The latest addition to the neighborhood in the space that used to be the Church of the Redeemer (and of course, was replaced by condos). Right above the subway exit, so super convenient. It's literally between my local bodega and the Whole Foods, and in terms of what it has in stock, it's also smack dab in the middle. You'll find more fresh produce than a bodega, and they have a deli counter (most cold cuts are $11.99/lb), but they lack any butchery and just have some pre-packaged chicken, beef, etc. With "organic" in the name, they have all your millennial staples - every type of alternative milk you want, seltzers, imported snacks, and just about every fancy schmancy ice cream brand (some dairy free, of course). Prices are kind of all over the place. They'll mark things down significantly if it's close to the sell by date, but a lot of things aren't even labeled, which is annoying. They try to individually label things, which I'm sure isn't fun for the stock people. They also overcharged me on something, but when I came back with the receipt, they could not have been more apologetic and gracious in refunding me. Just glad I live close by!

Park Natural is an all around health store most likely similar to same establishments in other neighborhoods. It's much appreciated to have in the ' hood even though it's been around for years. Let me be candid for a sec. I don't represent myself as a person who subscribes entirely to eating only health, organic, raw or plant foods. However; I do make a concerted effort to maintain a healthy lifestyle which is where the difference lies. Everything or most things in moderation! But back to Park Natural. I love this store simply because they have just about everything from organic veggies/fruits, vitamins, and bottled beverages to skin care items, refrigerated goods and cooked foods. Keep in mind, you'll dig a bit deeply into your pocket to pay for them. Most health food stores are on the expensive end. In other words, to eat well and maintain a healthy lifestyle isn't cheap. It's why fast food joints are inexpensive. How ironic when we are encouraged to be healthy! Park Natural is the kind of store that appeals to everyone in addition to vegetarians which is great because they carry tempeh and seitan. I like those items myself. Situated near the corner of President and Court Streets, the store is spacious and immaculate. I buy all my vitamins here. And it's comparable to a good friend--you may not always visit them, but you know they are there.

I can't remember if they have meats besides like cured meats. A lot of snack type stuff here. It's basically like in between a bodega and a grocery store. This is where I come if I want bodega stuff and slightly more, and the store is cleaner than most bodegas. The guy at the cashier who I assume is the owner is really nice too.

Think going deep into the smaller batch offerings of many local brands in particular like Barrier, Evil Twin, Other Half and Kelso, as well as national stars like Half Acre and Stillwater among others. Its gotten to the point that it often rivals the selection of the excellent Goldstar Beer Counter a block away, minus the growlers. As you can see, whats driving this high rating is chiefly the beer selection, it really might just be quietly one of the best in BK and I hesitate to blow up my own spot but I must give credit where it is due, and its very much due here. Beyond that the place is one of the more bougie "gourmet" delis that are found throughout the metro that generally represent a step or so up from the humble bodega, both in terms of quality/selections of offerings and in pricing. Staff is friendly and efficient and again the beer selection is AMAZING...
