My initial consultation revealed that I needed a root canal. Never having had one, I was nervous, but Dr Chad Nelson put me at ease by explaining the procedure and what to expect. We caught the issue just in time, and I was able to have an entirely pain-free procedure. Thanks to Chad's excellent work, I have also been pain free after the procedure, although I expected to be taking a lot of aspirin, I haven't had to pop a single pill. The entire staff here is friendly and helpful. They make a trip to the dentist very pleasant! They were able to book appointments in a couple days over the phone, where I had called other dental practices in the past who told me it was a two-month wait to get in.

He and his team are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable in the field. Dr. Bender recommended having a cavity filling / replacement done of my old silver fillings. I've had the silver fillings since I was a kid and I was hesitant on getting work done especially with a new dentist. Upon my request, Dr. Bender took the time to explain everything that he recommended over email and the reasoning for his recommendations. It made sense so I went for my replacement appointment. As a child, I've had some aggressive dentists - but this time, I barely felt the needle for the numbing injection. The filling was seamless and I even got to watch Netflix during the appointment! The appointment was done in about 50 mins for one filling. It was very quick and it turns out I was nervous for no reason at all. :) Not to mention, the new white filling looks great. The office definitely lives up to the "Modern" name and I noticed they are currently working on renovating other parts of the office space. Everything was clean and well kept. I'm thankful to have found a dentist office near me.

After a referral did the root canal I went back to Dr Pham to have the crown done. It was the source of continual pain. Dr Pham suggested that the tooth next to it may also need a root canal, which was not the case. It turned out after months of pain it was the crown. It was too big and food was getting trapped under it. Dr Pham acts as though he is doing you a favor for not charging you to fix his mistakes. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

I had a molar chip recently, the tooth was extensively filled about 10 years ago (very close to the nerve) and finally chipped from the decay adding up over this last decade. She was able to remove the filling and not much more tooth even with the extra decay, saving me from having to get an expensive root canal. Also I have a DHMO plan, which are always tricky with billing, but they offered to wait on collecting payment until everything comes back from my insurance so that I'm not overcharged. You should always get an estimate before you pay dentists, I got all the procedure codes from the estimate and checked with my insurance what I should be charged. There was a decently large discrepancy which is why we are waiting on the final insurance bill. I did have to wait for about a week and a half to be seen for my broken tooth and then another week for the real majority of the work, but I don't think that's too bad for a practice that usually books very far out.

Please note that this five star review comes from someone who HATES going to the dentist. Location: Centerpointe Dental has two locations (Lakeville & Burnsville). The Lakeville location is easy to get to, near Target (I have a Target shopping problem...) and they have a private parking lot that makes it easy to drop off patients and park. Service: The staff is beyond friendly, skilled, knows what they're doing. The staff at Centerpoint truly does what's best for the patient and they put the patient(s) first. I was told by a dentist at a local clinic that I would need two veneers post root canal. I went for a second opinion with Dr. Krech; he was able to internally bleach my tooth and saw no need for one veneer, let alone two. He saved me time and money and I;m forever grateful for this. You can tell the staff are passionate about dental health and love what they do! This factor truly makes a difference in the level of care and again, putting the patient first over a possibly higher payout. Insurance: Centerpointe works with most major insurance companies. If you don't have insurance, they'll talk options with you to see what works best for you and your budget. My insurance doesn't cover internal teeth bleaching, so I called around to a few dental practices to get an idea on pricing and Centerpointe definitely had the better pricing out of three different practices. The actual dentist was fine during the one appointment I was able to keep, but my last two appointments were a complete joke. The first one they canceled on me, which already left a bad enough impression that I was ready to be done with this place, but my wife booked another appointment so I decided to give them a second chance. What a mistake. "We gave your appointment away" For a business that expects people to plan months ahead, they seem to have zero respect for their patients' time or schedules. If you have nothing going on in your life and can drop everything whenever they decide, maybe this place is for you. Otherwise, don't waste your time.
