After trying two different groomers based on reviews, I was very disappointed and about to give up. I was called only after an hour that she was done and both times, Emi did not look groomed at all. When I asked if there were any issues with her, both said no. Andi & Peter we're highly recommended and they did a fabulous job! It was very obvious how much love and care they put into what they do because Emi looks absolutely well groomed and I could tell by her demeanor when I picked her up and brought her home that she was well cared for during the process. She's amazing, prompt (always works with my schedule and squeezes me in), dedicated to her job and you can tell loves animals because my 75 lb German Shepherd, Nala, is always SO excited to see her (I don't doubt there's treats/spoiling involved). If you don't own a German Shepherd let me tell you that the shedding is unbelievable. Tabitha has the patience of a saint and will brush/blowout/work her magic until that dog's under-coat is cleared and this dog is 5 lbs lighter from fur. Pricing is fair and worth every cent and the salon itself is so warm and welcoming. My dog has made friends with the salons regulars. Over all, I couldn't ask for a better experience. read more

Decided on this place because they were quick to get us in (next day appointment!). Taylor groomed my 90 lb golden retriever, Sookie. Her cut was exactly how I wanted it--a little longer than a shave, and all the knots out. Taylor was able to achieve this and I'm so happy with it! Sookie looks and smells great. I could tell she was relaxed while being groomed because Taylor mentioned she kept putting her paw up as if to shake. Sookie usually does this if she wants you to keep touching her. :) Communication with Taylor and the owner (I believe) was fast and impeccable. The place was small, but clean and professional. They let her hang out with all the other dogs in a gated area. It's a little pricey for cut, bath, nail trim, butt and ear clean ($70), but it was well worth it and I'll definitely be back! I take my Scottish Terrier, Clover to Janette. Clover actually gets excited when we pull into the parking lot because she knows she's seeing Janette. She gets so excited walking into the salon and jumps up to see Janette. She barely even notices that I'm leaving. Janette goes above and beyond to make sure I'm happy and is very quick also. I also bring my Chihuahua Fidel in for any grooming needs he has. He loves Janette also. The whole shop is like a big family atmosphere! I would recommend Janette and Alpha Pet to anyone. read more

After mine & Koko's (my furrbaby) bad experience at petsmart where Ive taken her for her baths since we adopted each other, I have been very hesitant to find somewhere else to take her. Yes I spoil Koko, I am very protective. So after looking at some reviews I called and left messages for 2 groomers in office and 1 mobile groomer. Taylor texted me w/i an hour to give me some info and some dates and times. I could tell from her text that Taylor would be kind w/ Koko. I took Koko in today and even though she was a lil nervous she let Taylor take her from me right away and I was completely comfortable leaving. Taylor text me w/i ab hour to say my girl was ready and Koko is perfectly happy and looks great. Ive already scheduled her next appointment and I don't see ever taking my Koko anywhere else. Taylor was quick to respond for scheduling and treated our old gal with care. Taylor didn't keep her too long so our pup was in and out and home without too much stress. Heather at Alpha Pet Spa has been our groomer for years. She is extremely talented, and always does a wonderful job on our fur babies. We have 3 dogs- a malamute mix, a German Shepherd, and a long-haired corgi mix, and they always look INCREDIBLE after a trip to see Heather. My mom actually will bring her dog up from Sacramento area to be groomed by Heather. She had tried more than a few groomers in her area, and none compare. Not to mention, she is one of our dogs' favorite people. How many dogs love their groomer??? It's how I know she does her job with care and compassion. I have a 16-1/2 year old female shih tzu who is missing one eye, can't see well out of the other and is deaf. She was also mauled by a large dog when she was 4. The same person has groomed her for the 15-1/2 years that I've owned her. I recently moved to Reno area and made the 4 hour each way drive to California once to get her groomed. Abigail hates the car since she can't see or hear. Andy said she was willing to give it try grooming her. She got her cut nice and short, nails done and anal gland.
