I wanted to post an update because ever since my first weekend experience with Jen, I have actually been using her all the time now! I have since adopted a second dog, and I now have Jen coming to my house every day to let them out for a 15 minute potty break and play time. Even though she is there 5 days a week, she still sends me pictures EVERY day when she stops by! I love getting the pictures, not because I need the reassurance that she actually showed up (like I might with other pet sitters that are often unreliable), but because it brightens my day to see their faces and know that they are being loved on by her! She has even been available to pick my dogs up from their daycare/grooming center and drop them off at my home, and I wouldn't trust most people with something like that! I am so happy that my friend referred Jen to me, and I've referred her to several of my friends now as well! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Downward Dog Pet Services and Jen. She is fantastic with dogs, highly trustworthy and communicative, and I think our dogs may have felt like they received a wonderful two week vacation as well. Having never left our dogs for an extended period of time before, we were a bit concerned about how it would go. All fears were set to rest when we received our first round of pictures and saw how happy and at ease they were with Jen. Jen is a great pet-sitter! She watched my dog, Nora, when my fiancé and I left her for the first time. Nora has separation anxiety, but Jen handled it very well and sent us updates while we were away. We felt completely comfortable leaving Nora with her, and Jen was so helpful before, during, and after the stay-asking questions, reassuring us as nervous pet-parents, and so on. Jen has been walking my dog Toby, 5 days per week since the beginning of July, and I'm extremely happy. Her rates are inexpensive compared to many dog services, she is respectful of my living space, and she even sends pictures and videos of my dog Toby whenever he sees her. I can tell that my dog is well taken care of while I'm at work and far less anxious when I come home. She is also very flexible if my schedule changes. I left my 2 cats and my poodle jax with Jennifer. Jax is on a very special diet and has very routine training that has to be maintained. She has provided me with round the clock pictures and updates, and has done everything I asked with jax training and more.
