Man this place was awesome! Not many liquor stores are open until midnight by a college campus so I appreciated that. The staff was kind and welcoming, they were super helpful and patient throughout their small rush they had closer to close. The prices are pretty affordable, however, I just wish they would accept Apple Pay! I would've spent a lot more money for the get together we were having. I'll definitely be returning here and encourage you all to check them out. They have side parking a little down the street from them but it can fill up quickly! We told JP that all three of us were celebrating special occasions and he gave us not one, not two, but THREE bottles of wine on the house. I've been coming to this liquor store for years and I can tell you this place is without a doubt the place to go if you're looking for a good price and the absolute BEST customer service. I knew the previous owner of this store and I thought no one could be nicer than him. It turns out I was wrong. The new owner, JP, is the man! He's always super friendly and always has a smile on. He has a phenomenal selection and if he happens to not have what you want, if he can, he'll order an item just for you! He never closes early either! His staff is also very helpful. If JP isn't there, Kumar will take care of you! These guys are seriously classy. For women's day he gave out 500 FREE bottles of wine ! No other store around would do that! Everyone working here is always very helpful and friendly. It has a good wine selection (also some chilled) and decent craft beers in the back. They don't sell much else besides beer wine and liquor so they have a big selection. Lots of great whiskeys as well, including some hard to find stuff. Reasonable prices and they have "happy hour" on Mon and Tues where you get % off wine (and maybe beer?) I think it's 20% off! They always have deals and even gave me free wine on women's day! So I usually do not review liquors stores. It is a basic transaction, I want booze, I give them money for it and I leave. Not hard to mess up to make me warn others, not interesting enough to make me invite others. Well today is the exception! I went here on International Women's Day and got a free bottle of wine. But I also made a friend, JP. JP owns the store and has three sisters in India. When I saw the sign for a free bottle, I thought "nothing is for free in DC. IT'S A TRAP!!!" But I had time, so I was like lets go. I went in and JP greeted me. He and the rest of the men wished me a Happy Women's day and gave me a real full bottle of wine. I was shocketh. Then we started to talk. He told me how important the day was to him because of his sisters and how everyone should be concern about women having rights and to be treated fairly.
