I came as a walk-in in November 2019 with a design and they took me in right away. The studio is clean and modern. My artist was Jerry and I'm so in love with what he's done. It's my second tattoo, so I didn't really have sense of style that I wanted (was kind of down for anything lol), but I LOVE the way it came out and the stippling he's done. I get so many compliments on it. It's healed beautifully; here it is nearly two years later. Thanks Jerry!! edited to add it was ~$400

First tattoo alert! When I realized there was downtime healing time I decided to get 2 at the same time. I used Yelp and insta to find Brittany. She does fine line. She is very knowledgeable and really so sweet. You have to book in advance. My consultation was walk in but she didn't have openings for at least 3-4 weeks. I sent her some images and she made some shapes for me. I had her modify one and completely changed my mind on another. She was very professional. She was running an hour behind for her previous tattoo, which happens it's all good. She still gave me all my time despite the last min changes. She's so easy to talk to. Also her schedule is always packed! The place is very clean and the restroom was spotless. Highly recommend color theory, especially Brittany. Thank you for a great first experience. I can totally see how this can become an addiction

Ci totally knocked it out of the park with my tattoo. I brought in a rough sketch of what I wanted and he brought it to life with his creativity. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable. The shop itself is neat/clean and has tv's on every wall so you can watch movies while you're in the chair. I'm so glad I found this shop and I will be coming back when I'm ready for my next piece :-)

I emailed the email on their website about my artists communication, and the way she presents pricing. The email : "Good afternoon, I am beyond frustrated with how hard it is to get in contact with Brittany. I emailed her two weeks ago asking about how much a tattoo that I am getting with her in June will cost me. I made this appointment a month ago (march) . I then direct messaged her on instagram yesterday (4/24) and got no response. But did see her posting to her instagram story today (4/25). I have worked with a couple of different artists. And honestly any time I have made an appointment with an artist outside of Brittany, I get all of the information I need the day of making the appointment. Including, price and how many sessions they think will be needed etc. I guess I am frustrated because this isn't my first run in with her. I have been seeing her for a year or so now as my tattoo artist. She does amazing work which is why I continue to come back. But there have been things over the past year that have really bothered me. I will admit that I haven't brought it up to her or anyone at color theory at all because I wanted to be the bigger person and let it go and move on / forward. My first issue is pricing. I never know how much I'm truly paying until I walk in the day of. I think I have to go out of my way to ask how much the estimate is going to be. When I feel like that information should be included and provided when scheduling an appointment. When I have worked with other artists, we always figure out an estimate that works for both the artist and I while making the appointment. I have never not paid for what was agreed on. In the past I had been quoted an estimate of $600-$800 on a larger tattoo that I got on my arm by Brittany. Brittany was unable to finish the tattoo in the one session. It ended up taking 3 sessions to finish. So I paid about 1,400 instead of the $600 to $800 that I was initially quoted as an estimate. Which I was pretty upset about. But there is nothing you can do. I haven't been in a situation like that before. Where it took longer and more sessions than expected to finish. Since this was my first time in this situation, I let it go, did not say a word and made more appointments to finish this tattoo. I emailed her a couple of weeks ago asking how much this tattoo will cost me so I know how much I'm paying before I walk in the door. I like to know in advance because I have other things to pay for like bills etc. And I get literally no response. I am frustrated because I have an appointment in almost a month with her, and no idea how much this is going to cost or if it will be done in one session or not. I am checking my email daily waiting for a response. It has now been two weeks. I direct messaged her yesterday via instagram and did not get a response until writing this email ( a day later ). Like I said I did get a response on instagram today, just now. In response to her response to me, ( today 4/25) { see inserted picture } I feel like these questions should have been asked the day I made the tattoo appointment. What if I had never reached out to Brittany ? Would she have ever reached out to me with these questions --Or not ? I feel like the answer is honestly no. Why did I have to reach out to her for her to ask me these questions. If these are questions she needed answered why were they not asked at the time of booking. I would like to continue being a customer of color theory and a client of Brittany's. But I did need to let you know how I have been feeling about her communication overall, including pricing and response time. I genuinely feel that sizing, placement , style, ideas, cost and amount of sessions should be discussed while the appointment is being booked." About 30-45 minutes later I get $100 refund from Brittany via Venmo. Next I get what seems to be a copy and pasted direct message from her stating that my appointment has been canceled and I have been refunded my deposit. All of this without communication from Brittany. I respond to her message about my appointment cancelation stating I never wanted to cancel my appointment etc. I don't get a response so I block her and move on with my day. I then later receive an email of screenshots of her response to me before / after I blocked her ( unsure which happened first ). She basically says and I quote " I understand your frustration to the extent of emailing ctt" and also " There's definitely better ways to communicate your feelings, which would be directly to me!" To which I would say, I did handle this maturely. And I did communicate my feelings fine. I will say I am disappointed in how this was handled. I put my feelings and concerns out there. I left the door open for a conversation and color theory did not meet me half way. They canceled my appointment and refunded me my money

I'd been planning a tattoo in my head for the last year. I knew what I wanted but now how I wanted to piece it all together, colors, size, etc. I worked with Brandon. I met with him about a week before and he took the few photos I sent and turned them into the most beautiful tattoo! When I got to the shop, we worked on sizing, positioning, and color. It took about 2.5 hours and I got to watch a couple movies while he worked his magic. I'm a week out in the healing process and it's been so easy. My tattoo was covered with an adhesive plastic for 48 hours which took all the guess work out of cleaning/moisturizing and allowed the major healing to happen. Such a great experience from start to finish! Thanks again!!

