Dr. Franco put a crown on an upper back tooth. I had pain that did not resolve so I returned to…read moreher and she made an adjustment. She said if I continued having pain to return in a couple of months. It was clear that same day that the problem was not resolved. I didn't want to wait a couple months so I found a different dentist. He made 4 adjustments over the period of a year, and I continued to have pain. Finally, he said he needed to remove the crown to see what was going on. It turned out that Dr. Franco had left decay under the crown. The tooth was very irritated so he put a temporary on with the hope it would quiet down. It did not. Ultimately, he had to pull it. I wrote to Dr Franco and asked her to return the money that I had paid for the crown, and to pay to replace the tooth. She returned the money for the crown, but she did not pay to replace the tooth. The letter she sent with the refund said "as a courtesy" she was refunding the money. No apology, no acknowledgment of the decay she left under the crown, and no acknowledgment that I lost the tooth.

Jodi on the front desk staff has been rude, cold, and passive aggressive. Jodi gets very defensive and blunt when I would verify my billing questions with her. The billing situation is bad, they add credit card fees, steep no show fees inside of 48 hours, and don't work with you on bills. Jodi is always incredibly passive aggressive that I did not partake in their text reminders, because when I did I was bombarded with text blasts. I strongly suggest that anyone who goes here double check every line of their bill. When I asked to speak directly with the dentist about my concerns, Jodi brushed me off and refused to connect me, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. With a standing disagreement on one bill, and the inability to speak directly to the owner of the business, they dropped me as a patient within less than a month of being seen. Also if you're a parent you should know they take pictures of all the kids that go to their practice and post them for anybody to see, I feel as though that is not a safe practice for the local neighborhood. The whole experience still leaves me feeling taken advantage of and completely disrespected. I would never recommend this place to anyone if they have to talk to Jodi. If you care about being treated decently and not getting nickel and dimed for everything, stay away from Brimhall Dentistry.

I loved that they were able to give me my "to do" list for all the stuff my teeth needed. I was very pleased with one of the team members there, Fateemah, who cleaned my teeth and gave me a lot of tips on how to keep my teeth and gums healthy. I found out she moved to a different state, thus my journey for a hygienist began... On 07/08/2020, I came to this office to get my teeth cleaned. I was greeted by the receptionists with smiles, I'll assume they were smiles since masks are required in the office, hint hint. I also wanted to get a slight pain checked out from a nearby area close to a crown I had put in. I was seen by Fateemah, as she was kind enough to keep me updated on where she moved. Since they are part of the Smiles Generation network, getting my info back and forth with North Decatur Dentistry was pretty easy. She cleaned my teeth thoroughly once again, and congratulated me on my progress. I didn't get a star sticker but healthier teeth is just as good for me. I was then seen by Dr Egan who was very pleasant and knowledgeable as she was pretty quick to diagnose my pain. She made a slight adjustment to my crowns in hopes that it would help with the occasional pain I'd have. She also told me what other work I needed, but since my time is short here, I'll be getting that work done back in Atlanta. All in all, I had a great experience at this office. It's hard to find an amazing hygienist, so if you visit this office, I recommend you see Fateemah! If her manager or the regional manager sees this, please know she's that good that someone traveled out of state just for a cleaning! The staff were are all great too!

Have had good experience with her as well as the hygenists and the receptionist (Robin). Robin and Dr. Stead were able to accomodate me during the very next day they were open to re-cement a cap, which I appreciated. Dr. Stead does give off an aura of caring and my impression is that she does a thorugh job during exams. I have always felt that choosing a dentist is sort of like what a condemed man feels when choosing his method of execution (some states do offer a choice) but I've come to believe that if one has to make the choice I've made a good one with Dr. Stead, though we do differ on the necessity of routine X-rays which, because of the heightened brain cancer risk, small as it may be,I will not be getting anymore. I recently had a bad experience at another office that reminded me how much I enjoy this place and their professionalism as well. It's just kindness. Dr Collaizey Is really a wonderful guy. He makes you feel like he genuinely cares about your teeth and their health and how it affects you as well as your budget. Everything feels well explained and not like you're getting ripped off. I think it's pretty rare that you find a dentist that you enjoy going to and I think this would be my first review of one, but their office definitely deserves it. I mean, I used to go to the very first Park Dental that was in Brooklyn Center growing up and then that chain just blew up. With that blowing up(went to the Grand location), I never had the same dentist or friendly service or care that I used to receive. I went twice to a Metro Dental and was so unimpressed I changed my insurance at the beginning of the year so I could go back. My wife had started going there before we got married and I got on her insurance just to go to Mendes. If you're looking for a great local dentist, this is your place.
