Im about to get tattooed by you? Totally unprofessional, but I figured I already paid him, Im not getting my money back, so I got on the table. * Talked about his clients and called them, and I quote, "whores". * Just got really inappropriate. I don't care if you work in a tattoo parlor, I'm not one of your friends and don't care about your sex life. Also, keep in mind that people can't come in with you, neither to the consult or the visit. * Immediately after, I loved the tattoo but I noticed there were details where Im guessing the stencil wiped off, it wouldn't be hard to fix, and after trying to get more money off me he offered to fix it for free, but I honestly don't feel safe to go back. I really dislike the tattoo now because it just makes me feel like a permanent scar of me being an idiot and getting ripped off. Ultimately I paid 1600 for a 4 hour tattoo that I have to get re-worked by someone else. I'm already looking for another artist as I wanted more work done, this just isn't the place. Also, side note, but DON'T show up early. Edit: Had a consult with a legitimate artist yesterday. Learned I was overcharged and my original budget was accurate. Learned its not normal to not allow clients to invite a hand holder. Realized touch-up should be free. A 4 hour tattoo should not cost what this did, and rude customer service is just unacceptable when it comes to altering your literal body. Absolutely BEST tattoo experience I have ever had. I cannot give enough star power to Jessica Bone. Her talent is serious, and her personality is cool and charismatic, making her great to work with. Jessica did a smaller tattoo for me on my inner arm. She helped to work up the sketch and we went through a couple revisions with the scaling and fit to my arm. While some tattoo artists can get annoyed with going through iterations multiple times, Jessica was happy to rework the piece with me to touch it up and provide a sketch exactly to what I wanted. When doing the actual tattoo, Jessica had light hands and precision. We also had a good conversation, and I didn't want to leave the shop because I enjoyed talking with her so much! Last note: the shop has individual rooms set up instead of a large open space like most tattoo places. This setup makes it a private and comfortable for people getting new tattoos. Eli is working on a very difficult cover up on my arm. I was referred to the shop by someone I met in passing. After visiting the shop and talking with Eli... he was willing to do the cover up. I paid my deposit and then waited for my first appointment. While waiting for my appointment I made sure to research him. I did come across a yelp review here that couldn't be further from the truth. The women claimed he was a rip off artist. This is a complete lie. Eli and I went over pricing from the beginning. I did end up making changes to the cover up that changed the pricing. He was very clear with me about the price changes. We are now coming up on the 4th session to complete the tattoo cover up. Anyone looking for a cover up tattoo should be prepared to spend more on it. Not just any artist can do a cover up. Eli is a cover up master! I had a very thick black band that desperately needed a cover up. I've had many great artists turn me away until I met Eli. I have attached my pictures as reference to anyone that is interested. I met the owners of DGT (Yougman family) back in 2003. I heard from a friend they were known for tattooing large scale designs. I was immediately referred to Ray Youngman who specializes in traditional and old school art. I explained what I wanted in regards to a fluid of motion design for a half sleeve. I thought I sounded crazy but Ray was right on track. I booked in appointment and the rest is history. I have since been back for even bigger pieces. I was educated and in the right direction by the Youngman's and 8 years later I am still getting more work done. DGT tattoo's hold up very well, clean lines and shading are superb!