Fantastic. The atmosphere is comfortable while being modern and hip, and the artists are really great!! Brittney did an amazing job on my wrist and ear tattoos. It was a really fun experience and I'm definitely going to go to Color Theory for the rest of the tattoos and piercings I get in the future!

    Before & after work

I researched Many tattoo shops before putting my deposit down with my artist Will at Color Theory Tattoo. What Color Theory has that is different from other shops I was looking at is that they have patience to talk to each customer who walks through their door and form a relationship with what they are going to do. My artist Will did that & when I made my appointment and gave him my ideas prior to the day of my appointment. Once I was in the chair getting my tattoos had be done freehand on my arms. All the artists there were one of kind & extremely talented. I would refer everyone here & I won't go anywhere else.

My boyfriend getting his 1st tattoo by Will

WENT in as a walk in with my boyfriend. Place was really cool, modern and clean. Looked pretty new. Will and Ci sqeezed us in between appointments. It was my boyfriend's very first tattoo and he was a little anxious. Will and Ci were so friendly and VERY professional. We came in with our ideas, and as knowledgeable professional artists--Will and Ci gave us their opinion on size and location and EXPLAINED to us why. We are VERY happy with the results! We will definitely be back!!!! Thank you Will and Ci!!!!

Make sure you and your tattoo artist are on the same page of what you're looking for to avoid disappointment.

This place is great. Very clean and decent atmosphere!! I researched all of the artists work on Facebook/Instagram and they are amazing. Very talented!! I do however recommend that you always confirm with your tattoo artist EXACTLY what you're looking for beforehand. I was there almost 2 months ago, and my tattoo does not look like the example I gave the artist. I'm pretty disappointed that I spent a good chunk of money on my first big piece that I do not love. Don't get me wrong, the design and artwork are pretty, but it is not what I asked for. I shouldn't have to be thinking of how to fix it the same day I got it. :(

This piercing shop is located inside of a strip mall that is somewhat a journey to find. You walk in and are met with basically what looks like a flea market but indoors! Angels Body Piercing is right at the front. I was so extremely nervous because my main concern with any piercing is cleanliness and sterilization. The last thing I wanted was an infection. Maria was absolutely amazing. Very clean! Changes gloves and a whole wipe down between customers as they should. You're given hand sanitizer to clean your hands. Your ears are properly cleaned with an alcohol swab. All jewelry is packed in their own small sterile packages. My first piercing I had since I was a baby was uneven. Despite that, Maria was able to make my new piercing nice and even! The pain was not bad at all. The earrings are screwed on so they don't get undone. She was quick and so very kind to my nervousness. Maria truly is the best and I would recommend her to anyone. I also appreciate that when I asked a few questions, she made it a point to tell my friend and I that they cannot answer any questions over the phone about the piercings. The reason being is that no pictures or videos are suffice- they want you to come in so they can carefully examine it and direct you as accurate as possble (such as if you must go seek medical attention). This shows to me that they truly care about their customers and are not dismissive and this policy is very ethical! Overall, I loved my experience. I'll be the first to admit- I originally thought it was shady from looking at it at first and was going to back out. I'm glad I didn't because they are all wonderful and they know what they're doing. I guess my only note would be the price point. I referred to their website which was great that it stated $25 per ear, with extra cost for different earrings. I chose to upgrade which added another $15 per ear. No problem. The only issue is that there's an additional cost if you use credit card, I wish this was disclosed on their website. About $10 for both ears. I also had thought that the piercing came along with the care kit that some places usually provide. That was another $25. Plus tip, which I felt was well deserved. All in all, it cost $127.80 which was way higher than I anticipated. Still, it was a great service, and I love my second ear piercing. I have no regrets. Please come support Angels Body Piercing! Ask for Maria, she is the best!

I opted for the first choice, as it was a shorter healing period, about the same price as the other, and was a spray bottle (no cotton balls needed). The total price came out to around $43 with one of the cheapest set of sterling silver earrings. I was a little sad as they didn't inform me about the aftercare prices when I called, so it was more pricey than I was expecting. My piercer (didn't get her name) was clearly very experienced and competent! She knew her stuff and was very efficient. They use a piercing GUN here, which some people have issues with but I think is fine for lobes. She made them very even and pierced very straight/painlessly!
