The launch is super easy and the instructions on where to go were clear. This is a great choice when you are thinking about a kayak outing self-guided. I booked with White River online in the morning, and that afternoon I was on my way to have a little adventure. From checking in, to getting ready for my voyage, and being on the water in great equipment, I had such a lovely time. Fast forward to about a week ago, I traveled back to Branson for a musical, and I knew I had to go back to White River. I had the same experience with great staff, study/safe equipment and a peaceful journey on the river. The store has a lot to offer for purchase including: clothes, water shoes, sunscreen dry bags and more. You have the option of renting dry bags and a waterproof speaker at a pretty low cost. The dry bag is a must. You're given options for which trip you want to take. My sister and I chose Taneycomo, and it was a little under 4 miles. (We were provided a map for the trek.). We were picked up from out ending point, and taken back to the original location. Sn: Any business that offers free period products is alright with me! Love this place, they will always have my business when I'm in town.

I overwhelmingly recommend this place! I visited Memorial Day on my way home from a weekend at…read moreTablerock Lake which is very close by, and had a an amazing time. I only planned to ride a couple hours but had so much fun I kept getting on that shuttle and stayed the whole day. I've been to a few ski resorts that offered downhill in the summer, and thankfully this is not that! It didn't feel like a corporate cash cow, more like a best friend's personal dream playground on steroids. The trails are epic and well maintained. As expected, they offer a variety of ride levels for everyone. They have trails that are fast and flowy, easy for beginners yet great for more advanced riders that like to go fast. Next, gnarly technical trails with drops, rocks and lots of natural obstacles to test your nerve and suspension. I did manage with my hardtail. Finally, the playground runs, with lots of manmade features and great jump lines. All of which were very well labeled, marked and consistent so you don't have to worry about getting into something you weren't expecting. Shuttle runs up are managed by a fleet of military troop transport vehicles that appeared to be very well maintained, set up with solid racks for the bikes, and plenty of seating. How cool is that? I never waited more than a couple minutes for a ride. The main compound is beautiful and modern with an aesthetically pleasing color palette that compliments the lush forested canyon. Wrenching service is available which I was thrilled about. It looked like a ParkTool factory shop so I popped in there and within a few minutes, I believe his name was Zach, who is awesome, had my chain oiled, tires pressure adjusted, and my whole set-up checked to make sure it was fit for the task. They also offer really nice full suspension rentals that were so affordable, I regretted bringing my own bike. Now for my "second" favorite part of the day, lunch. I ordered the Howler Burger and paired it with an IPA. I am not kidding when I say it was possibly the best burger I've ever had. Seriously! The tables were nicely stained and lacquered. The only thing I would add would be seating options under the canopy of trees as the dining area is in the only open air space and the sun was radiating heat through those new black umbrellas. They have a nice shop, with parts, riding apparel, gifts, snacks,... just about anything you could possibly need and the prices were comparable to my local bike shop!? Not like the aforementioned ski/ bike resorts. In fact, everything there was priced as if I was in the middle of town. Now my favorite part of the day, I was helped by a very beautiful and lovely lady whom I think was named Jan. I hope I got that right as she remembered my name after being there only one other time two years earlier. I'm not that memorable so kudos to her. The parking is behind a medium hill, about the only pedaling I had to do that day. I realized they have a four seater RZR with bike racks for a parking lot shuttle only after I made the trip two times. It was a great trail though. They have a nice stage for events and offer really cool camp sites with decks and glamping tents. In all, I can't say enough good things about the place. All the staff is incredibly friendly and invested in you having a good experience. The facility is beautiful, the food is fantastic and most importantly, they are serving up smiles for miles of downhill. Sorry, I had so much fun I didn't take time for photos.

After making a counter offer on a boat they were selling for a third party, we suggested making a deposit to show our good faith. Hunter said that wasn't necessary as, "I won't sell it out from under you." Imagine our surprise to find the boat gone from the lot! When asked, Hunter admitted he sold it. He had not contacted us to see if we might increase the offer. And did he even present our offer to the boat owner? He tried to cover-up this gross behavior by saying he left us a voicemail. Since we had provided our landline phone number, which is connected to a recording device, we knew this to be untrue. In hindsight we should have checked with their yelp reviews, and then we would have have been forwarded, "Let the buyer beware." In our estimation, neither company nor their employee are creditable representatives of good will and fair dealing we should expect in the Ozarks. And that is the kindest thing we can say.

I had my Kawasaki Teryx UTV picked up for repair by Branson West Marine and Power Sports in Branson…read moreWest, Missouri on August 2, 2022. One week later, they called to tell me the machine repairs were completed, and they delivered it back to me later that day. Upon inspection, I found a 5" rip in the driver's seat, which was not there when they originally picked it up. I immediately called them up and spoke to Julie Feagans, Operations Manager of this business. She asked me to send her a picture of the ripped seat, which I did. She then called me, and said she did not believe they were responsible for this rip. She also had the Service Manager on the line, and he proceeded to tell me that he took pictures of this machine earlier that morning, and the rip was in the picture at that time, and that the seat showed major wear and tear. Really? (see picture) They picked the machine up one week before, had it in their shop for an entire week, but because he took a picture of the rip on the morning of the return, that means the rip was already there? And this seat was like new, as you can see in the picture. There was no wear and tear visible anywhere on the seat as he claimed. So, he lies to the Operations Manager, and she just takes his word for it? She even told me originally that she talked to the person that worked on my machine, and he told her he never saw the rip. So, in my opinion, this business can't be trusted with your equipment, and if they damage it, they will not take responsibility for what they do! Beware, and find a reputable dealer to work on your equipment so you don't end up with a damaged machine like I did. They will not take responsibility and will not make it right if they damage it!
